@Korobooshi yes you can, it just means "clear this area x times after you accept the quest" so just do the area again after you accept it

@banaan12 the pet system is weird, you need to have tutorial 7 completed in order to get the nets you need to capture a pet and equip it via the drop down menu in the top left of the fight window, just keep using nets until you eventually get the badge

After closing and reopening my browser still nothing. I then left the game up for about 5 minutes and the box where the game should be finally showed a loading screen and I can play it now. Maybe the server is overloaded from too many people trying to get the BotD so it is taking a long time for the game to load?

I just have a black screen where the game should be when I load the webpage. Anyone know how to resolve that problem so I can play the game?

Trying to figure out how to move to Slime Village 5 after stuck on 4 and beating it hundreds of times. No hints in the tools about how to unlock.

How do you screw up an incremental idler? It was like freaking Algebra three to get into this. I needed an aerospace engineer degree to figure this crap out.

Seeing all the complaints about this game, i'm thinking the solution is a split in the idle category into "idle" and "long-haul idle". This one is definitely the long-haul variety.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
same badge problem as the other 4 or 5 games, and the game is a huge yikes. the TUTORIAL should not last for several hours of idling, it should give you a guide through how to play most starter aspects instead of... this

really? easy?..... the most impossible-easy i have met. and not because of my abilities... it's the amount of time (days) invested and soooo many quests to do to get those "easy"s. each quest/lvl-up takes too much time. (btw.. swarm-easy doesn't work..) think again about the "easy" definition...

Equipped item slots: "Apprentice of ___" titles, one slot of the same category per level of the title, for that hero only. Epic store purchase, Ambition 1 tab, one additional slot of that category for all heroes per purchase. Challenge bosses, solo mode, one slot of the listed type, for that hero only, resets on world ascension. Tier 3 rebirth upgrade, also resets on world ascension. There may be more that i haven't gotten to yet.

Can anyone tell me how to unlock more equip weapon slots, et cetera... I am having a great deal of difficulty finding information on how to play the game. Its a good enough game I suppose, but the sheer lack of precise information needed to do stuff makes the game harder than it needs to be
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah you really need to get your 1st pet equip asap to collect the stone, et cetera because doing it manually with the mouse just plain sucks...

Unlock nets by doing "Tutorial 7: Guild" and then buy nets as they become available in stock, click on level 1 light blue slime's until pet rank gets to 5 it seems, I am currently up to lvl 3. More nets in other colors supposedly become available when you unlock the trapper building when you get guild level to 15 in order to complete botd. Also you need the right stats to equip stuff.

So now you've got a pet that'll train itself, right? WRONG! The first one nets you 0.24 or a pet and no matter how many pets you collect it NEVER trains itself, at least before you get your badge, so 6) repeat steps 3-5 until you get the pet level up to 5, somewhere between 30 and 50 times easy, perhaps more. Oh yeah, the shop only carries 20 nets at a time. Once you buy them all, you need to wait 10 minutes for the shop to restock... 1 net. Don't worry, though, you can use Nitro to double the game speed. You can also get 100 gold for each material you sell on the Material tab in the Shop. I'm SO glad I don't need to worry about this badge any more. (2/2)

Holy crap, that was a pain! OK, as far as I can tell, here's what you NEED to do to get the pet and level it up to 5 for the "easy" badge. 1) Click on Quest, then on the Title tab, complete as many quests as you need to unlock Monster Study 1 and complete it. 2) Click on Global under quests and complete as many quests as needed to unlock the Bestiary, Equipment and Shop tabs. 3) Go to the shop, click on Trap and buy as many nets as you can afford (at most 2 at full gold). 4) Go to Equip and drag your net(s) from Utility Inventory (bottom left) to the 1 available slot in Utility (top right). 5) In Area 1 Level 1, right click on a monster to capture it, wait for the net cooldown timer to complete and repeat. (1/2)

My point is, for an easy BotD, it still requires hours of farm, and I don't see how you could speed that process for a new player which doesn't have any of that unlocked in a single day. I normally like idle games, but this one is extremelly slow at the beginning already, so I couldn't enjoy it unfortunately. It needs a faster pace for the first hours of play, less resouces, less "rare" materials, and less farm, at least at the beginning. Let people unlock more stuff before reaching that grinding part of an idle game.

@kellcey I saw that log function, and after trying to unlock more areas and get some materials and resources to buy some buildings in town, I started to farm normal slime in area 1 to try to get as many points per capture as possible. I reached 2.5 points per capture at the end. I haven't reached spiders (the furthest area I could unlock was magicslime city area 4), and I wasn't even close to get Cartographer Lv 10 to unlock them (I got it to 5 after hours of farm to finish a tutorial quest). The same applies to guild level to unlock Trapper. I reached guild level 9 when I finished the badge, not even close to level 15 required (plus the resources which I don't know which ones are, but all of them so far have cost rare materials by my point of view at the beginning, the first rank/levels should be more straightforward). And I've used Nitro all the time until it ran out, trying to get the max of it (I turned it on and off when I saw some progress or it looked like I needed some speed).

