Why are games that are in 8/16-bit always so damned frustrating D:. I'm not even going to bother trying for the hard badge because I just end up throwing kitty at everything I see out of pure spite. Great concept and if your not playing for that hard badge, fun.

And hate to double post, but I would like to just say I just finished "The Friendly Robot" with only 3 kills. Could have done 0 if I thought of my trick early enough, but the 3 were dead before I learned how to save them XD
Hint: If you really want to do it with few kills, just hit a monster so he falls off the edge your trying to walk across, then kill yourself before he dies. You can also use this trick better once you get the whistle. Just kit and whistle before they die.

Reeeeeeal easy way to get that 10th claw upgrade... Just die. Then double jump above the lightning and hover over the claw until the post death immunity fades.

Doh! I ran through the game without reading achievements. Then I ran through the game with "The Friendly Robot" in mind, but I misread it to be "Die less then 40 times" so I did that. And then I realized my fallacy. Fine... I love this game more then I love saltwater taffy, so I'll do it again for that badge ^^

@Ace_Blue: The whole point of the challenge is not knowing your kill count, you even have a handy post spoiling every single award, be thankful you didn't have to actually figure out what you had to do in the first place as intended

I hate this game so much it's just annoying!!!!! That cat needs to learn to finish off the enemies quickly so they don't run into me.

It's possible to get totally stuck if you get to the octopus-in-a-rotating-shield before you have level three keycard access (or the ability to fly, I suppose).

I was starting to really get frustrated at this game and almost wrote a bad comment until... I started ignoring the friendly robot badge and proceeded to slaughter ever last enemy with my deadly kitten, mwahahaha...

You only get the hard badge if you kill less than 40 enemies, which is actually quite easy as long as you avoid as many as possible. I only killed like 15 doing the least as possible.

it's not about dieing less than 40 times it's about killing less than 40 times... I think. Great game though, reminds me of metriod 5/5

Well i give the game as a whole an easy 5/5 However, the difficulty in getting there led to just a few of the "throw as mouse at the monitor" moments. Also getting to the Sekrit was terrible, took forever. oh and what does is do, if anything?

just a note for anyone trying the hard badge: it counts your kills when you get the 9th key, not when you get the puppy

There hasn't been a game that pissed me off this much in a long time. And the friendly robot badge? Beat the game with less than 40 kills? You mean I have to let these asshole enemies kill me AND let them get away with it? You better believe I took great pleasure in hunting every one of them down and killing them all as soon as I got that badge. If it's true what they say that stress can reduce your life span, I think this game just took a year off mine.

one point of interest for your next game I noticed you can glitch through some obstacles using the invincibility you get as you respawn. just something to think about.

My god, that speedrun award is tough. I eventually got it but 20 minutes is really harsh for an ingame achievement o_0
