I agree with many people on the graphics. With as quickly as you end up moving and as much as is going on onscreen this game needs a low-graphics option for those of us who use slower/older/campus computers.

I run an extremely slow computer and I am sad I cannot turn the quality to low by right-clicking or by some sort of options menu like most flash games.

The game isn't that good (repetitive, problem with the controls) but the concept is great. I would like to see a sequel.

@Tidbit99: Actually, you just have no patience. The boss is really easy as long as you have enough time to wait him out. Try using different strategies before complaining.

I have to say this game won me over and filled me with a great sense of nostalgia! Loved the art and whole lay out. It was a quick play (ie perfect for a flash game) and once I got over the very first death shock I was struck by the genius of it all. Defiantly a fav. I thought the 'pattern' style of boss fight was well done for the game as well. Would LOVE to see more!

boss is retarded, shoots everywhere and flies upward out of range everytime I jump up, that's just stupid, no real skillful way to defeat him.

Too much upgrading... It's getting a little repetitive now. I can't believe I'm doing this just for a few Powerup Rewards Points.

@Natelys, I had trouble at first, the trick is to stay directly underneath the boss until he is about to pound the ground.

@NatelysWhore: (spoiler if you don't want to know how to beat the boss) Between. That's the secret. Walk between the guns on his 2nd volley.

@beeble2003: Read th3ch0s3n0n3 comment. Only the first shot will hurt the boss each time it hits the ground. So with a fully powered-up gun, it will take 4 times for the boss to hit the ground for you to kill it. Which means you only need 4 shots when you enter the boss room. @NatelysWhore: For the rapid-fire volley, you don't dodge THROUGH the volley. The point of the volley is to force you to be underneath the boss. Then all you need to do is run left and right and stay under the boss while it shoots downwards. That's why vincentp said it was easy. If you want to get some experience dodging the boss's attacks, do a search in Kongregate for games that have the tag "Bullet Hell." They'll make dodging the bosses attack in this game a cakewalk, which is probably why this game only has an Easy Badge.

@NatelysWhore just run under him until he is ready to fall; it's very easy. Small adjustments to avoid the individual bullets, and then just stay with him, in between the two bullet streams, until it stops. He drops, you shoot him. With full gun damage it only takes four shots.

@justforpowerup: MILK? Do you mean Made in Lovely Kin (band), or something else? http://www.acronymfinder.com/MILK.html

OK, what's the pattern for the boss? Maybe it's my own fault for being not-as-dextrous as I once was, but I can only get through a gap in the first rapid-fire volley about half the time, and the other one always seems to last just long enough to pin me against the edge of the room where I can't go over around or through without getting hit. To see whatsisface saying it's sooo easy to beat makes me think there's some non-obvious trick to hiding from that seemingly undodgeable second volley. Either that or it's one of those "have better reflexes" walkthroughs.

@fhhuber: Copying the Upgrade Complete concept, even though they are only slightly similar in one aspect? I guess all tower defence games are a rip off of Don't Touch My Gems then.
