Mildlyamusing but this is the first game of this type I have come across that did not have a magnet function. And the mouse off the screen is incredibly frustrating - especially when you zip back in and you click for the bomb. And considering how long it takes to get 150k is a pause button that difficult to incorporate?

I took away that extra point. The hard badge is asinine. Not because of its difficulty, but because they send 1,000's of dime guys. Moronic. This was an immature game - clearly incomplete. 2/5 And that's pretty fair for its glaring flaws, poor implementation, obviously incomplete upgrade metaphor but unique aiming mechanism.

the hard badge took me 3 days to get it due to me doing other things and learning curve. like other comments said, def max out everything, use your strafe (aka aiming at one direction), and time bomb. My general strategy is to stay on one wall, move and strafe to clear out the enemies up and down. Use double click to convert all bullets into coins except the enemies that re-spawned too soon and they fire at you. Enemies spawn in a wave or pattern, sorta. Avoid bumping into orange egg, green, and blue. Kill eye tower, purple, and orange teeth as soon as you can.

that feeling when your mouse accidentally click outside of the game window and you hit space bar and you didnt see what happened bc you're in the comment section now

Not a bad concept, but hurt by a few, major avoidable flaws. Having the enemy merely "appear" in the middle of the screen immediately loses the game 2 of 5 stars. You can be avoiding 100 bullets, but if the game decides where you're headed an enemy will appear, you're going to hit. And, the move off the screen issue is unavoidable, yet still a major flaw. 2/5, but I'm feeling generous, so 3/5.

Wow I didn't know that Death used this hole to kill, would prefer its hands. Cell warfare with bad gameplay becomes this. 3/5 star because I love cell warfare

How can I upgrade my stuff more so I can defeat the boss? I'm like a billionaire now because I keep losing the fight.

The "survive for a time levels" - try and leave just one enemy on screen and avoid it, but also avoid killing it (and releasing multiple new enemies). Much less frantic, especially once cash collection becomes less of an issue.

This is super fun! I've spent my entire day playing it, my life is in shambles because I can't beat the boss, but it's fun

So i basically mastered this game (compared to my 2 friends) when i was 14, didn't knew much english and couldn't be bothered to read, now i'm 25... and i learned that pressing space was bullet time and i had a bomb... WTF ME?!

Jerky play, annoys me I cant full-screen the game to avoid going out of the bounds of the play screen which isn't counted and my icon stops moving. Strafe, berserk and slow motion don't work for me, there is no option to change quality... I like the game but the inverted shooting is off putting, 2 stars, could be better

ihatethecontrolsihatetheconrtolsihatethecontrolsihatethecontrols I HATE THE CONTROLS! Even the bfg10k isn't as powerful as it claims to be, i need 5 kills to pass a level and yet 10 seconds later of focusing a group fo weak enemies and nobody is dead except me

"Me trying points mode for the first time" HA this will be soo damn izzy,i have the hellish Death vs Monstars 2 impossible badge! What the hell can this little score mode do to trigger me?!Lololol,i will get it first try. "Me after dying at 100000 points" No,that's clearly impossible,i am not going for it,1/5.

ok, ive seen a lot of games with bad controls but this one has the worst ive ever seen... other than that, the game is great.

two badges from same series in one week? lame. and controls are worse than before, even if simpler. that's sad. let's take a fun game and make it annoying to play. say what? anyway, will finish later: fortunately, it's easy enough, if a bit glitchy. (i can't believe i chuckled at the "You Rock" bit...) ftr, Bouncy-Bouncy music makes me think of Mega Man X. i'd say Storm Fukuroul, but it might be a later irregular that it reminds me of more. (it's been a while)

That game became slower since 2009 with new browser+flash update. Really adobe+firefox+chrome makes old games very slower.

On Tuesday the BOTD was in Death vs. Monstars 2, now on Thursday the BOTD is for Death vs. Monstars. Why was it not in chronological order?

Suggestion: "Hide coins". I'm having trouble with the later levels because even though i've bought all the upgrades and no longer need coins, they still make up about a third of all the activity on the screen and that makes it hard for me to figure out what I need to shoot/what's shooting at me.

(part 2 of 2) The addition to slow down time also let's the developer get a bit crazy with how much of a 'hell' the game is because we are given tools to actually counteract it instead of just expecting to go ultra instinct in impossible scenarios. This game was incredible when it came out and I didn't realize it could get much better until the squeal came out, with the quality of life changes (no more money after you buy everything) and even more skill testing tools to interact with the environment with. Even with all of these tools the dev still gives us a nice fun challenge, with the squeal REALLY emphasizing the challenge part with some of their levels. Very well done GameReclaim, you've made a masterpiece with this series.

(part 1 of 2) Death vs monster and the squeal are phenomenal games. Really, I don't know if people appreciate what these games bring to the table. Bullet hells are some of my favorite kinds of games to play, and kongregate is full of them. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this is the only bullet hell with aim that isn't just straight in front of you that isnt with those awkward move with keyboard aim with wherever cursor is type of games. The movement in this series is incredibly fluid with very intuitive aim controls, they let you focus on what you need to focus on. You start the game at max speed instead of upgrading for speed (because who likes playing the game in slow motion?). The upgrades don't make me feel like I have to wait to start having fun, it just is fun and I get better at it.

I'm amazed at how good I am at this. Well, sort of. I think it's because this particular game has smoother play action than other games of this sort, so, it allows quicker actions and response times.
