for level 5 you need to lead it around the lake. then you edge out and touch the side while he is still busy circling.

great idea, awesome concept but there's a whole lot more to work on.
hint: lead the lakeshore guardian in the opposite direction before heading to shore, for level 5, lead it in a circle.

Thank you for comments and proposals!
The main idea for the game was a math problem about how to be the first at the lakeshore if the enemy's speed is 4 times higher than ours. It has a solution.
So, on level 5 the ration of speeds is 4, and I added 4 easier levels with the ratios of 3, 3.25, 3.5 and 3.75.

Great concept, could go a long way with enemy types, pond shape/size and/or potential missiles.
(Too those saying it's too hard, I'd certainly prefer it that way than any easier)

Each level seems the same except the bad guy moves faster. I can't seem to get past lvl 4. Lacks novelty after the first level or so.

I'd really love to say something positive and reassuring about this game. Sadly, I'm honest. Well done for a first published game but no special treatment for newbies in the ratings dept. If the guardian had momentum or some other foil-able with skill trick to get past him (past level 3 or so) then maybe you might have something here. As it is... Unwinnable means boring. Boring means bad. Better luck next time though!

I think this game has potential. The concept is new(maybe), the controls are easy, and it's entertaining while it lasts! Keep it up, add new enemies, features, improve graphics, etc. and you'll get a great game! I'll get you a 4/5 because of this. By the way, first!
