helgravis I was checking out your profile... please don't succumb to this toxic trend of idle games, make another peacefree

The "really leave"-dialog is anoying, particularly since it's so obvious why it's there (if you have the browser set to 'open last tabs' which most people have, this tab will be the first to load, as it was open at closing thanks to the message, resulting in the kongregate ad playing on this game)

@TBTabby: the classes sure are easy for the first lvls, but at around class-level 140 it gets tougher and tougher pretty fast.

The game seems to have trouble updating earning potential (like after purchasing technologies) without refreshing the page.

anyway to collect without breaking your mouse, I found this game at like 9pm, and my family is kindave tired of tapping. yes I know dogs exists for this purpose, but their slow and tedious. A key added for the keyboard would solve this problem. please listen, and thank you.
Like when graduating? There is a Dog Technology that increases Medals on graduation. It says a generic "Tech Bonus" label, in case I add future techs or other sources that further increases the medal yield.

Something to start classes automatically based on the lowest current level would be great.. This game just requires way too much checking in to be a good idle game atm, my upgraded study power is double the homework difficulty but I dont have the time to keep checking the game every 5 minutes just to start class
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
(EDIT: don't need cookies for dog upgrades but still way too many levels, I don't even see the upgrade you spoke of. still, I dun goofed right there)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
also, I wouldn't even want them to get shorter, I would want them to get longer but give more results. It's an idle game after all, I don't want to look in it and spend a minute giving them all classes (because that's way too many clicks) all 5 mins TBH
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For the best results, focus on a couple of subjects first. I recommend one of them be math, since it focuses on increases your gross income and it is a pretty solid one to invest in. Multiple classes (for all subjects) are upgrades that you can access on the bottom sections of the technology upgrades.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Klaue, when you level up your dog technologies, you can actually take multiple classes per "click." You then get treats at a far faster rate. Also, you can lower the time your classes take by a significant amount as well. Just takes a bit of patience.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
also, please add a save button or at least display when it saves and remove that annoying "do you really want to leave?"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I did like 60 classes now and got not a single dog treat for it. only time I got them was after being away a while as a welcome back gif. do you want to encourage players not to play your game? also, I have no idea where to even spend puppy power. Is it only for classes? Because I have about 10 times as much as classes need
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Small suggestion for the class menu: add 4 smaller squares to each of the 3 slots which represent the 4 possible choices and don't use a confirmation button. Clicking 3 times for each class gets fairly repetitive if you ask me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i think i have broken the game. Since i've bought a trophy for like 300 medals, then it bought me 2 trophies at the same time (lol) now i owe 457 medals to the bank :(
It says -457 on the top right. So now i have to sell my soul to give back those medals i ve taken mistakely.
May i go to hell?

one sugestion: you could make an option/skill that if the class have a 100% chance of success, they would do it and reward automatically, starts to get verry boring, when all you have to do is click for about 12 times to set a new class for every slot and have to wait again.... just to graduate and do it all again.
great game, keep up doing the good "homework"
Lol, this was actually a skill I previously planned that didn't make the cut. Funny how we came up with the same thing! It's in the game but currently disabled. It caused some issues before (I don't recall what it was), but I'll think about reviving it on a later update.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
when you do multiple class at once, the game calculates the rewards base on the class you were on, at least for the puppy treat. (for the loots is seems a bit more complexe of a situation)
It counts how many finals, midterms and normal classes you did, and adds a bigger weight to the finals and midterms when computing how many cards and treats to reward. Loots drop better in higher level classes and some random chance for extra loot, but for the most part has a similar computation.

Just an update, I'm pretty happy with all the updates. Will highlight though, although the game seems to register all tap upgrades, it doesn't seem to register when you've just graduated, only registers when you've upgraded the homework pile once. Very minor thing, is only ever so slightly irksome, but I'm pretty happy outside of that.

Help! Apparently monsters (and angel dogs) aren't spawning I don't know what caused it but they just won't spawn no matter how long I keep the game idle!
Is it in a particular room or all rooms? Monsters and angel dogs wont show up until Buddy the Puppy reaches Lv26, which should happen in normal gameplay.

One suggestion, is for maybe for the dogs to also get large multipliers to power, like they do for income? This way they scale FAR better in the late game. thanks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One thing, classes also seem to scale too quickly, power wise. Like exponentially, especially when you have a high multitask level. Just a heads up, I'm not saying it's that unreasonable, but having that lowered will enable us to finish higher level content. ATM, the skill that that lowers the time quests take is wonderful, but could be more useful if I can actually reach higher levels. TYVM

Graduating takes too long: after a few graduations you don't want to read the "as we graduate we want to thank..." message anymore, so please... give us an option to skip it (or turn it off)? Thanks in advance :-)
While growing up, I was a sickly nerd and I got bullied just because I looked like a good target. So yeah I can relate to feeling like life sucks in general. But you know, there's a lot of things in life that you can do that don't suck. With practice, eventually you'll find something that you're good at. And if you keep getting better at it, who knows? Maybe you can become a rockstar in your own way! It's all about perspective and perseverance~

@helgravis, is there a way the later dogs can give more power? Doesn't make sense to me that a level 250 sea mariner dog gives only 875k power. That way, you can also justify the high cost of upgrading their power through treats.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also folks, keep in mind that the lower of the tier 1 upgrades for all puppy types increase puppy power by a percentage. This is also vital later on. Moreover, I am focusing on non-science dog (math, music, literature), just to speed up the game progression. If you go for that 4th class, it takes far longer to progress. Enjoy!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Tip for new players: Puppy power is very important later on. One of the best trophies is a wishbone, it increases puppy power for all dog types. Also note that low level dogs (for example, the boxer dog) might be a significant source of puppy power. I bring him up because room 1 dogs are cheaper to upgrade. You need this power to farm classes >100, since the requirements spike drastically (might go from 66% to 0%, for class level 165 for example).

Everything is working fine and no memory errors anymore. The game is very much fun again. Thanks - Helgravis - for the effort and time to fix the bug.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Any word on when you are going to work on the memory thing? Game is on the right track ,but that holds us back a lot. Thanks.
Sorry for the delay. Took me a while to find the other memory leak. I just updated the game, and am testing out another fix. Please let me know if the memory issue continues to happen.
