Developer Updates
For those using Internet Explorer having trouble moving (delayed keyboard reactions / sticky keys), please try the game in Chrome or Firefox. Otherwise, try the following fix:
Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab -> uncheck protected mode.
Or if you donโt want decreased security, try the alternative fix posted here: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/7-technical-support/topics/67250-fix-for-keys-sticking-in-games-in-internet-explorer.
This seems to be a specific known issue with Internet Explorer with intensive flash games.
SAVE FILES
With the save system we set up you can play Wasted Youth on any site and your save games will carry over.
If you find that your save game is gone, it is not something we did. We have not and will never need to wipe saves when performing updates.
You need to check your own system.

I unknowingly put my name as Dave, which made future conversations extremely awkward...
Dave: Hey Dave
Dave: Hey Dave, let's go to the dormitory.
Dave: Sure.

Spinelesscoward I agree. I'd add I think that our character is schizophrenic and Dave is part of his mania. I even wondered if Dave was responsible for the missing kids. The bit where he asks if we want to take revenge and 'kill them all'... He has a handwriting test but it could easily be ours written when we were having an 'episode'. Its a school for messed up kids and yet we seem reasonably normal and Dave also claims to be normal... Sounds fishy to me!

I'm pretty sure that either Dave is a ghost, or the character in the story is crazy and Dave is a figment of his imagination (as in Fight Club for exemple): First of all, sometimes during the day you can see Dave out of the dormitory and if you talk to him he says that he is ignored by everyone and that nobody talks to him. Second, the night when you and Nate go take pictures of the girls, the character asks "Can Dave come?" and Nate replies "Who?" when he is clearly standing right next to him. Third, he isn't listed in the computer database of student (He should be between Casey and Daria), and lastly, he does not have a locker... The one where it should be (between Chris and Eugene) has its name scratched and isn't used.
