please allow us to switch between world and map and vis versa without forcing us to wait until our trimps die or map is complete

This is a great new addition to the idle game category, I would give the later game Coordination upgrades a look at, perhaps changing it to a percentage rather than just doubling it every time. Trying to get up to a decent housing to match it is just so difficult and it makes me just want to throw all my resources into making better weaponry instead.

I'm seeing my big slowdown around world thirteen or so. I'm still steamrolling most everything, but I'm currently at World 15 and I've still only got Coordination 10. I just can't get it upgraded because of the population limit. And the Hotels are getting really expensive.

i would love to see if you could get another creature to help in battle im only on the 5th world and you probly already did but who know

Glitch... if you shut down the browser and re-open, all your available upgrades are gone and it says your trimps are at 1.

The trainers and gyms don't scale enough with enemy damage :\ Things are hitting for multiple sextillions and I'm only blocking a few trillion, even with all the Trimps as trainers and buying as many gyms as possible. (~world 24)

Great game but the rewards throught the worlds could scale a little better as my costs are extremely high but the world isnt providing much help with that.

Agree with a few others - it is fun for a while then quickly becomes very boring - at the point now where I can't beat maps that have any value and the world map is too advanced for me, so I could basically let the game sit for days on end, build a few more houses for more imps so I can add a few more jobs - yawn... sorry, not enough to keep me entertained over the long run. A few suggestions: Trading of resources - I always have a ton of food and not nearly enough wood, or I have a ton of metal from the maps but not enough to use for upgrades when I could use it as wood and get somewhere. Even if it's maybe only a 1:3 ratio for trades, it would still be helpful.
Secondly, as someone else also mentioned, the game does not scale properly. For some reason, I'm trying to get level 8 of cooperation and it's telling me I need to expand my territory more? How can I when I can't even afford to buy any houses unless I let the game sit for a very extended period of time?

IF your going to reset it. Maybe be like the Other Idle games and have a Perm Upgrade system that you can get with only reseting the game.

The game was fun at first, but it got boring. Not everything scales at the same speed, this causes certain things to become irrelevant as time goes on. First your own work becomes worthless compared to the Trimps. Then your trimps work becomes worthless compared to the loot. So their is nothing left tot he game except clearing maps.

How about something to speed up battle? When you are running a low tier map, it's kind of tedious to wait for every tick. Don't adjust the influx of anything else, just the battle speed
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Don't know what to say about it. There are too many player required actions for this to work as an idle game and it's too slow to work as anything else. I'm not going to rate it yet.

Please could someone explain, on world 50, I'm about 30% through, the stats show the enemies max damage is 90 Qad and my troops have health of 500 Qad, so how are they one hitting me?

About an hour in, and everything seems good so far. A few thoughts though, Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like there aren't very many options for using the food resource. Also it seems odd that you spend units from a given resource to speed up your collection of the same resource. It would make a little more sense if you had to spend other resources to improve collection of one, otherwise you are just setting your own acquisition of that resource back.
Overall great job!

Part II: The only way I got so far in worlds was to run the maps for the two upgrades, max the new items to whatever resources I've got, run a single new world, and repeat with the new level maps. One without the other lead to a stalemate very quickly, so idle progress was non-existent. Late game could also use a multiple buy option as the upgraded item costs and building upgrade costs start to fall behind the curve around world 25 or 30 and one has to buy about a hundred upgrades to bring things up. For an early build it's got a lot more content and playability than most idle games out there. I look forward to what you do with this game and can't wait to see what v1.0 will look like!

Warning! This is going to be a lot of late game balance stats and opinions! Part I: Finally hit a dead end on world 49. It's a great game and I've been enjoying playing it, but the balance gets way off past about world 15. Right now workers produce 1x10^18/sec, but I get about 1x10^42 in drops from the world, which is about what each upgrade costs right now. The coordination upgrade stopped being useful around 17, and am currently sitting at 18 with 29 waiting upgrades, and about 500k trimps, but the next coordination is a long ways off with housing so expensive. The maps are great and provide a great break from the world map, but only getting gems and metal is very limiting.

Hey I'd like if you can change the map colours after you have visited them. Sometimes I wouldn't play for a while and then I come back and I can't remember which ones I've been to.

Hmm.... thinking about the food and lumber on the map - perhaps it'd be better to keep only 1 resuorce on the map, but then make different maps give different resources (so you cn run a map over and over to catch up with a resource you maybe misestimated your need for) -- like "forest" or "woods" maps would have lumber. "Plains", or "Farm" would have food. "Mountain" or "Mines" could have metal. "Lab" or "Library" could have research. Etc. Even better, have the different maps have different blends of materials, woods might have a little food (trapping animals, finding berries, etc) and alot of lumber. Forest on the other hand might have a more even blend, etc... Anyways, just something to consider.

Another scaling issue: Those "free 5 population capacity squares" on the world map (gift looking icon) probably need to have the amount increased as the maps go... when I have a population cap of 42k, adding 5 seems kind of a waste....

When you go to another map, there is a bug making the screen longer. You have to scroll ingame to see all the levels of the map, where normally they are the same size as the tiles in Microsoft Excel they increase and become about twice the height... it's a bit annoying ;)

Came back after 3 days, still stuck at lvl 50. While I really like this game and I'm rooting for it, the dev needs to realize that once folks leave an idle game, they rarely come back.
Sorry. I didn't expect the game to get as popular as it did, I should have waited until it was finished to post it. I posted it here just hoping for a little feedback, not looking to take over the world! Since I posted the game 1 week ago, I have spent nearly all my free time and most of the time I would normally sleep working on my development version trying to get the balance stable and all of the bugs worked out. It should be ready by this weekend, and the patch notes for the stuff I've already finished are on the Trimps forums here on Kong.

How about a global '1 click is 100' so you can buy multiple traps, buildings, weapons etc. Of course also make other numbers than just 100.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm doing the math, and it would take me several lifetimes to even start to fill my storage spaces, I have to get far too much food to make new workers, and the combat has been hitting a wall. This game is awesome, but realistically achievable progression could be worked on.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, instead of making the number employ-able fixed at half the population, it should be full population - number in army... so it's up to the player to decide if they want more of their Trimps in the army, or working. The coordination upgrades would require that current workers + new army size is less than total population.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, since metal is found on maps (which can be run over and over to farm it) armor is extremely easy to get hold of and use, whereas trainer imps require the VASTLY more scarce and valuable food resource, and gyms the also more valuable lumber resource (which are both limited in supply due to their only being present on the world map) -- so armor is definitely the way to go...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, blocking doesn't keep up at all - in fact, I stopped buying Gyms and trainer Trimps around map 20 - currently, with roughly 300 Gyms, and 4000 Trainer Trimps, the block amount is 46.8T, but enemies are doing around 2 Dc damage... Needless to say, block is never going to catch up to that. Armor on the other hand continues to scale, and so HP are the only defense - well, and lots of breeder Trimps...

Bugger - don't know what happened with my comment - 12k farmers producing 103T food/sec -- cost for another 100 (less than 1 percent, or 1T / sec) is 63.5 Oc or roughly 10^15 times greater (working out to requiring 30k+ YEARS to pay for themselves -- and the doubling technology won't make that less than a day for another 24 maps)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
PS: I'm currently on world 35, and have 36k/205k employed, and 374k breeders (410k max Trimps)
Side note: I have 374k breeders, but can't increase my army size to 262k (despite having 16 such upgrades discovered, and plenty of free Trimps) due to the limitation based on potential workers. See above for why I'll NEVER be using anywhere near my worker capacity...
