Overall a really fun defense game; the scorpion is really powerful in the early game up to around wave 35, and even then with a mid-level assistant it'll do well enough. At around wave 47, you can max out the Steyr Aug, RAGE, and your assistant which is more than enough to complete the game. The rage makes the minigun nearly obsolete combined with the quick reload time and decent clip size of the Aug once maxed. Still really fun though! Minigun is useful for wave 59 & 60; so it's not completely useless.

@CavalierAmelia that seems to be a problem on your computer as I did not experience that at any time during the game and I stuck around to beat the entire thing for the hard badge.

Responsiveness was bad on this one. Couldn't even move my cursor and shoot at the same time. Sometimes the gun would expend bullets well after I stopped clicking.

For everyone struggling with the BotD:
Collect money from the first 5 waves without upgrading your weapons , only buy Rage from the extra tab and the shop and also Fortify Motel and then don't shoot and let the bunnies attack the base in wave 6. You should build up enough rage to trigger the extra and get the badge after the wave.

JRBaune. It all matters on when you buy your upgrades. I just recently finished it today and this is what I did:
Wave 1-10 Don't buy any pistol upgrades, the colt unupgraded works fine for a long time, then rush scavengers to 2, around wave 7-9 you'll wanna pick up the Mac 10.
11-20: Keep rushing scavengers and mac 10 upgrades, give 1 assistant upgrade so he has the 2nd pistol. Make sure to save on wave 20 because super bunny at times can be difficult.
21-30: You should have scavengers 4 or 5 by now, save up for the m16, max out the m16 and scavengers, give the assistant another upgrade.
31-40: Grab the minigun and max it out, then just slowly max out every other upgrade.
41-60: Minigun carries you quite well as long you can manage it's heat, buy grenades if needed and save often.

okay, I suppose I should've waited a bit before giving up and ranting, I lost once on wave 24, not 30. It's still reasonably difficult. I like it but I hate it at the same time.

I really hate myself right now. I keep hearing people say it's not that hard but I can't even get to wave 30 FML. Do I seriously suck that much at games?

To be honest, I don't think this game deserves a 'hard' badge - it's reasonably fun, but I don't really think this game was difficult to complete.

This is a really, really good game, and I must say I'm a HUGE fan of Wasted Youth (and have been really taking my sweet time with everything in Part 1), but if there's just one thing I might say negatively about this game, it's the significant mouse lag that occurs right in the middle of a wave. It may be from my end, but I believed that I had updated Firefox. Anyway, that's my two cents, but this is a really good game, and I especially love the cut scenes!
