Refering to the challenge- You can't really "Submit your score", but if you refresh the page that the game is on, and youv'e completed the challenge, it will count as submitting your score. Hope this helps.

I'm amused by those who think this game is boring... when in fact, it has everything a good puzzler needs: unusual game mechanics, CHECK; simple gameplay, CHECK; varying levels of difficulty, CHECK; some reeeaaallly hard levels, CHECK; appropriate graphics and sound, CHECK CHECK!
it may not be your cup of tea, but it's truly an excellent game. 5/5

For level 10 you have to put the black orb in the holder at left. Then you take the white orb and go to the tree and drop it there. Wait for the platform to come from the right and let it go down once, then take the black orb from the moving platform , let it go once again down while you grab the white orb and put the white orb in the moving platform. Then you can go righ riding the light. after you get near the door get the orb from the platform and go to the door.

Comment Part 2 of 2: In 29 The phrase "I've had enough" signifies that the main character is giving up. In the BG of this level, you can see some interesting memories that she has had, and "I've had enough" is no longer lit, which could be a symbolic way of showing that maybe she isn't giving up. Finally, level 30, you find yourself in the bed. There are quite a few things that could lead you to different conclusions of this scene, but I cannot type all of them. But, the two main ones I found were: 1. You are waking up when you enter the door, with encouragement from your friends/family or 2. You're walking away from your body and family/friends telling you to awaken, and instead enter the door that kills you. That's all I have to say about this, sorry it's so long. P.S. 5/5 :)

Cleverly designed game, nice atmosphere, wish there was a pause and mute in general. Recommend the standalone version for best performance, was able to beat it through that.
Unfortunately the Kongregate version gets bogged down by the page, and a standard Firefox setup keeps losing progress, made it to level 24 on here before giving up on final trophy.
Save yourself the headache, get standalone version and play on one browser without clearing cookies until you are done.

i do like this game. i find it both intriguing and challenging. only thing i ask though, is a 'hint-through' (NOT A WALKTHROUGH - i want to figure it out mostly myself... i just get stuck at places. Some other (minor - mostly cosmetic) additions: volume control, and a clearer 'level #' definition.. otherwise, its a great game, and interesting concept! 5/5

I just noticed at the very end (where all the words are written on the walls) that the words "cake" and "lie" are right next to each other.

This game incorporates a quantum mechanism, which is rarely seen, but surprisingly effective. The idea of this mechanism is that if you can't see something, it doesn't exsist. It has been used in many games, such as Super Mario Galaxy. But what does SMG and this have in common? Both Brilliant Games. 5/5. Rate up if you want to see more games with the quantum mechanism!

Good game overall, only needed a walkthrough for Levels 24 and 29, and the rest were nicely challenging, but not frustrating, so 4/5 Stars from me. For people trying to completely beat the game, and not just get the Challenge Badge for a chance at a PS3 and The Darkness II, a complete guide to the game is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9ubvxvT6_g for Levels 1-20 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rclMSvjEciw for Levels 21-30.

This is very interesting. Reminds of a mix between Alone in the Dark (creepy aura) and the PSP game Echochrome (perspective ideas). 5/5

it's called brighetes day because in this game it's light that helps you and shadows are you enemy where as in the unfinished shadow game it's opposite, shadows help you and light hinders.

I had gotten to level 10 and had to restart my computer, and the stage select isn't working for me. (+) up bug report

is it just me or was the darkest night badge way easier to get then the badge for brightest day? (not meant as criticism toward either game both are great)

This game concept and atmosphere are very well done. I found it very difficult at some points, but it's a challenge i've enjoyed. Took me sometime in the start to figure out what the hell was going on, and i'm starting to think that this is the reason why it's so underrated... i think some players just left it after 2 tries and misunderstood the whole concept of the game.

Great game with original concept and wonderful atmospheric music, BUT the level select doesn't work and that is a huge problem, it forces you to either play the whole thing through at one sitting or restart each time you come back to it.

I noticed something after the first few levels and finally realized what it is. The character is a woman. Her hair is black, so you can't see it in a dark background.

It's an interesting concept that I have not seen before. The execution is decent, but not perfect: the controls are a little finicky. I've had to restart levels a few times because jumping across the maximal distance that it is possible to jump over did not work right. Still, the idea is new and good so 5/5.

To those stuck on level 10: Take the constant light, put the motion-sensitive light in the holder. Rush over to the moving holder and quickly switch the two. Follow the light back to the door.
