Nice looking game but so far all I'm doing is walking around with no clue as to what I am doing. Needs more instructions.

controls are kind of difficult because if you mouse moves off the screen while moving the camera the right click options come up

what is this game about is there a sorta refrence a kind of thing you can do or is anything ment to happen what are the peoples names

I think that it's a shame that you couldn't include everyting from the original plan, I think this game has the potential to become a masterpiece as games like Yume Nikki, .flow or LSD: Dream Emulator but as it is now it feels somewhat unfinished. Please don't give up the project, it rocks!!

i loved it few things though
1 i really wished there was more content
2is there more story behind it like what the facility was for or why the person is there
3 will there be more coming soon as ethier a sequel or just updates
4 is there any info about what the person is becoming or inspiration for it
5 greatjob and again only problem is lackof content. i dont even care that i dont know whats going on because it adds to the atmosphere
finally if i was going to waste 15 minutes of my life im glad it was on this

i like the idea, and i actually really enjoyed the atmosphere. as others have said, there's definitely room for improvement but i like where you're headed. interesting and quite beautiful in fact, if you choose to look at it that way. this is a game that should be expanded on, to say the least, because it was very original and i liked it. :)
I didn't get to include a lot of the things I originally wanted, as it was on a month-long deadline, so a lot of things got left in that honestly don't make any sense. Sorry about that, but yeah I probably shouldn't have tried making something on such a large scale for a small period of time.

t was interesting, but I feel like it should be categorized as "misunderstood interactive digital art" instead of "game". =3

Also, while I like the idea of a game in which you wait to die but experience life before that, I think the whole experience could have been improved if the little bit of life we got to experience was really enjoyable. If life is amazing and beautiful then it's terrible when it's taken away from you. As it was, I was confused and overwhelmed by the labyrinthine level design, and I had no goal at all. I don't think this game needs a goal in the sense that, say, a FPS needs a goal - that would be ridiculous - but if we'd had some guidance, some direction or something to look forward to or strive towards, I think the whole game would have been more effective, as it would have clashed sharply with the "you will die very soon" mechanic.
Basically, I think this is very promising, and I look forward to whatever you do next, but there's room for improvement.

But I didn't really know. The ending didn't really work for me, because I simply didn't understand what you were trying to do. There was a comparison between this shifting, female mutation and the winding of smokestacks and industry, but to be honest I wasn't convinced by the simile. Not least because there was little to no industry within the game itself, and I wasn't even sure who the female creature was: whether it referred to the mutating avatar, or whether the game itself was an allegory for unrequited love or something. I was intrigued by what the ending was doing but I just didn't *get* it, because I didn't feel there was enough to *get*.

Interesting concept and a wonderful experiment in ambience but it felt like there was lots of stuff that either didn't make it into the game or wasn't explained.
For instance: the woman referred to in the notes and audio logs. Is that us? Or is that the woman in red at the end? Where does the game take place? I assumed it was some sort of laboratory where something had gone wrong (and we were that something) since there were audiologs and there was a coffin in a crater where something had been confined.

Oh, look! A game where you walk around and there are creepy sights! So chilling! So provocative! The pinnacle of games as art! This medium's Citizen Kane!
What exactly were you trying to accomplish with this?
Not much. I just wanted to make a bunch of weird architecture and environments. Ultimately it was supposed to change along with the mutation but I had one month to make it so I had to rush a lot of it, and never completed a lot of the stuff. I can understand what you're saying though, looking back I feel it seems forced especially missing so much.

its good to see something different, most games out these days are either "hack and slash" or "shoot em ups" its fun to find some games developers are still creating original and unique styles, i loved how you play a 2D character in a 3D world I feel it kind of adds to the fact that you don't really know what's going, honestly I clicked on this game expecting to play just another cliché game fighting at mutants just to pass a few minutes uncovering file after file explaining the story, it's interesting to play a game that doesn't need an explanation because there's no real point to it, its great that you've proved you don't need violence or an objective to have a great game, I would improve the character though because it looks like your slowly being mummified as opposed to being mutated. Or at least that's my take on it, great game 5/5 cant wait to see more from you

You could try to redo the the level design to include new abilities or puzzles. That way you could guide the player to places where he can find notes or tapes that give him information on where he is, what has happened etc. And these puzzles and abilities can lead to other locations where new information can be found that expands on the information the player already has.
PRIOR is a very good example of how it could be done.

I can change that- good point. I'll up the time another 5 minutes later today- see how that goes over. I have got to the point where I can do everything in the 10 but I also designed the thing so I suppose that would help! Thanks for the feedback.

I found it interesting. It manages to create a certain mood that I really like. However, you don't get enough information to really understand what is going on. The ending left me really confused, because it didn't enable me to connect all the bits of background story I have found in the environment. I would rate it 3/5, but since I really like the basic concept of this game and some I'll give it a 4.
Thanks- and yeah, it's a bit confusing especially with the time limit. Parts don't make sense entirely regardless though I have to admit. I made this in a month as my first game for a pageant and am hoping to continue my understanding of narrative in games. Do you have any ideas for what could be done better? Anything would help.
It's good you liked the concept, I have wanted to make this for awhile so even a little positive response is nice.

A. during turning the player-sprite becomes hard to see. (hope it's only a stand-in for an eventual 3D-figure)
B. the base speed seems rather slow
C. sometimes when you enter another room the point of entrance is to your left/right instead of behind you.
In response to A, yes- thank you. I am making a few more bug fixes today and it's pretty much done. This sort of feedback is helpful! The 2D sprite is not a placeholder. I wanted to experiment with contrasting the player against the environment so I've decided to use some 2D sprites for the characters to give a feeling of alienation among an otherwise 3D world.
To B that is a good point- I have sped up movement quite a bit with this version. The base movement is the same but as you mutate it is not as slow now. Still a bit slow for my liking but I feel that it adds to the weakness of the character at that point as well so I may keep it still.
True. I will see if I can get that working- I appreciate the critique though. Not sure what you thought but regardless this was good feedback.
Hah, an interesting comparison at least. Hope you enjoyed it! Feeling removed from yourself, your own actions- that is horror. And hopefully I conveyed that to some degree.

This game is bad and 3D makes it even worse and the graphics is terrible do not play this game it is a waste of time i would give it 1/5
