Played (Monsters Den : Book of dead) since i was a kid , just love this game, and this version is better ! , I sure do want that this game would be on steam and with new chapters , maybe new Characters and some upgrades. I would be ready to buy this game if it had a new chapter.

If you are new and are reading this this game is great don't doubt it! This needs to be added to steam or get a sequel! Upvote this to keep it alive!

Seriously though. Time for a sequel. Or... Can you put this game on STEAM? Maybe allow for a workshop and open source for ideas?

I miss the very very first version of this game, where you actually moved your characters space by space through the dungeon. It allowed for fights in hallways and strategic use of the space available. Now you just show up in a room and fight or don't, and most often you can't even move during the fight. Also, why are there 6 spaces if we're only allowed 4 characters at a time?

I really wish the looting mechanic was the same as the first game's. Why have me drag everything I want -one by one- and then discard, instead of just highlighting the items I want and discarding the others? Maybe it's because of the selling feature, but it still bothers me.

Please forgive me leaving a comment about game mechanics before finishing the game, but I wanted to say something while it was on my mind.
I really wish there was an ability to ask the shop (emporium) to hunt around for specific effects on gear - in exchange for a significant increase in price (i mean shoot, they know you want it now, the cat's out of the bag). I love building lifesteal on my characters in rpg games, that's why I always played as a vampire in skyrim- nothing is more powerful than something that can take a hit, then top off on health using it's enemies life force- and gear with vampirism is so rare here

Changed my rating to 4*. I have since found out that the 3rd level (on the first story) actually WAS overpowered. I just happened to have terrible luck with the random number generator that spawned that level for me. I went all the way back down, gained one level in the process, and just cleaned house the second time around, no losses. I don't believe a single level made that much of a difference. It was most definitely an issue of rolling a 1 on a d100. That kind of thing. Just freak randomness. I have had no problems since. I didn't give it a 5 because I feel there should be some way to prevent that kind of problem. No joke, I couldn't even kill half of one party the first time around.

Utter garbage. Standard difficulty and I couldn't win ANY battles on the third floor. Not sure if the battles were over powered or if I got completely "equipment-screwed". I've quit this version. Gave it a 1* rating.

I must say, this game is amazing. I've put in over 300 hours over four different machines. On a freaking flash game. Garin, you sure know how to make a masterpiece sir. P.S. Martyr's signet with apex forge. Dont even need a cleric. Every turn my warrior regains over 200 health. GET ON MY LEVEL TINY DEATH KNIGHT. MUHAHAHA

The game said it would automatically save my progress but it didn't :(. Really fun game, was working my way towards the hard badge, now everybody is back to level 1 and all my stuff is gone and such. Anything I can do about this?

I love this game and have played it over and over. But I had to share this story.
I'm writing this b/c I"m going through the third campaign, on the first floor when you have to find the prior company's bodies. As luck would have it, all of them were behind a locked door. And the last one was Reynard's: "There is a pervasive WRONGNESS about the scene..." the fact that all of the bodies were behind locked doors? EXTRA CREEPY.
Luck/coincidence? Most likely. Awesome? Most bleeping definitely.

Trying to insert some custom sprites, using the exact same image, one with transparency and one without. The one with transparency won't load but the one without will. How am I supposed to use custom sprites without transparency?

Have you tried equipping your warriors with lightweight heavy or medium armor? Being able to destroy the enemy before they even have a chance to deal damage is a powerful advantage.

I think being able to switch character stances instantly during battle is a bit overpowered. There's a stance best for starting the battle, like increasing quickness or resistances, and there are stances best for doing certain actions, like healing or dealing more damage.
I suggest stance changes being in effect the turn after they're chosen.

way too many items and it is too difficult/ takes too long to see how they help. especially at the beginning there should be less items and more likelihood of them being useful. i preferred the previous monster's den

cleric a must since they can cure conditions. rogue thief a must since it can remove terrain effect which greatly effecting. ranger marksman too a must since there's no harm in having another healer beside cleric. then mage - sorcerer too. mage conjurer is only good for summon golem. that is already 4. please add 1 place for warrior so 5.

permanently remove terrain effects is great.. is it possible to complete this without warrior? say I played this now reached campaign 4 (without warrior) but not sure if i can continue without using warior.

@Primalhunter, if you want to easily counter the fear from fearsowers, all you need is either a Captain or a Inquisitor (AKA Purify and/or Shrug It Off). Since I use both, I rarely, if ever have a member flee midfight.
