Wait... I managed to beat the monsters inside a pandora box, and the only thing i got was a PURPLE item and some green items?
C'mon, pandora box is way harder (and expensive) than legendary lure, it should give a better reward, not a single purple item...

A third of the skills on each class I chose were utterly useless(armor and melee spells on mage? Seriously?) and both of the Cleric's passives are stupidly ineffective(who's still using smite by Level 5?). And it may just be the one I ran across, but Legendary creatures are absurdly impossible. Gorgon stun-locked my entire team(occasionally missing Warrior because of 21% stun resist) until everyone except my warrior was dead. There's difficulty and then there's "You lose, go play something else". The death penalty is arbitrary and potentially game-ruining, especially when an unlucky shot at the start of a fight can instantly ruin any chance of victory, and could easily be replaced with something like cutting your gold by some percentage.
The basis is good but the implementation leaves something to be desired. Oh, and next time include an explanation of what conditions are. I had no idea what Curse was for the longest time.

I love this game, but I couldn't help but notice just now, when purchasing a unique item at the shop just now, the shop keeper offered to buy it from me for more then I just sent. So if I so wanted I could sell it back to him and make a profit.

well it's not bad but there are better games out there on Kong, it's just whether you like this sort of game. still fun to play though!

@sdshadow: your passion for this game is quite apparent but you have got to admit there are way better balanced games than this giant pos. i love rpgs and the sorts but this game?! drug wars for the TI-85 calculator is better.

This is one of the best free games that i ever played. @ Middlefinger38: if you don´t like to equip and compare items you should play a shooter and not a dungeon crawler...
I play now a solo (only one character - a cleric) and i have beaten the boss at level 9 on the easy difficulty, i now try the next harder setting.

wow this game is crap. the inventory and the shear amount of time you deal with equips is stupid because using recommended aren't the best choices. that means more time figuring out whats best. on top of that as soon as you're done and battle... WHAT?! you mean i have more better equipment? again?! wtf?! how is this game on the best of 2008 quest. 1/5

I had lots of fun naming my team after my favorite TV characters. (Spock, Saavik, T'Pol, and Daniel Jackson) Then I started playing the game and decided that it was fun too.

Psych is indeed amazing.
Also, was wondering, what does it mean when on some 'Unique' items it says By: someone did they customize an item or something? How does that work?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I want to know does anyone here actually use the default names and portraits? When I found you could make it custom I immediately made SG-1, a Psych team (Shawn, Gus, Juliet, Lassie) and a Justice League :P no Aquaman, Because "Aquaman sucks..."

338% is pretty much impossible. I wouldn't try it unless you're extremely lucky when it comes to treasure, or don't mind skipping bosses. Still, if you DO try it, good luck. maybe you'll figure out something crazy that makes the impossible merely insanely difficult.

My warrior has 89% damage reduction now, unbuffed... and he doesn't even use a shield.. I fear myself. D: @Winter_Knight: No, you cannot use magic outside of battle at all. Not too hard without it, though. You just need strategies... Or Rings of Boundless Energy, they heal you fully after each battle XD

Thumbs up if you've ever forgotten to either put the skill you just purchased onto the character's bar, or if you've just forgotten to buy the skill in the first place! >.<

Elusiveness is good. Warriors and clerics can sustain more damage than rogues do because they can use heavy armor(up to 40+% damage reduction) unlike rogues that only get to use medium armor(only up to 20+ish damage reduction if you are lucky). Both warriors and clerics can also use tower shields that can boost up their armor by a lot. A LOT.

a lil word of advice: if you have a ruge, whatever you do dont increase theyre "elussivness",it pretty much dooms your team since the attacks will kill the other mor important party members like your knight or cliric >-<'

This game needs pancakes. lol Now for the real comment: This is the 2nd best game i found on kongregate. (the 1st being Sonny 2) i love the ability "Resolve" for the warrior cuz i like ppl that can heal themselves. I love the music when u fight the cultist. As u bight have guessed,i like RPGs. I really think there should be a Monsters' Den 3. This is starting to sound like a review,Im not good at typing things like this so I'll stop. Keep up the great work.

I've lost count of how many times I've playedthis game, but today is the first time I've seen "The Magical Quiver of Archranger Bilko, Undead Hunter" Nice.

@GroogFish - Very doable at 188% [Extreme, Hardcore]. Given that it's the shopping I like, I don't bother with "no shopping". "No power regeneration" is the next challenge.

I like the fact you don't have to use all four characters, and use (for example) only warrior and conjuror instead. :)

What I would love to see would be a reverse version of this game, either where you are just in the postion, going through a dungeon but as the undead, or orcs, or dwarves, or monsters against humans choosing your race before hand with characters, or a complete reverse version where you make dungeons for the enemy to try to get through, to ulitametly fight the boss; you.

After getting to about level twenty eight I feel like I am unstoppable. Granted I am on easy and it was rather tough in the beginning but now with one or two hits with any of my characters the other team dies.... I love posion though <3
