To the creator: I read ALL the pages, went though all the endings and posible stories... Im a writer myself, i think you did a wonderfull job and it's really deep content. But i think some of the endings need a little bit more. Congratulations and great work!
Thanks! I know some of the endings should go a bit further, but the honest explanation for that is that I just couldn't think of anything more to happen. There was an earlier version with only 20 endings, and the hospital path used to end before you go to the City of Gods area. So I did add and expand things as I got new ideas, but eventually the well ran dry!
You could at least imagine having sex, if that's what you want. And if you're spending an eternity with nothing but one other person and your own thoughts, then the boundary between reality and imagination might start to get blurry...

I was maybe reaching too hard for a Breaking Bad reference with that line... There are lots of stupid little references everywhere in the story. At one point I decided that instead of removing them, I would just add a dialogue option for Angela where she rants about how stupid it is to use random little references.

I would like to get all the endings, but at the same time I'm often just too incapable of making my fictional avatar do the things required to get them. It was already difficult enough gritting my teeth and telling other me to call the police (I've seen movies before, I'm not stupid), now you're expecting me to grab the parachute and let the otter and kitty (and I guess the hot chick) die? I can't do this man, I'm still recovering from having to publicly admit to wanting to read victoria's secret. It's too much pressure!

Greg, All I can say is that When I saw that thumbnail (As in art) and that it was created by you, i just shut down my computer. It was way to late for this game and I just had to wait for a weekend. Long story Short: Weekend well spent.

I always worry that anything featuring religious characters is going to be preachy. 5/5 for being a nice, secular, and just plain enjoyable read. :)

Unfortunately, as with a lot of detailed CYOA, there are paths that never really explain anything, and so choices tend to make little sense. I don't want to ruin anything but Home-Bar-Hospital-???-City can get you to top endings with very little story/explanation.
It's really tough to avoid, just unlucky it happened on my first play.

Fantastic game, the easy navigation is great, I love not having to go through a whole big process just to see the alternative progress, and the story is so immersive and full, I see why it took you half of your life. The ending numbers were kind of skewed in my opinion (since the opening screens said lower were more complete), but that matters little, and the game itself is a great text adventure.

So glad that I took some philosophy classes before I played this game. I could see you drew a lot from 'God is dead' and 'The Problem of Evil'. But I just want to suggest that you add more philosophical arguments for God and Faith to use, rather than have them simply saying "let's kill all humans/atheists" etc. There were a few great philosophers that were Deists and you could draw from their works. I'm not a Christian supporter but I'm just saying that letting the opponent put up a better fight makes winning the debate more fulfilling.
Thanks for the feedback! You're absolutely right that this is totally one-sided. I am actually flattered that you're drawing philosophical concepts from the story, since my only real goal was just to entertain the reader and maybe slip in some atheist propaganda along the way. I wrote a more direct, honest discussion of whether God exists at we-are-1.net. My conclusion, which I still believe, is that God is everyone and everything, though there is no anthropomorphic bearded man in the sky judging our behavior and manipulating our society. I suppose you could call this pantheism, though I'd take it a step further and also assert that we're all experiencing our own unique subjective fragments of the same infinite consciousness, which might be closer to what most people think when they imagine God. But God is us, not something separate from us. That's my view, anyway -- always seek the truth for yourself!

I got ending 13 first. Gotta say it was interesting. I would argue with everybody in this story, a lot, but it was interesting.
Yeah, the only "real ending" is getting a bunch of different endings and piecing it all together. No single ending is really all that complete just on its own.

After Going through all the endings I finally read up on all the possible evil you could be in the evil quiz.

Plants don't have conscience, nor fell pain, they don't have brain. Not hurting vertebrates is the point of the vegan filosofy.
Yeah, I certainly didn't intend to imply that eating plants is immoral. The point is just that the rest of the universe considers it immoral, and they're imposing this standard on our entire planet with sweeping judgment. The ending where you go to the bunny planet shows Faith pointing out that the distinction is arbitrary and judgmental.
Thanks! That part was meant to be unexplained because it is a real weather phenomenon that is difficult to explain. I mostly just wanted to show that even God was confused by it.

Take no offense... It's great that you've enjoyed working on this and decided to write it for so long, but there are many things that you should've worked a lot more on. I'm not going to get too clinical or precise about it since it's just a comment, but I guess that if you dedicated so much time to something then you must probably care about it. Anyway, try getting some writing classes, read more books, there's no way this story could be interesting "as it is" outside this choose your own adventure format, in a flash games site. Good luck to you tho, and I do hope you get better at this if you really want to.
Thanks for the feedback! This was definitely written for the format. I understand that the writing style wouldn't work as a normal novel. I put a lot of effort into making it as short and concise as possible because that's what the format requires. I should say that this is inspired by previous drafts more than anything else. For example, in the previous non-interactive draft, Faith was actually 3 different characters, but I just consolidated as much as possible to make it into an interactive game with as little text as possible. I also realize that my writing style is pretty dry; I don't really attempt the super flowery artsy language style because I'm not good enough to pull it off. Anyway, please feel free to send me a private message if you have more specific advice or feedback!

I got all 25 endings, read every single piece of text... but I still don't understand exactly why the you're immortal.
You're not immortal; you just keep getting reincarnated, and at some point during your lives you recover the memories of who you are. I wanted to set it up so that anyone could fit this profile. Who knows what you'll remember about yourself tomorrow!
