Check out garin's blog, Monstrum. There is a third game in the pipeline, Monster's Den:Godfall, although it has no release date yet. It looks fantastic, with lots of new content and great artwork. I'm still hooked on the original game, despite having made it to level 50 hardcore, because there's so many different character and weapon combos to try out. I'm not feeling impatient. It's well worth the wait. These games are superb.

Brilliant game, really enjoyable and interesting. Great character classes, skills, weapons, armour, etc. So many decisions to be made at every turn! I want to play this to the end before playing Book of Dread. 5/5 and favourite.

Don't forget that you can go down a level and revive all characters and restore health and power to full, once per level, with no penalty!

I just lost my hardcore game with a score of 19,905 and realized that I could not continue at the same level afterwards--what the hell is that?! Your game should not just end--now I have to start all over! Very stupid aspect of the game! And I was within 100 points of getting the hard badge!

nice game... Haahahahahahaha!! RATE:***
(quite difficult to get "Hardest of Core Badge", only ONE suggestion, when it nearly reached level 30 and above ... avoid the battles as much as possible.)

Using this team, i'm now at level 48 ... the first 3 levls were a little difficult, since it takes a while before the INT (and END to some degree) clerics to become powerful ... but since lvl 10, haven't had any charcters die during battles ... PROS to this team: reliable, keeps itselfhealed, low reliance on potions/shrines, high life/power regen, heavy armor ... CONS to this team: slow battles, need to grind through the entirety of the first 30-odd levels, very gear-dependent ... so far taken me about 6 hours to get to my current point ... and while slow to start, as the levels progress, it becomes faster ...

for the imposible badge, the surest way is to use 4 clerics ... a pure END cleric in the middle-front, 2 pure STR clerics on either side-front ... and a pure INT lceric at the middle-back ... all frontline unite should focus on speed/life regen/dmg/power regen in that order, and will serve as blockers and main dmg dealers ... the INT cleric at the back should focus on power regen/speed/increased healing/armor in that order ... the frontline units will be attacking using mostly fervour, and the cleric at the back should be pimarily keeping the whole team healed, and debuffing the enemies ... wen no healing/debuffing is needed, our INT cleric can dish some serious dmg with Litany of Pain ...

best way - 4 mages - two sword two staff - focus on str and end for sword and end and int for staff, focus on constant improvement of weapons with main focus on quickness for all four....good luck

here's a tip if people have any trouble keeping people alive: get a lot of damage reflection and life draining and when you get hit you'll only gain health because of the damage you do to the enemy

it's well made, but after a while it gets to be repetitive and slightly boring. i don't mean to be rude and i think it's a great game, just not my type . O.O

I wish there were some way a robot could do this while I sleep so I don't have to waste hours at a time doing this -_-

Reaper579... Shield Wall, in case your party's about to die, so your warrior can take a heckload of damage and your cleric heals :P

I like this game alot. Im not sure what it is though. Great combo though, is mage warrior cleric and rogue. Since the rogue can double as ranged, and takes all the leather instead of wasting it, i didnt get a ranger. also, i dont see the reasoning behind shields. the warrior can heal himself AND the cleric can too- so why would you need so much armor?

This game is so stupid. For some people this may be a great game but it just doesn't hold my attention. *Bring on the haters*

Reach level 50 Hardcore with:
Warrior(strenght), Cleric(strenght+endurace)
Mage(int), Ranger(dex)
Based in armor for first line and quickness for second. All players with at least 14%drain health

amazing. So many people have switched to making button mashers that some people (*cough* Sheldon2) don't realize a truly beautiful game when the see one.

nope ... went down a few more levels, and still no badge ... sent them a screenie of the drops equipped, not sure what else i was supposed to take a screenie of ... played easy through twice now, can't be bothered with a third time ...
anyone who's interested, i used a END cleric middle front, DEX rangers either side of the cleric, INT mage behind the cleric ... corruptor goes down in 1 round ... dunno if i killed him too quick, did that have anything to do with the medal not registering ... ? ... -_-

I can honestly say whatever team you have, it will get progressively easier in Infinity Mode as long as you equip the right stuff. Personally, I like to use lightweight stuff that has increased speed, or many items of +n speed, and some heavy items to protect. My entire team is flooded with 45% Reflection items (Rogue is at 305%!), and that's been helpful. Otherwise, all I can say is explore every room of every dungeon, and fight every battle to gain the Rest option, and try to fight the harder battles first (when you're at full health). Honestly the most enjoyable game ever, I can't find a dull moment in either of these games, which is why I enjoy it. 5/5, this game is unforgettable :)
