Well, just past level 16. Pretty fun little game while it lasted, has become too easy and repetitive now. Hail of Arrows with 30% lethality takes out almost every first shot, then the mage comes in with eletricity and finishes off the rest. Quickness and power replenishment is so high the bad guys never get to fire off a shot.
Anyways, as for party recommendations. I choose Warrior, Cleric, Ranger and Mage. Warrior quickly becomes useless so I would recommend 2x Rangers, a Mage and a Cleric for early level healing.

Hmm, I clicked the audio button and now the menu is stuck there and won't disappear. Is there a way to save my game without clicking the menu button?

Amazing game!! I just passed level 9 on hardcore with a warrior, mage, cleric and rogue.
The one thing I would change is the loot drops, there were so many, and I kept outgrowing all my cool purples.

"wtf warriors cant equip spears or axes. it says they can, wtf"
They CAN. But those are two-handed, so unequip your shield.
"for some odd reason, most mosters dont get killed. they just have 5 hp left or so….(thats why all my weaps got poison hehe)"
Not a bug, rather a perk. Just like that skill the warrior has.

AWESOME GAME.
Needs a "equip best" button tho. I really don't like checking each and every item's status T_T

Try randomizing what kind of mobs on which lv.
Because a cleric will rush by the first lv easily.
Have job specific weapons. So high lv/good staffs for mages only.
I also think that there should be somesort of reward for 100% clearing a lv.
Should be an explanation that to lv you just need to proceed to the next lv, and that there is no exp system, and that there is no cash so discard useless stuff, and that you get full replenish when lv-ing.
Although before the updates It went Undead, Creatures, Orge. Now it's Undead, Creatures, Human? I'm gonna keep playing. Excellent work!

Very simple, Very fun, Very worthwhile game... my only problem is the random enemy placement, which is fine, but its annoying when im trying to find some damned alter to heal my party, then i just end up getting wasted >_<

I haven't given up on the bugfixes. I'm getting a lot of reports of this error with the enemy only 'appearing' to be dead, which I'm pretty sure wasn't there before and I must have broken with something else. I'll have a fix as soon as I can.

Of course, one way to tell a game has good character classes is that everyone has their favorites and least favorites.

Eh I like warriors for having cleave. I combine that with kill and stun effects. I don't use any of their other skills. Hail of Arrows is way overpowered though.

This game is awesome! There is definitely a bit of strategy involved and the gameplay is pretty nice. I definitely hope to see a sequel here in the near future!

Weapon damage scales a bit too quickly, I think. By the time you hit level 20 or so, you can one shot an entire team. Also, Hail of Arrows is totally overpowered, given that it gives you two chances to apply effects to all enemies, and even poisons enemies twice.

1/5 - nice game, but it CRASHES THE BROWSER 100% repeatably in my save game with two dead chars if I press the help button.
Losing all my open windows 3 times in a row? Not playing this any more!

I agree with Malachi: Warrior's only good quality pretty much is that they can take slightly more hits than other classes, so you should make it so that the armor rating counts for a bit more. As it is, my warrior pretty much just stands there for the whole battle, dying. And listen to Oleoay, his ideassound pretty good. Still, 5/5. And yes, badges.

my favorite part is that you can make you and your friends, the only only problem i have, which is very small is that i wish there were more pictures for heads :p, 4.99/5 (5/5)

an amusing bug is that often if the enemies health is like 3 or under, their picture gets Xed out but they still fight and stuff.

Awesome game, rated 5/5. Wish there was a shop or something to buy/sell stuff at though. Also, rogues seem to be the best class and warriors seem worthless, there should be a little more balance between them.

Well, I'm on level 19. So, my overall game suggestions:
Add some more variety of monsters within each type, and more types. Especially, add monsters resistant to poison, stun, and instant kill.
Reduce the number of chests and the frequency of magic items in chests. That provides more incentive to fighting monsters and reduces the amount of time sorting through inventory.
Add some rare potions for variety. Something like a +1 Quickness or +1 Dexterity potion.
Make it possible to combine potions like the weak healing and weak power potion into a weak rejuvenation. That'll also help with inventory space. Maybe work up a similar system for combining potions and an item to make a magic item, or some such.

Oh... such goodness! Although, one thing I noticed that is kind of buggy: there are 6 slots for attacks, but no matter what I do, one of mine always gets bumped out so I only can have 5. :\
Still amazing though! :D

I think this might just be my favorite game on Kongregate. When I can't play Oblivion or NWN2, I get my RPG nerd fix here. This game needs many badges and a card!

Awesome game, 4/5 but will be 5/5 I think soon if you keep developing it. A few points for improvement: Experience should be based on what you kill, not just how far you walk, there have been levels where I need only kill 1 mob to reach the exit and still grab a good deal of loot along the way. Perhaps the required # of kills to level would be like... 6 - 10 less than the level holds. So that a smart adventurer could just level up before encountering the boss if they were smart in clearing the level. Thus rewarding their diligence. In this same line of thought, you could allow players to move freely between floors to pick up those exp points they may have skipped over the first time through. A good RPG will greatly reward those who actually try to finish and kill everything, not just skip by and lvl up because they walk down some stairs

Definitely a blast! Makes work fly by! heheh. Thanks for makin' this and can't wait to see anything related to this in the future. online multiplayer would be nice option in a sequel, but I"m loving the nostalgia of old school feel in there.
