It seems weird that the most expensive upgrade, which will be the last for most, is an upgrade giving you more money. Otherwise, decent, except for steering issues. 3/5

Two things are bad: 1.You can go on forever after upradging your ship and flag to the max(whales, mines, seagulls give you a big boost), it makes the islands totally useless. 2. Turning mechanic. Since the way is long, it is too punishing and unbalanced.

Very challenging! Finally a good launch game to where I actually have to have extreme focus! 4.4/5 (it does get a bit annoying having to go back and forth to keep him straight =) )

It would be a lot easier to do if when i click on the next day I didn't launch before i even had a chance to move my finger off the mouse, much less even see the cannon to set my angle.

Day 35: I still cannot reach the elusive X. It seems every time I get close, I get so excited that I tip my ship over. Haven't invested in a life jacket yet, but I can almost taste the treasure!

This game is pretty punishing. It's a LONG way to travel to the X, and even with a maxed out ship, a bit too easy to accidentally turn too far and lose your run. Plus, there simply aren't enough upgrades available. Maybe if your progress kept between launches this distance wouldn't be too bad, but as it stands, it's too far to go in one run. (Mind you, I did it in 33 days even w/o a maxed out ship, but there were a lot of runs that SHOULD have gone a lot further.)

Fully upgraded and giving up... treasure shmeashure I say! I've already purchased 4 pirates of me own! Blow the man down, Blow the man down... *ahem* maybe that sailor song doesn't fit well there lol

Why, with even a maxed out wheel upgrade, does this game's controls behave like some of the worst motocross games on this site? Rotation is slow to start and out of control once it gets going. To hell with the obstacles the developer bothered to put in the game like islands and sharks; they barely slow me. It's the poor controls that sink me every time.
