It's a good starting point for a good RTS game. The mechanics are working well and it runs fluently.
But it's completely void of interesting decisions and strategy. Also I don't like the paying for new units etc. It's especially bad for a competitive multiplayer mode.

here's a tip block the enemy resources just 1 and they stop production on axemen/berserkers or spearmen/assasins its toooooo easy!

i LOVE the game but you know what's better?playing it MULTIPLAYER the only problem is that ppl don't play games like this on there browser :(

When I played it, the server was pretty much dead, but I enjoyed findind a way to find fun when i completed a level :)

Found a better version of the game! If you go to gamesamba.com you can play a version where all the units (berserkers, chicken punishers, towers, roar, stun) are all gold-only purchases! You only need oddies for clothes and building upgrades. Check it out!

This game is dead and is also hard as hell.The first few pve missions are ok.Islands 1,2,3 i suppose.After that it goes down hill.If you dont spend money to play to buy oddies.First off the game needs more people.

@kmilott, you can earn "money", called gold in the game, by playing quests or participating in the Hall. The thralls are not overpowered, they just have different abilites; each of the quests is definitely beatable. The enemy tribes do have limited resources. When there are no supplies for them to gather, they only can produce peasants. By learning to properly block your enemy's resources you can get through quests with more ease. None of the points you mentioned exist or are bugs.

Wow this gets real old real fast...the higher lvl missions are nearly inpossible without paying for kreds to trade for oddies and without oddies, one can't 'buy' the necessary upgrades to advance in the game...sorry, but i don't feel like signing up for a one-month membership to netflix ( i have one already) nor donating to the ASPCA for 'free' kreds.... you can use in-game 'gold' but when one oddie costs 2000 gold and the least amount of oddies needed for any purchase is over 100 oddies, you're suddenly looking at over 200,000 gold...thnx but no thnx

@kmilott, asking to have bugs bugs fixed but not saying what the bugs are isn't terribly helpful. Could you be little more specific?

@unmortalguy, you can choose to play the game in a window if you wish. While in the game, pause it (P) and hit escape. From there you can modify the sound and screen size.

All this is free? Woah so much content and i don't care what people say about the graphics just like minecraft graphics don't make a game and if there was a version for the xbox360 i would have payed for this i have to say im surprised by how epic you are for making this 5/5 and anyone that votes this down has a serious mental problem

Great game, and i ahve only 2 bad things to say about this game:
1: It should be fullscreen all the time or the ability to play windowed, i get annoyed because the little loading before every stage.
2:the graphics should be the same at all times.

AH HA! I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A TRUE RTS! ( a make a base, make and army, and go attack game)that does not have be paid for or downloaded( other than endari) i give this game 5/5 and favorited, sad that its a little simple but, i still love this game from the start.

lol any part of this being free is a lie. dont get me wrong i dont blame them for makeing people pay to have fun, all this realy is, is a demo. you need oddys for a lot of importent stuff, 1 odd cost 2k gold and ive been earning less than 4k or 4k exactly per mission, if i remember right 160 oddys is the lowest for anything, 2000x160=? i just put this up here cause they almost got me, great game 5/5 i almost said wow thank you for letting me play this free but i see now :) thx though anyway for makeing this great game! :D

Yes, Chrome is notoriously horrible with Java, and the game cannot help that. I'm glad you were able to get that working!

ok..figured out i needed a java plug in for chrome.... i do like the full screen...was wondering when some of these kongregate games was gonna figure that out.

my google chrome browser can't load some plugin it needs...tries then says popup was blocked...guess its a 1-5 till that is fixed.

@firedragon1000, there's a difference between pause and escape. Escape brings up the menu, it does not pause the game. If you wish to pause the game before opening the menu, hit "P" to pause it. This way, if you wish to allow the game to continue on while working on something else (useful for slow, long games), you can hit escape, look at other stuff on your computer, and then hit resume to return to your game.

I sent in men to destroy the enemy base. I clicked esc and walked away for a while and when I came back, my men where killed.(when I clicked esc, there was a resume button)Please fix this.

yeah i gave up on playing because the later leves get to hard without getting oddies to upgrade and since no one sells oddies in the bank this game gets inpossilbe

ok game at first... but unoly have the basic units unless you pay. if that stays that way... no one will stay and play it.
