The numbers issue is annoying, I have 0.66k PSI and I need 660 for next indestructible upgrade, but I can't but it for some reason. The switch between 0.00k and actual numbers is far too distracting. I'm sad to say this as I want content and not fixes. http://prntscr.com/nqorx4
Terribly sorry about this. I'd like to make content too! But I will have a fix for this, and other issues, in under an hour or so. After that, it should be the last thing I need to fix before I move on to some new content.

Why does it toggle how the numbers are displayed whenever he hits his head? Like it goes from 140 Anger to .14k Anger. It's kind of annoying because it makes it hard to read when it keeps flipping back and forth.

@gun safety game should state hold down left shift key to rebirth instead of hold down shift key as the right key does nothing when you hold it down only the left one works.

Is there any way to get past floor 23 currently? I do 0.00-0.01% even with criticals and there aren't any unlocks or a huge PSI reward that can help.
PSI crush seems to be the only useful upgrade at this point, since it's the only one multiplicative besides the nearly useless rockets, but the next point costs 1.16K, and that's way too much grind for just a double damage upgrade.
Nice concept, with an improved balance it could be quite good. I would have liked speed to scale more slowly so the challenge would be first reaching the floor and then breaking it and being able to enjoy going up and down faster each time, rather than the current instant up and die from the very beginning.

I regret purchasing Indestructible and wish I could unpurchase it. Aliveman tricked me into thinking toughness was a good thing to have now, but I was wrong.
Indestructible can certainly be good for certain builds... But I will definitely add a 'sell' option of some kind, or perhaps a PSI respec, so that you can change your mind.

PSI+ doesn't make slightest sense later in game.
Doing +1 floor gives like +10% of total gain per round while it takes like 10x longer. Every PSI upgrade cost is exponential while effect is linear.
This is true now- it will probably always be true that psi isn't worth it at some point. But more psi upgrades will continue to unlock in the future, and when they do, you'll want to stack large quantities of points into them.
If it was always worth it to rebirth, there wouldn't be a lot of decision making in the game.
Sorry to hear that! I am looking very hard for a solution. At the moment I don't know what's causing this, but chrome seems to never lose save files, for now. And eventually even if I don't find the cause, I will have save import/export working, so between all those things it should be playable for the few people losing saves in a few days.

"(Should have?) fixed a bug causing the game to not run when you are tabbed out of it"
No it hasn't, it still doesn't progress while in another tab or window. Other then that, hopefully you'll be able to fix it soon. Also thank you for reading other comments and acting on them to help improve the game.
Yes, unfortunately my brilliant plan did not work. Out-of-tab progression is on my mind. I just need to figure out how to get it working without slowing the browser down to a crawl. And also, you're welcome!

@prohazka, it scales off your toughness. It just scales poorly without Indestructible and a LOT of Spite. With aliveman at level 6, I need at least 1201 Toughness to get the full 120% damage boost. I don't have enough indestructible or spite to get there yet, and even if I did, it wouldn't help much on the 23rd ceiling. Not sure how we're meant to go much farther than 20, the damage/toughness for the amount of PSI we get just can't keep up. And the PSI upgrades get so hard to get any meaningful boost from that I can only manage to get .08% damage per jump from the 22nd ceiling.
Currently, post-20 is (sadly) essentially post-content. While there are still a few things to do, the main portion of content is unfinished and will be added after I fix a few remaining bugs and issues. I'm quite impressed so many people are already there! But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Thank you for your interest!

Engineer 1: "Why are the top floors so much stronger than the bottom ones, despite needing to support more weight?"
Engineer 2:"Don't worry about it."

@MikalSerity: you don't take quicker ticker with a big air build. Big air bonus = air time in seconds x .25(# of sparks in big air)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Exactly how does the Big Air bonus help? If you loose your toughness you then get the boost of damage? Does the quicker ticker detract from this bonus, as it reduces the time per jump? It seems that it doesn't help much, if at all, from my limited experience so far.
Hi, I'm aware that some people are not having their data saved. At the moment i'm unable to replicate it or find a specific cause, other than it seems to be exclusive to firefox users. I'll be implementing a manual export and import save in the future which should work regardless of browser, and I will also be trying to find a way to ensure the in-browser save works for everyone, if possible. I'm sorry that you were affected by this!

nice game.Needs more stuff to do probably alternate worlds and a preference of mine is bigger numbers. If for example you break universes bv the end that will be sweet
I think you are probably experiencing this because higher ceilings do more damage, and taking more damage will make Aliveman scale up faster. However, if you find a reason that this might not be the case, please let me know.
Hi there. I don't think this is correct - I tested it just now in browser and in my development build and in both cases it seems to work as I'd expect it to. Can you be more specific in what you're seeing in the game that indicates it isn't working properly?

Again, if you're having trouble progressing, your velocity is too low. You balance toughness and velocity until you get stuck, then jack up velocity until your velocity stays at 100% through entire jump. If you're wondering how to do that, remember each level of "hire man" doubles your velocity and only marginally increases time between jumps. Every upgrade in that will significantly increase your damage/second, let alone damage/jump. It doesn't matter if you only get a few ticks if each is doing trillions of damage, for example.
