Under rating threshold (show) There's one boss that shoots three streams of bullets at you. In a sense, it's one of the more difficult bosses. I don't know if it's the one I lost the most lives on, but it's close. The problem is that it's way too easy to graze. Instead of grazing one bullet, you graze the whole stream. You gain a life after every other shot. In the boss rush, I gained about twice as many lives from that one boss as I lost from all of them combined.

Under rating threshold (show) Awesome game! A word of advice on the last level. That one boss that shoots spiral shots and also shoots three beams at the same time is one of the trickiest. To get past that one you need to graze one of the three beams while shooting at it. If you do this you'll get a ton of extra lives. I managed to get 13 without using the redrum. Try it! Hope this helps!

Under rating threshold (show) The contrast on my laptop's screen leaves much to be desired- dark blue and green enemies on a black and dark grey backround are very difficult to see. Adding an outline in a high-contrast color would have made dying from being rammed by enemies you could barely make out clearly might cause some people to ragequit. The bullets can be clearly made out on all the levels (that I saw...) at least... The opportunity cost of trying different powerups/levels is very high, measured in player time spent.

Under rating threshold (show) an even easier way to kill the final boss is getting into melee range. You will graze so many bullets, thet you will gain lives instead of losing them.

Under rating threshold (show) Did you know that when you get to the 3 last level's final boss(the one that shoots 3 beams of bullets) you can stay in one spot and the beams will just graze you FOREVER? this makes you gain a life every 3 beams! once I got 116 lives by doing that!

Under rating threshold (show) There is no indication of where the border of movement is which makes me blind on my range of mobility. Worse is that when your ship meets the border, instead of sliding towards the move, it stops completely and ends up getting a bullet to the face. The difficulty of this is not the amount of bullets on the screen but the bad interface and interaction between user and ship.

Under rating threshold (show) I felt as if the music was slightly distracting and that the hud got in the way, so when I went to evade to that corner, I was unable to see where my hitbox was. Overall I enjoyed the concept although I wish it had different starter ships to choose from.

Under rating threshold (show) Pretty fun game. Just two things that I think would improve the experience: 1) Keyboard controls. I can't see my cursor, yet if it ever goes outside of the frame, -1 life. 2) There's a small graphical glitch when I have 20+ lives. The glowing gradient doesn't fill the entire mask, so most of the "2" and part of the ones digit is just a white strip.

Under rating threshold (show) Also, the sidekicks that can shoot are limiting my movement. Rather than allow them to pass the edge of the screen, like the defensive orbs, they're stopping me from approaching their respective edges, which makes it harder to dodge some bullets, especially when you're not expecting to be stopped from going farther left or right when you're not there yet.

Under rating threshold (show) A lot of the bullets I'm trying to graze are spontaneously disappearing near my left and right wings, and this is without the defensive pods blocking them. Please fix this. It's making grazing a pain, even moreso because the graze range is so godawfully small.
