Pirates are trivially easy, but asteroids are utterly impossible to survive.
They just take far too many hits to destroy for the quantities that are thrown at you.

Very nice. Could do with a bit more mission types, and it would probably be a good thing if demand for products fluctuated a bit (made too-easy money going back and forth between Ares-6 and Walsh a bit). Oh and when pirates go bewm, the explosion are slightly underwhelming :) All in all pretty solid, 4/5.

needs a real storyline. it was pretty good until i maxed everything out, cuz there was nothing else to do. and i agree that travel takes too long.

does it make sense when he pod sends you back to the planet you were at when the planet your going to can LITERALLY BE SEEN FROM THE PIRATE ATTACK....which brings me also to the point that the little fighting sequences are impossibly difficult. it is almost impossible to line the bullets up with a weaving target, as there is little to no depth perception and the bullets take way to long to get to where the enemy is. the pirates pretty much have to be lined up toward you and firing to have any chance of inflicting significant damage.

from alpha 6 to walsh colony I would bring computers for a 20 credit gain the oppisite direction i would bring gems when you can afford them for a 19 credit gain

This game is way too slow.. Flying from one planet to another shouldn't take a full minute.. Gets rather boring pretty quick.

A good game but you need options of ships. The bad graphics kinda fit the game. Some things mussing... I cant think what...

you should add a thing for warfare when you get attacked you can dodge the enemy fire and make the planets more.. sociable not just one city you land on you know..... keep this one alive for good ideas

I sometimes like the static economy, and sometimes not. It allows one to build an easy mode of profit, but it also dullens the game. I mean, how can the Walsh Colony have an inexhaustible supply of metal? The prices should be dynamic to some extent.

its not working when its first loading it loads a screen saying SPACE but its right in the corner got any ideas anyone

chagrin: 27 level 4 and 5 planets=useless. They are not involved with the two special quests and have no special quests of their own. Either delete these planets or add special quests for the planets.

I've just come back, and nothing I can do makes it load. I see that someone recommended deleting cookies -- but won't that also mean that I start again from the beginning?

This is the best Elite-like flash game I've seen, even if it is unfinished right now. I hope the developer continues to work on it and adds new missions and features! Also, it would be nice if there was a way to skip all the animations and space flight between battles altogether.

I really liked this game. The travel takes long because you tend to get into battles/asteroid belts and get a chance to earn credits that way.

thx thegoodlocust for the idea with the zoom - i had to lower the zoom 2 levels down from default to see the start game button - zooming back to almost fullscreen and the startgame button still works.

Great instructions no keys, I tried clicking on screen, ppressing every key on keyboard, just cant find menu or get anything to work, just see a spaceship and a planet. How do you start it?

I thought it was silly how when traveling to a planet, it slowly moves closer to you, yet the stars in the background zoom past you. They're much further away so they really should appear to barely move.

It's a nice game. Just need a visual retouch. A control panel will be good design tweak instead of menu in every window.