9h 36mins 40s is the real-time it took me to get the EASY upcoming BotD of total pet rank 5. Yes, I'm not a pro of this game. Yes, I don't know many of its mechanics. Yes, you could probably speedrun it in half the time or less if you know what to do or where to go. But I'm an average player trying to get an easy badge. Good luck to the players trying to get this badge on Saturday... For me, this is an extremelly grindy idle game with a really really standstill. Idle games normally have a curve where you start having to do some stuff, learning new things, progressing, unblocking new things, etc. This game, maybe like 30 minutes into it, you are already repeating zones to progress to the next ones, or waiting for resources to upgrade stuff because the amounts they ask you are insanely high early on. Overall, I feel the game is a bit unbalanced, and that makes badges quite unreachable for an average player, even the easy ones. 9h for an easy badge should not ever happen.

@Birckin: earliest unlock way to reduce the time to pet rank is to slaughter as many of that type of creature as you can (it's a log function, so not that fast, but you do get more taming points per capture the more of that specific creature you've killed). Spiders (except for yellow) have increased taming point gain as their passive bonus. Probably not relevant if you only care about the badge of the day, but if you get the guild level to unlock the trapper in town, it will have a research to increase the number of traps the shop restocks at a time. Also, if you have any nitro, use it, as that will cut the real life time of everything in half (until it runs out).

If my math isn't wrong, the easy badge needed for the upcoming BotD is going to take me more than SIX hours... It's been already like 2h and I still have 2/5 pet rank (capturing the lowest and easiest possible pet). Now I'm out of Throwing Nets and I have to wait 10 minutes to get ONE single restock of a net. Doing some math, I'm almost pet rank 3 in that one, which is 23 capture points to rank up. Assuming the other two remaining ranks need 23 capture points too, that's 46 capture points missing. At 1.7 capture points per net (probably you can upgrade that, I'm a newbie, I don't know every detail of the game), that's 27 nets more, at 1 net per 10 minutes, that's 270 minutes, or 4.5h more, to get an EASY badge. What???

The game BARELY runs! ... I know, I know: "It's your own damn fault for having allowed the ever progressing times pass you by." Believe me, the effects of that can indeed be sorely felt from time to time. But gosh darnit if I've ever before had trouble quite like this with a fricking browser game on my - admittedly ancient - setup. So those of you only getting a black screen like I was at first? Maybe you just need to wait a few minutes - or hours, depending... And hey, more power to ya if you're one of those for whom the game obviously runs perfectly. All I'm really saying here is that it hardly seems fair to have something with such wildly varying performance as Badge of the Day - during a week with a new Kongpanion, no less!

@NinjaCat7 - Full guide will have to wait but i can help you a little now. You've already world ascended once so that should makes things a bit easier. The key is to push guild level and area mission milestones as much as you can. First 6 world ascension points should go to Area Booster which drastically speeds up your area/town progress + makes swarms easy to complete. In guild upgrades first 10 points always go to Training (guild exp gain). Each time your character levels up you receive guild exp. Frequent rebirth 1 allows for rapid guild level gain. Every 5th guild level you get something that'll greatly boost your progress. Guild level #35 Slime Bank and #55 Arcane Researcher should be the most important ones.

@matthewgraves001 - Anvils are acquired from mid-late dungeons and solo boss battles. There are 4 different kinds: #1 lowers ability requirement, #2 lowers hero level requirement, #3 increases proficiency gain by #%, #4 increases equipment effect by #%. Each item has 4 for all 4 anvils, slots are unlocked at item level 60, 80, 100 and 120. These slots aren't unlocked permanently and if you rebirth 3 which resets that character's equipment proficiency you'll lose ability to use anvil on them. You'll have to relevel them again.

@Dankaw : I'd be very interested in a guide to better my progress if ever you feel like making one. I do enjoy the game but I feel I'm not progressing that fast ...

2/3 || Besides that, i don't believe this incremental game is as bad as people claim. I've had "pleasure" to grind badges for far worse ones multiple years back and they've had better reviews/score. It has fairly clear progression and there's something to work towards compared to just "get a higher number" many idles do. It has a fairly unique feel to it in form of basically setting up a bots farming while you're doing something else in the background. The game runs normally as long as you don't switch browser tabs OR have another program/game running in fullscreen mode (borderless is fine). I simply have 2 browser windows open at the same time.

1/3 || I've been playing for 3 months now. I've captured flametiger recently, run nitro permanently, idle majority of the time and i'm about to ascend my world for the 4th time now. Early on it's hard to call this game an idle, it's closer to management game. There's plenty of systems and micro-managing everything to quickly progress might be tiring. This issue slowly goes away as you unlock more pets and buy QoL upgrades in Epic store... and the latter is my main gripe. Blocking these upgrades behind paywall or multiple days in real life should never be a thing. Some of them are absolutely vital to even use certain systems. It may not be as troublesome if you have only few hours each day though, where you'll likely have a surplus of epic coins.

Re: forging items: you have to get the item to level 60 (either get all 6 characters unlocked or do some tier 3 rebirthing) and get anvils to use on it (similar to enchant scrolls, maybe?). (I'm going off what's in the help tab here, and reading other descriptions; i haven't got that far yet.)

Something weird happened...I don't get Epic Coins anymore. When I receive some, like from a daily quest or area mission or whatever, my total goes up and then immediately goes to zero again. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
