Loved the other ones - this one gets a 2. Too non-linear. You end up wasting most of your time in areas out of order.

Uh, yeah. I myself am NOT good at platformers, but I generally liked the Robot Wants series...
Except this one. Apparently, I have a sticky key issue, and this game punished me hardcore for it. Seriously, this was the hardest game in the series, and I my fingers are sore from repeatingly pressing buttons that won't work to get into the exact position to go somewhere. The timings for the jumps in the beginning was especially annoying. It should not take 20 minutes just to find the Double Jump powerup because you can't get back into an area! Gah... Once I got most of the powerups, the game got better, but it was still frustrating. I'm glad this isn't the last game in the series, at least Robot Wants Icecream gives this series a good end.

seems someone else made this 1 compared to the other 3, other 3 are more about fun & a comical storyline, this 1 seems to be hellbent on being annoying above the fun story and fun play, really the odd 1 out for me in the series

i like this series,but this is definately the worst one,nowhere near as enjoyable as the others! found this boring and i can't even be bothered for the medium badge. Poor. 2/5

How to get the second double bomb upgrade (the one you can't get because there are too many spiky crystals in the way, not the battle bat one): use the tri-prism to deflect a snail bullet into the spiky pink crystal, which destroys it. There's a snail right below the bottom crystal. Then absorb the hit from the 2nd crystal with your robo-shield or whatever it's called.

this game is so retardedly difficult that it becomes completely frustrating rather than fun. What a shame, easily the worst game in the robot wants series.

That was a good but time conserving game. It sadly took mee 100.41 minutes to finish. It could have been made to be a little easier and less of a maze. I'll give it a 3.5/5 but it is definetly my least favorite of the Robot wants series.

Good fun, and I like the way the game opens up slowly after collecting different powerups in various locations. The boss fights were tedious, though, since they appear to be designed around the fact that the player has infinite lives. Imagine taking out that fish or computer without taking damage... It'd be better if they were a lot weaker instead, but return to full health when you respawn.

The bosses are absurd pains in the neck. Once you have figured the gimmick to killing them it still takes forever because they each have a ton of HP. Special mention goes to the bat boss, which need to be killed no less than FOUR TIMES, all the while trying to follow it through its stupidly immense cave. Even with all the power-ups it took forever. And yes, the level design is lame, so much backtracking...

Undersea Operation Get through the spiny tunnel without a scratch. Jelly Toast Blow up a Jellyfish with Bombs.

Same terrible level layout as in the other Robot wants.. games. All over the place design, with lots of backtracking and having to remember what you needed to get past what obstacle once you get new powerups. Robot wants Ice Cream is a huge improvement.

The spiny tunnel reminds me of the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle water level, back on the NES. At least I could beat this one perfectly in one try...

robot wants "something" fishy :D btw i tell how to beat drillbaby: get magnet upgrade from pal 1000 then hang upside down and drop bombs at the button but be careful, its secondary attack knocks you back to the ground and you might land on the boss. + if it helped
