the nice thing is, All those recommendations have been fixed in Bubble Tanks 2. Either all of you guys had already played it, or you really need to!

Click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click.
And all of that is mostly blind shooting. Not worth my time today.

I can't find the bubble monster, I went to the ends of the world and killed everything and have nothing to show for it. Terrible game.

When I was a teenager, I had a nightmare where I moved from room to room with no end in sight. I found this nightmare again with Bubble Tanks even if there are enemies to kill. This one should win the prize of most repetitive video game.

I remember a much more entertaining version of this game. This one is horrible. No real way of telling what when you're getting to an upgrade/downgrade boundary, no way of controlling your ship upgrades, nasty fire control. urgh!

ok fk this shit... I've been to every corner of the goddamn map, I've been playing this game for half a day already and still haven't found the boss..... At least give us some hints as to where the boss is...

-3 points for no auto-fire and making me CLICKLICKLICKLICK like an idiot. Not only is it painful and irritating, I accidentally clicked on the banner when moving the mouse away from the screen causing all my progress to be erased. It's amazing how a lack of such a simple feature can totally ruin an otherwise good game. 2/5

For all of u who complaint about the bad game, please check again.. it was made at 2007.. i think it's pretty awesome for the game at that time. And beside, it also got other sequel which are better

I beat it in 10 minutes- just go in one direction far enough. I liked it because you could rapid fire, even with heavy weapons

Poorly made. The game doesn't tell you who or when, or even if there is a boss. I guess the badge does, at least. There is no auto fire. I'm not even sure how you change the controls. The boss was a complete joke, I was thinking it was just another generic enemy, but nope. I suddenly get the badge.

I think the secret of levelling up is to fly in a spiral around the centre. The difficulty of your opponents seems to be based on the distance from the centre so if you only move away from it slowly, the enemies don't get much more difficult. Once you've maxed out your ship (or think you have) then you can fly off into the distance looking for the big badass.

The reason this game has high rating is that the basic idea was good, the follwups are better not because of the upgrade paths etc but more despite them. A lot of the time a game loses when too much complexity is added in followups. Lack of map, no autofire and bad game balance are what is really lacking and makes this a bad choice for badge of the day. I just corpse jumped to the boss and then realised there is no way to kill it.

Another thing this game needs (and this one's in the sequel, too) is a progress meter. It seems like ages since I leveled up -- is that because I'm maxed out or because I'm taking too much damage? If I am maxed out, then gaaaaaah, they chose a really bad ship for the "best" one. One bullet plus one bomb sucks since it's hard to aim the bullet and the bomb moves slower than the ships so can't be targeted. You just have to fire with the bullet and hope you'll get lucky and have some dumbass enemy fly into one of your bombs. I much prefered the triple shots (either parallel or in-line).

stupid game with stupid no level up based game and if u get to close to the edge ur force out and have to restart the bubble

In order to kill the biggest, most evil bubble monster of all the land; I must become the biggest, most evil bubble monster of all the land. How sad.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
everyone mentions getting bigger... seriously when does that happen guys because every time I get up to a triple shot it's taken away from me in about two seconds and I'm killed. Who had the bright idea back then that the second you slide out of a bubble because you're trying to dodge an attack, EVERYTHING IN IT IS BACK TO FULL HEALTH?!?

So, earlier I complained about the lack of a mute button. It turns out that there is one; it's just not accessible while you're playing. From the main menu, you can separately mute the music and/or the sound effects. Hooray!

this game is awesome, but after 5 mins my hands hurt from non-stop clicking because of no firing when u hold the mouse button, but besides that the game was made good
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Dunno, looks overrated to me. Having to continuosly press the mouse button is pretty annoying. It's also really repetitive. If you become too big you can't shoot smaller thanks and if you get too near to the border while you are trying to dodge bullets you get sucked to another bubblefield losing al bubbles you haven't collected yet. Over all i think i'll have to decide between 2/5 or 3/5, but that's my opinion in any case...

This game needs: a pause button, a mute button, a map, repeating weapons, choice of upgrades... All of those were implemented in the sequel so it's a shame Kong chose to put the badge of the day on this version.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't believe that the programmers actually beta-tested this game. Or maybe they thought that everyone had an auto-firing mouse device? I give up! the hand hurts.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if you dont fix the control this game is 10000000000000000000000000000000000/5 of the damn control you cnat even play with those damn control going all crazy go at a side with you yust touching the botton one time

auto fire would be nice, movement is uncontrollable, sticky, and sporadic. field of vision is small. map would be nice. definitely improved in number 2.
