controls are very unintuitive, there shud be both arrow keys and wsad, anyways, the attack while cloaked is superb, no wonder the Romulan Star Empire rocks still today

Pretty good, but not really what I expected after the first one. The controls are a bit finicky. Jumping is stiff while running has a bit of slip which is awful when needing to super precise on jumps to tiny platforms. Being extremely unforgiving is fine, but I don't need to sit there and watch my dude be dead for several seconds after every death. I know I screwed up well before I actually die in most cases. Having to mash space to 'fight' is a step back from the original and kinda pointless since it doesn't add anything to the gameplay.

What happened here? I just played the first part, because it was the Badge of the Day, and found this, and all the fun has been sucked out by the terrible controls. Always went ahead and bought it on the strength of liking the first, but now? I think not.

if the game was controlled by the arrow keys, it would of felt more natural... control key should of stayed the stealth button... and holding the space bar should of continued my attack instead of me having to mash the key... why change the controls from the original? That's like playing super mario 1 and then playing super mario 2 but instead of the directional pad to move you use the 4 buttons instead (super snes).

Here a duck key, We'll include this in the tutorial because your not gonna be using it any where else, Rather unsettling killing noises, personal gripe there though. Then precision jumping with a character who has ice skates for feet. No thank you, BOOM THIS IS A DEMO, While there was no good indication im kind of greatful that I dont have to suffer what could be and what had been makes me not care enough about what could of been.

Loved the game. Even if those platforms are REALLY ( or not ) hard, its still an good game. If you think that ruined the game, i bet you didnt even try.

Guys, I'm fairly certain that this is not the same developer as the first game, hence the completely different atmosphere and subpar gameplay. Dont hate the developer, hate the ripoff lol

I loved. LOVED the first one but now the control scheme is complete crap. I could have forgiven the slippery floors everywhere but there isn't a way to go back to the original controls.

After reading the comments and realising that this is only a demo, i freaking picked up my laptop and threw it across my room. The first part was great, but this? This. Is. Shit. This doesn't even deserve a 1/5.

I had to view a Let's Play on YouTube to discover that I had to hold down and jump to make it over the first big pit, which of course isn't mentioned at all in the description, the instructions, OR in game even though it has tutorials for every single other maneuver you need to do. Also, telling us to buy the game as soon as we get to the boss? Bite me. At least let us fight/beat the boss first and THEN tell us to buy it. It would also be nice if you let us know up front that this was only a demo. 1/5.

Oh dang, it's a demo. But, still I can't believe there actually was a sequel. This was one of my first favorite games on Kongregate, I was in hope of that sequel for so so too too long. You should've done a bit more advertising on your old game, and probably used your old account. I was playing the first again because it is the Badge Of The Day game, but had to drop that, as I'm playing through this demo now :)

Let's get one thing straight here: The gameplay is actually trash. The controls suck, to the point were even the game tries to put you out of your misery, the levels are annoying and they don't even correspond to the plot. How did I go from science and werewolves to ancient and boring? And the traps are so pointless. Got me excited for nothing but trash.

I'm all for being challenged by a game, particularly a platformer, but this went on a little too long for anyone's taste. The controls were really slippery, and I could not get the alternates to work for the life of me. The enemy design was like the first, and took long enough to make you use your attacks carefully, which was a good point. But the majority of this demo was avoiding traps and obstacles, which is not at all reminiscent of the wolf-dominated land that the description led me to believe. Lastly, the demo ends at the beginning of a boss fight, which is extremely disappointing. I might have tried it out on Steam, if I were sure that the game wasn't going to be a series of near-impossible pitfalls.

Let's count out the many ways this game lies to us, shall we? [1] I couldn't get the IJKL button map to work at all. [2] Having to tap Space in order to kill enemies is tedious and, in quite a few cases, just won't work as the game drops inputs at random. [3] The visuals are so disgustingly small and dark that I can barely make anything out. [4] The old physics engine is completely out the window, further removing any familiarity from the first game. [5] The old game had a tough but fair level design; this game just has you traversing gauntlets of traps and obstacles that seemingly go on forever. [6] Pixel-perfect platforming plus slippery aerial controls equals an infuriating experience for everyone. [7] You're not even going to let us try the boss? At least have the decency to tell us this is a demo version. I liked VDVP1, loved it enough to make it a favorite of mine... but this? If this is any indication of what the full game on Steam is like, I'm keeping my $3.29 CAD.
