and 2 things i really want to be in the game
the towers are awesome
the wood piles are mega awesome
the trebucket is not so good but its awesome anyways
the game needs more units
the worker needs a respawn button plzzzz
this game would be epic if you made those 2 things
i think this game is currently awesome

Okay, what is the deal with my lumber getting taken to repair a tower, and then the bad guys getting it instead? WTH?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
for an easy win on levels with two towers buy production, gather 5 wood, and pick up the free lumber to buy both towers. it relies on luck (chopper needs to stay put a lot) but it can be done and you will RAPE the computer.

I understood
the game is based on "game restart".
Battle > Upgrade > Loose > restart from the begining "Continue" with upgrades avaible.
HAve fun while playing it!

Mute buton please.
And it would be cool a posibility to choose a tipe of unit to spawn from castle like:
berseker, defender, asasin, warrior, so on....

level 3 mayham seems impossible, level 3-5 should be the most difficult on mayham, everything else should be easier. I think level 3 mayham would be doable if you started with 10 lumber.

The beginnings of a good little game, but it either needs to be grander or if u wanna keep it simple, then pretty much every level should require some kind of tactical trick to win. Keep at it. For now, I won't rate it cuz I can't give it a 4 and the way Kong works, a 3 is a punishing score.

I REALLY wanted to love this game. I even grinded enough to max EVERY SKILL just to give it the best chance. I like to know that I lost a game because it was smarter than me, not because it cheated. But, even maxed out completely, I just could not get a gold on the hard levels that only had one tower (2 and 5). On the other levels, I could buy both (or two) towers before the enemy, and just upgrade production enough to win in time. With one tower, the game cheated the enemy into faster, stronger, more hearty enemies before I could do anything, and often upgraded their castle just as my treb was about to shoot. I can't even see if this holds true on mayhem because the disparity is so great I can't beat level two.
Also, the randomness of wood pile versus treb is too great, there should be an option to make whatever appeared go away. I've had a round go from gold time to bronze simply because the computer cheat-upgraded too fast and I needed a treb, but I got 20 lumber piles.

I gotta agree with GevatterTod. Those things would be nice to have. This game is a good start, but with what he's suggested, the game would be much better.

There are some things, which could change: 1. Let my worker respawn, when he get killed. 2. Give more money at the end of a round. It is to much grind. Or make the shop-items cheaper. 3. Make something, that let the worker move faster. For example workershoes in the shop. 4. Make more descriptions in the shop.

Man, I want to like this game. It's just not quite ready yet. Let me kill the red worker. Let me make a second worker.

You (the creator) had a good idea with this game, but had no common sense about how to make it functional. Good luck next time.

Game eventually repeats the final level. (5 towers, 1 in center) Played it 6 times and never had anything new. Good game though, some levels took several plays to figure out (and some luck). Like others said, some minor balance issues and loss of gatherer stinks. 4/5 for effort, 5/5 with changes.

Love how, prior to the fix of the "loading issue", everything worked fin for me and now I get a big black box and nothing else.

I guess hard/mayhem = computer cheats. I have the only tower and max health for my troops and I have damage bonuses for archers and nights. Yet somehow one enemy foot soldier takes out a knight and 1.5 archers before he dies. No I should do more damage than him and worst case we have = life, something not right here...

I got a silver on the 6th level after a lot of attempts, but on the 7th level I got a gold for the first try. Is this usual?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, big balance problems. Once a treb or a cart spawns where you can't survive getting it, that's the end of free lumber. Problem is, I think the red side is still getting a rate of lumber that assumes you're still getting it. I also suspect red had less to invest in than blue, but the rate its lumber arrives at hasn't been reduced.

there is a problem where after i finished a lvl i press the restart button but i went 2 the next lvl but i still like it 3/5

as people have been stating, balance issues with the game, also on Mayhem, their soldiers seem to upgrade their attack and speed even without any towers..... The fact that they can kill your lumberjack and you cant kill theirs is another problem. a couple of the later levels need pathfinding as my soldiers completely ignored a tower or two... need more incentive to finish it on hard/mayhem with the upgrades which are just to expensive to buy with the amount you make for each level..
Still, love the concept and spent about an hour on it, 3/5

On map 2 with the tower in the middle, there is a problem. On successful by me, it 1st turned red then blue and spent the whole time shooting at both sides and produced both red and blue archers.

Unless I'm missing something then luck is involved on some of the Mayhem levels (Level 3 in particular), you need lumber piles alot more than Trebuchets. Instead of having them randomly respawn over one another they should spawn together giving you the choice of what to get, it's annoying being on your way to win a level only for a Trebuchet to spawn and screw you over.

ppl - it's not really that hard to get past the normal and hard levels. I've had a great time and no boredom issues (speed up works fine). in fact, it's been a while since i enjoyed a game this much, even if it could do with some more work.

So... my worker (the only guy in my kingdom who owns an axe) will chop down a tree, then cross the road, walk half a mile through a field, chop down a tree there, then go back across the road, past the tower, into his neighbor's back yard, chop down a tree there, then take the scenic route back to location #1 to chop down another tree there, then over to a fourth location a mile away where there was this really great tree he heard about, etc... ...not very efficient. Is there any way for me to tell him to just sit by the side of the road and wait for the magical bundles of wood to appear instead? Because apparently that's where the big money is.
