yesssss made it through without losing anyone!
some tips:
-food is irrelevant. don't bother with it.
-make enough vaccines to heal your team if needed, and keep up that stock. If you use one, make another.
-YOU CAN NOT SURVIVE IF YOU LET THE FIRE GO OUT AND END THE DAY.
-Use the dog to hunt (if you seriously must--remember, food is irrelevant). The bullets will be needed for defense. If you get down to under 4 bullets, destroy the robot (you can use its' batteries as bullets)
-Keep the morale up as much as possible. I you do not have all 5 points (to use on a group therapy session), then you need to talk to them to stop them from shaking
-The order of the 'inform' is Soldier (far left), Doctor (the smoking guy), Psychiatrist (woman) and the Engineer (second to the right)
There are a few more tips but my memory evades me. + so people can see this easily

In my first try I've had to kill somebody in order to survive. I've gained meat by killing human... that's sick but necessary. Poor Engineer.

- Always use dog to hunt.
- When fireplace burns out — add wood and successfully hunt once.
- Keep morale above 2.
- Repair radio to 51/50 with Engineer ASAP.
- If someone isn't moving — cure them immediately and, if there is no more medicine in stock — make more.
- If the fireplace is lit and no one is infected — spend the day on group therapy.
- Waste no more effort than needed to follow this guide exactly.

You have a nice and interesting game but my only complaint is the fact that the characters refer to each other by name but you only see their job when looking at them so I have no idea who has a relationship with who, Perhaps this could be fixed by having it say something like Sarah (psychiatrist) showing both the name and job of a character.

Great game liked it found it challenging, I hope there is a second one or something similar to it cause like these kind of games

it loads 7/8 of the way then stops. Been trying repeatedly on different sites and have waited 45 minutes for the game to load. Nothing.

Easy.... Focus on repairing radio and making medicine first. Then never have more than a days worth of rations on site; and just regulate the fire, sending marvin out for food (not the soldier), group therapy, and talking to the people helps. They can survive a few days without food. constantly check to see if anyone is sick. once I had 9 meds, the doctor died, but i didnt need more than 4 of them to survive...

Here's a good strategy- One day you will repair the radio, hunt for food, cure others and put more wood in the fire etc. The next day you will need to use the psychiatrist to boost everyone's moral. The next day you repeat the first day (cure others and etc) and follow the exact same pattern. DO NOT do more actions than once, unless you have extras.

For those who are struggling: checking food, ammo, medicine, the radio, petting Marvin, requesting inform and watching the fire do not take up an action point. If you hear a howl, then that means that the camp will be attacked that night. The number of action points = the number of humans alive - the number of humans infected. People don't seem to die of starvation BUT their morale drops very quickly when they're hungry. Everyone (including Marvin and yourself) except BR4ND-ON consumes 1 stock of food per night.

What's the point of a psycologist who just sits there until you tell them to work? Why does the hunter just sit there until you tell him to go hunt? why is it that these characters are so mentally unstable they are completely helpless that unless you talk to them all day long they become depressed and die? The game concept is good, but the implementation is ridiculous.

So, on my first successful attempt, after fixing the radio, I killed all humans except the doctor to eat their delicious meat. "I expect from you that in case of an emergency the dog will fall before a human... Am I right?" Quit trying to make me feal guilty!

I think the soldier lied about the importance of food so he and his dog would seem usefull, and I wouldn't let them die.

Liked the game, but it becomes a lot easier once you realise that you don't actually need food at all... just let it run out and nothing bad happens.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is bullshit! Instead of catching food or maintaining fire, I have to do psychotherapy all the time. So folks, when you shipwreck somewhere, screw the food or bullets, you need lots of psychotherapy!

My god, it was going so well at day 20. Then suddenly the girl goes mad and runs and the whole morale of the group goes down like a rock. Radio was fixed and plenty of food and ammo, but everyone is dead..

I love this game! It's just punishingly hard. That's ok tho. The difficulty matches with the old school style of graphics and puzzle. A gem of a game not to be missed. It's a shame people will be turned off by the difficulty and from dying on the first night (light a fire people!)

Sorry guys, this was a Ludum Dare entry and didn't think that reloading the page will suppose so much pain. No one complaint until now. We are not interested on harvesting pageviews, just you enjoying the game. I'll check if I can make a quick fix for that. Sorry for the invonvenience.

So... there are all kinds of little pitfalls you don't bother to tell us (like needing to waste actions on keeping the fire lit), and you expect us to refresh the page to give you more pageviews every single attempt? Yeah, forget this.
Ok, I fixed that. Sorry for the inconvenience, really wasn't our purpose to gain pageviews. About bothering to tell you about the pitfalls... I'm sorry, but the game intends to be a trial and error puzzle type.
