Wow this game sucks. I am stuck at mission 2. The one where you start with TWO whole troops, not enough to beat any of the territories around you. Meanwhile the baddies start with TWELVE FRIGGIN TROOPS and make a beeline right at you, crushing all opposition. Then you lose.

The game is heavily unbalanced, the computer has a high level of artificial resources, enough so that they can defeat any attack by simply buying enough, even though it should be impossible for them to get the number of troops that they do. Humans also seem weaker then the orcs which seems a little silly considering human troops cost more. 2/5

Could be a 5/5 but for me it's a 3/5, fixing the control battle problem, adding upgrades and achiviements or something like this will make this game some much better

I don't like how you can only build units if you have the specific unit building. More units and buildings would improve this game a lot. 4/5

I'd really appreciate the ability to either set my troops before battle or pause to give them orders. Trying to organize an army while it's advancing out of my control is annoying, especially when you get above 6 or so squads.

for dwarves once you can get dragons and have an income of 600 or more its easy since the dragons almost never die cuz of there high health and they do massive damage with there fire breath

Kind of addictive, and an underrepresented genre, but ultimately has a lot of flaws. I see most of them addressed in the high-rated comments, but something I noticed is a big problem with the AI. They will continually attack neutral territories with too few troops to kill even one unit. This is especially a problem versus higher-end units such as dragons. I'm on the last southern hemisphere level as dwarves, and the humans keep attacking five dragons with three stacks, losing every time and never trying the numerous other neutral hexes. Pretty laughable.

I thought this game was pretty sweet. Like the other posts, it gets really repetitive, and there are a few bugs I came across, namely, I sent 5 knight groups into a neutral territory with minimal defenders, I killed 0 people, all my guys were wiped out, yet when it got back to the map screen, they had no guys defending anymore. Next round I threw 5 more knights at it only to be completely wiped out by no one.

Same as some of the other comments good start into the game got potential, needs a upgrade to it for each unit to add different stratergies + a few different map only structures that could add bonuses for controling

Doesn't matter how many games I play, there's always some blatantly obvious spelling error. Usually, as is this case, the failure to differentiate between 'lose' and 'loose'.

I would like to see upgradable units with differing abilites. upgradable defensive units. I would like harder enemies and veterans of multiple battles have a veteran status.

The Sandbox mode could use improvements, such as being able to choose the number of tiles, and the amount of enemies
Also you could add a map maker which would rock

Terribly overpowered towards ranged units. Im dwarves and my army of dragons grenadiers and gargoyles is chopped down by 7 demons units. I mean what the hell?!?!? Dragons die from the weakest units in the game?!?!

This is the exact same thing level after level. No new units, tiles, strategies, or anything... the odds just get slightly longer each time. There doesn't seem to be any reason to build anything other than the basic unit. Boring beyond belief. Was this polished at all before release?

Battles need to be puased. I can't catch up with how fast the battle gose, theres no point into controlling your units if they all battle automatically and you cannot puase... lame
