Ah, I remember this one. Kind of funny that most of the newer comments don't acknowledge that this game came out in 2011 and was made by one guy.

With achievements you can upgrade your stats and you can get stronger and tougher. This is why this game would need saving achievements.

What this game needs is a save feature. It gets enormously frustrating when you die and have to fight your way from the beggining to your previous point again and again.
It could also do well with an indicator of the Big Hammer guy.
Collision of the enemies would be nice too, since I can't keep track of how many ninjas have spawned.
I really like this game: 4/5 stars

I love how like after I beat the master ninjas killed the big dude and unlocked inferno and killed everyone on the screen it said 0 seconds till master arrives lol I felt unbeatable so I let them kill me to save my score of 27653

I want to love this game, but I just do not get it. It seems like if I make it past the huge group of ninjas it is only out of luck. Maybe if there was a way to do manual counters? I don't know. In some ways it is too simple and it most ways it is too challenging. I gave it 3 stars because I seem to keep coming back to it, and I make it farther every time. But still. It seems to be missing something.

Yeah...Good game. But There were like 10 guys coming out at once
I leveled up as soon as that happened. Guess what? As soon as I exited the Skill Menu I was dead because they were attacking while I was getting as skill. And please, make the guy move faster. So my rating will be 4/5

An extremely badass game. The only problem I have is that there should be a mute button so I can listen to some Dragonforce while playing and not here every punch and chi sound in the background.

This is one of the best two-fighters-on-a-screen games I have played. The animation of striking kung fu poses displayed by simply holding space bar satisfies a deep boyhood desire in me. The combat system is extremely well-tuned and impressive; I found it challenging on many levels and the challenge persisted through many iterations of game play. I've never played anything quite like it, but I like it. It features technique-rich kung fu that reads like kung fu cinema but with the ease of pressing one or two buttons. The game rewards timing (@watcher_b) over holding the attack button down, particularly through the counter system, and it develops a theme of self mastery that resonates with the cultural and historical roots of Chinese kung fu. I repeat: this is one of the best fighting games I've ever played. Well done!

the intro animation is pretty good.
how a simple midi score and slugish graphics at front and a nice vga background could do something beautiful like this?
