Really fun game that totally deserves a 5.
I don't believe that it's score should be dragged down just because of the difficulty of the challenges... that's why they're called challenges, no?

finally finished.. If you want to get the impossible badge easily.. make sure you get the City of R'leyh card in your opening hand. Use it, and hope he gets the +2 Arcane/+4 Taint Insanity. That will drop his life real fast and you can finish him off...... if he doesn't kill you with one of those power cards. Its better than starting over and over

oh and i just noticed it's partially broken as well, if you're unlucky your creature won't do damage although there's no opponent creature, no invulnerability and no shield. my byakhee hasn't done any damage in the last five rounds...

Luck counts a little too much, but good idea, good cards and funny challenges.
With more cards and absolutely deck customization could be exceptional

almost exclusively based on luck. that always makes for a bad game concept. also the majority of the concept is very much straight adapted from FFG.
overall 4 (interesting general idea) -1 (too much luck) -1 (biased towards opponent) -1 (adapted concept) = 1/5

I like the game, but hate the fact that the "opponents" cards are stacked. You get less life they get more. Makes it a one sided game most of the time. 3.5/5

for challenge 20 you need to kill the opponent with blast em.AND ONLY BLASTEM. overall good idea, but too based on luck.

So I just finished the impossible badge and I can say this, there is skill involved, you need to think two steps ahead. But, for the most part, it is STRAIGHT LUCK! Anyone who says otherwise or talks crap after getting the badge is full it. Over 150+ tries the computer got me in one turn.

... so theres about a 10% chance that he won't kill you the second turn, even when you use invulnerability the first turn and insanity him the second.

You should be able to pick your deck for the challenges, that way its more of a challenge. For example for Challenge 16, its all about restarting until you have a +invulnerability and the card that makes enemy go insane. Then you have to get lucky enough for him to not have two attack cards while you hope to get something to give you +HP. Oh yeah, and he has to get the taint insanity, anything else doesnt even help you.

Thanks to the game maker for listening to the user feedback and making improvements, this newer version of the game is much improved from the first version that was up. Great game 4/5 up from a 3/5

I want to take back my 4 rating... the challenge is absurd!!! I get killed on the first term half the time on challenge 8... thats not hard... thats just retarded.

Overall I'd say I like this game. However, with the challenges the amount of unbalanced play becomes ridiculous. It's simply not entertaining to play the same level over and over and over and over etc.

Pah. Random and the CPU gets the attacking cards ... nerves always have to load last game to be lucky to have the right cards.

If your game is based solely upon how lucky you are on the cards you're dealt, you deserve 0 stars. Sadly 1-star is as low as it gets, so that what this game gets.

Is it just me or does it seem that sometimes some things are bugged? For example I had a creature that supposedly ignore the defense of the opponent, yet it's damage was always reduced.

@estyles: I agree, like Castle Wars, the card game here on Kong, where you can set the number amount of random cards put in each play. It is a multiplayer game.

16 is truly impossible. Got all the other badges fairly easily (took a while to figure out the only weakness of 20). Played at least 50 rounds against 16 so far.

Great game, frustrating challenges but hey, thats why they'r called challenges :P
The only thing missing to make this a 6/5 is a deck-building option
