I am stuck at Riftstorm Keep, Voidforge Workshops. I've already explored pretty much the entire floor, but only was bale to complete one of the three tasks, and the game says ther's a lot o unexplored areas and enemies alive, although they don't exist/I can't findd them.

And now I realize that its the game that's deleting my progress every time I quit it. Because I just tried switching to Armorgames.com and it does the same thing over there. I love this game, but it's incredibly annoying that it does this and I can't make it stop

my game is repeatedly resetting my characters to level 0 basic equipment. i tried the export and import save system to save it and it gave me an error saying that "the file was exported from a different kongregate." what the heck does that mean and how can i make this not happen a sixth time in a row. as much as i love this game, this is inexcusable. ive never had this occur so frequently. before it only did it if I didn't play it for more than a month and i still wouldnt lose this much progress as then it would at least keep the inventory.

I can't figure out what the save names are so i cant load them. Basically i was only able to finish chapter one due to this, and id love if someone could tell me.

Word of warning, don't try chapter 5 on Hardcore / Hardest difficulty. I did so, even set the thing to level 1 encounters, thought it would be a cake walk. It. Was. Not. The level 5 hardcore enemies were incredibly challenging, that campaign is long and difficult with many boss fights. Do it normally or you'll regret it.

If there's one thing I dislike about Monster's Den games, it's that I spend twice as much time comparing loot drops as I do in battle.

I always find it amusing how people compare things to FF when its inherently different in all ways barring the fundamental aspects of the genre. Not to mention that each FF plays differently, FF6 and FF13 have a very different gameplay style and feel..

1/5 game is just boring. combat is just "wait for your turn and click on something." not only do you deal with that, but the music is either non-existent or annoying because it loops. the combat feels very slow. there should be some animation skip or speed up button somewhere. also, i dont understand the title of this game. it says "monsters' den" but all im fighting are normal dudes and i feel kinda bad for messing them up for being in my way. 1/5 id say just stick with "final fantasy" or something.

Turn based games for Kong sucks because the graphs are awful and I have to watch a poor graphic game waiting and choose EVERY option. No way, it's too long. I am going to skip this one.

@Evernewb: I thought of how handy it would have been to sell from a chest directly too, but then I realised that an RPG is supposed to make sense. Basically, you can only carry out of the dungeon what fits in your bag (a representation of the bags of all your team members combined). As such, selling from the main game menu basically is a shortcut already from having to leave the dungeon, but that is what happens, of course. You probably lack the persuasion of getting a shopkeeper to tag along into a dungeon to buy stuff right from the chest you pull it out of ;-)

I upgraded the store several times in each section, but i still get only tier 1 items when i loot tier 3 items in dungeon. How can i get a better tier at the store?

whoops, badly worded comment: didn't mean that this game is bad, just that it could very easily be much better with 1 menu change. it's mostly good as a result of the old rpg staple of having enough interacting mechanics to keep the information flow category going. pretty well balanced mechanics too (though thorns/healing is still by far the most powerful methodology)

this game would be sooooooo much better with better inventory management tools, even just letting you sell from the new loot popup would cut down time spent working inventory by a good 80%, and that's assuming you can't quite remember what everyone has.
playflow, gameflow, and information flow are pretty much the most important parts of game design no matter what kind of game you are designing. you can be making a pong knockoff in text symbols and it'll be a good game if you succeed in those categories, but if you fail in them the best you can ever manage is to make the game shiny enough that people won't notice until they are committed and feel like they need to support it or look bad.

apparently having 2 clerics is a bad idea, and my bags are being packed full of consumables, and having conjuror, confessor, master-at-arms, and assassin worked really well for me, until I got the summon war golem ability.

the "95%" actually DOES miss about 30% of the time in the previous game, you actually get more accurate with a slight debuff on you, this one seems to play it pretty straight with the rolls though.

Huh, didn't realize I had already played, and gotten a badge. Hmmm... not sure it's worth the other half of the 15 points.

DISCLAIMER: before you play this game make your prayer and/or sacrifices to RNGesus. otherwise you will incur their wrath, and will be smited by missing a 95% probability 5 times, never getting a critical hit despite having a 35% chance, and/or getting terrible loot. and nobody wants terrible loot.

Game won't load on Chrome, any fixes, things I should do, or browsers it *does* work on for others with the same issue? Or is this just me?

I just wish I could get this on my phone, I've been playing it for years, even on other accounts before I forgot passwords and information growing up, I loved this series. Needs to be mobile. 3
