Yep, currently every 6 hours a space ship will get you 1 shard, so 4 shards per day - even if you idle i.e. for 12 hours, and get back, one of the first ships you collect after will get you 1 shard/6 hours.
Also, we're working on a goals/Achievements update that will give out more extra shards

What do the "missions" even do? they don't seem to increase gains any so are they useless? Because they seem quite useless.
Missions open up the resources you'll need further to get to the keys needed to reveal the secret and open up the new gameplay abilities! So, they are not useless, try to get enough keys to reveal new area and you'll see what I had in mind ;)
Did you perhaps just set the buying amount from x1 to xMAX – that should perhaps change the upgrade costs from hundreds to millions? I just send you also a PM with more details about this..

Oh yay... I save the game online at level 55, almost complete, save 3 times just to be sure, then close firefox, come back and I'm at level 49... Oh come on... It took me half the facking day to get from 49 to 55...
We're reworking how online saves work, as atm game always loads online save. The issue comes if the online saves fail for whatever reason, meaning an older/not up to date save could be loaded on refresh. We'll push this update this weekend, after it, let us know if you'd want us to adjust your save file for the time loss compensation!

the boosters seem to have broken i have 7 shards and none of the buttons work anymore i use 1 - all and nothing it dosent take them it just plain out dosent work
In case you had the game opened for a longer period of time and didn't refresh it for a while, it could cause issues on the shards not working properly, as we've released some updates during that time.
Hmm, how much progress do you tend to lose? Also do you tend to refresh a lot, or have you imported a save, or just started playing and kept using that, without a game reset/uploading another save?

I appreciate games with an indication for available upgrades. I HATE IT when they won't clear. I would rather have no feature than a bugged one.
Actually a fix is being deployed for those that don't disappear later today - happened in case if you had something maxed, and couldn't buy anything else. Sorry about that!
If this happens can you try switching to one of the other tabs (i.e. prestige) and then back, see if that fixes it? Will also look in what case this happens
A user showed us a case when that happens early - so likely you have one of the speed/spawn upgrades maxed, and it's notifying incorrectly you should be able to afford something. We'll get to fix this next week now that we know when it happens
Idle MP can be a bit lower indeed, as it tries to replicate all unit actions, which if it doesn't do at least 30 seconds off, it could outtake some units in the average GPS. We'll try to improve this next week. But for Areas progress idle is definitely a bit slower, as it's limited by computer CPU (we can't recalculate all actions for days potentially and block your comp :D)

Have 80b prestige, after 24h can prestige for 1b (no improve at all). cant complete alien quest (need 200k alien), farmed 50 keys and nothing happend. Do i miss something?

forced to reset..... had 200k pp.... but couldnt complete a mission (3k alien turn in) untill i gathered another 250k aliens ugh
For hackers you need to gather enough cash to start recruiting them. You can generate cash by selling aliens. Basically you have to switch around the generators to balance production of resources - you should steer towards generating as many aliens ( that will produce alien tech passively) and hackers (that will reveal documents passively).

rates should have units of time^-1 not time. maybe call it spawn time instead of spawn rate or give the multiplicative inverse of the value

As example for runners the spawnrate and spawnamount is 1000/697*50=71.73 71.73 is the basevalue and this gets multiplied by the MP gain. For the Furries its 1000/1050*50= 47.61. Its only like 2/3 worth of the Runners but the MP gain is so exponentially unbalanced there it beats everything. Also with this Basevalue before it gets multiplied by MP Gain you should be able to balance them all good. Thats why the example here just to help you.

Also Furries is like minimum 98% of all MP income even when we upgrade them uqal with the OCD upgrade so i just nvm everything and go for Furries MP increase and health is only useful to increase on the gamer. It is pretty good with the Invisibility too even that it's just 200ms duration. I had to increase max unit spawns and other stuff and theres no way current for me to get even more skillpoints. Also that we can't reset skills to get these skillpoints all back is a bit sad.
It kinda changes which unit is producing most MP during the game stage you are at, and it also depends which skills you decide to use. More skillpoints will be introduced really soon when we'll introduce new gameplay options, hopefully we manage to release the reset skill option as well ;) Can't wait we release all this, we'll share WIP in the next days.

More health for my units means they need longer to die and this gives less MP because there's not even benefits to be at a higher area so why not just ignoring the health from them forever? Increasing their Health is actually selfowned until we get finally benefits from higher area. The MP/second decreased significantly when i upgraded gamer from 9k to 18k health. That's why i noticed it. So the MP gain have to increase by the factor of health increase. Double my health gives double MP for this unit and so on. To prevent SELFOWNED ISSUE! Hello Dev?
Good observation, indeed it would reduce MP gain, which especially with not much benefits from progressing to new areas right now is not ideal.
Right now we're focusing on a major content update, that will also resolve some of these issues. And with it we'll also do an other bigger rebalance. So until then we probably won't push many big balance changes, as it's just double work, and resolving not much long term. Might be able to throw in one more balance update this week, to improve it until the bigger update later this month.

game has recently become unplayable. The game will randomly totally freeze up and even after restarting the page the game will still be frozen.
1) Does it freeze up completely or for a few seconds, i..e during saves?
2) if it doesn't load on refresh, can you please check developer console F12 and send us the error logs? Someone already did so we'll push a fix for that, but just in case yo ugot a diff error it'd be much appreciated!

Clearing area 51 should reward us with 1 skillpoint for free each time. I just look at the 10times skillpoints increase and think what is this garbage?! This suggestion would fix this nonsense!

Can you add the function to show how much MP % each unit gains? Like gamer gets 70% MP and the other 30% are splitted between the rest of the units.

Incredible idea. Unluckily, you've got many thumbdowns from wannabe Area 51 raiders too scared to leave the basement.
Thanks :) Locked in the basement might be part of the reason for that, but the game was also a bit buggy, poorly balanced & repetitive/not much depth at the start, so lower ratings were fair tbh. We fixed many of these issues and are preparing a major content update, so hopefully it will encourage more people to leave the basement and put a 6 star rating on the game!

There is something wierd with atleast health upgrade.. Runner currently has 50 and the light blue below sais if upgrading runners will have 37..
We noticed some bug there yesterday as well - will be looked at asap - and we have a bigger update coming tomorrow as well, so it will be batched with that :)

i have 21 PP and this gives +210% MP. It should also give +210% health for all units to fix this issue that healthupgrade is totally pointless right now.

Rightclick on the tab and just select the mute there. I don't understand why many complain about sound like you guys never noticed this obvious feature? sry but thats insane stupid not noticing it for years.
After your report, we did all needed researches and figured out that indeed you were charged 30 kreds on the backend, not 25 (our onitial price for that product was 30 and after we decided to lower it just before the release, and it seems that it stayed 30 on the backend). We fixed the issue with this immediately and reported it to Kongregate stuff , who refunded the difference in kreds to all those users who bought a Skater skin pack.
So, all should be fixed and running properly now.
