It's okay, but has too much lag (on my computer anyway). It's a bit boring when you always have to restart at the beginning when you die.
Has potential though. :-)

Ah, I remember this one. Kind of funny that most of the newer comments don't acknowledge that this game came out in 2011 and was made by one guy.

Possible bug: Leveled up, immediately killed the next frame of the game, in spite of kicking all kinds of ass the moment before with an indefinite flame wall+limit break combo. Devs, please address.

It's on ok game but why is it so frustrating and dull? You do nothing but backflip/front roll until you hope you can get just one hit on one ninja before you start the flip/roll process all over again...if you just stand there you get gang mobbed and die in under a second.
Also if you're going to have 10+ enemies on the screen at once make the play area bigger so you're not flip/rolling into a corner ALL the time.
This game has it's good points--like the music and story--but being able to get mobbed WAY too easily, being only able to hit your enemies once after Level One (even if you hold down the spacebar) whereas they can hit you 5 times is rapid succession and your only actions are flipping/rolling and an occasional special skill takes all the fun out of it for me.

Wait a second..... So 0 seconds means two minutes, and my master waited till i died to come and save the day.... Pretty weird.

Once you have a few achievements, health regeneration and force field is all you need. I die more often getting instakilled comming out of the upgrade screen than I get any use out of any of those other abilities. I do not even like the counter attacks because they waste my force field time as I am trying to approach a tough baddie getting randomly stuck in a force field wasting kill animation. Also, wish I could drop knives. They build the white bar slower, so I cannot force field to guarantee a speed power up and instant kill a big bad.

This is one of the best two-fighters-on-a-screen games I have played. The animation of striking kung fu poses displayed by simply holding space bar satisfies a deep boyhood desire in me. The combat system is extremely well-tuned and impressive; I found it challenging on many levels and the challenge persisted through many iterations of game play. I've never played anything quite like it, but I like it. It features technique-rich kung fu that reads like kung fu cinema but with the ease of pressing one or two buttons. The game rewards timing (@watcher_b) over holding the attack button down, particularly through the counter system, and it develops a theme of self mastery that resonates with the cultural and historical roots of Chinese kung fu. I repeat: this is one of the best fighting games I've ever played. Well done!

I love how like after I beat the master ninjas killed the big dude and unlocked inferno and killed everyone on the screen it said 0 seconds till master arrives lol I felt unbeatable so I let them kill me to save my score of 27653

An extremely badass game. The only problem I have is that there should be a mute button so I can listen to some Dragonforce while playing and not here every punch and chi sound in the background.

This is a nice game, while being challeging (which adds to its fun factor), bit it really doesn't feel finished : no pause feature; no way to go back in the menu after having finished the game, the spell selection is seriously hard to use while in fight.
Furthermore, I'd like to see how your grandma is fighting.

I just LOVE a game that spawns an enemy practically INSIDE ME when I could die by a small gust of air going past my face. T_T
