This game pretty fun and the graphics are decent. I like having the upgrades although with only 10 wave scenarios you don't really get much of a chance to do a lot of upgrading. The slowdown was pretty bad whenever there were enemies is sight and the more there were the worse it got. I don't think it's my computer's fault either because my computer is fairly decent and I don't have slowness issues on other games. It's too bad that you can't do upgrading during waves or that you can't start the campaign over while between waves. I think campaigns with more waves would be pretty cool especially because it saves after each wave. 4/5

I like the concept, but agree with two of the main complaints: silly to only be able to fire one turret at a time, silly that its so difficult (even on easiest campaign). As far as I'm concerned rule no. 1 in defence games is that you should always have a CHANCE to kill enemies before they hurt you...here they take a shot almost before they come on the screen (and never seem to miss!). Frustrating. How is it averaging 4/5?

A good concept, and i like games that have a bit of randomness even within one "level", but there is no way to come up with a good strategy if the enemies change too much from one attempt to the next. Unbalanced.

xorpa u can use the heavy canon it totally helps if u upgrade it enough it can kill the huge boats in 4 hits and the metal things in 2 i did the mission with one heavy cannon and one missle cannon thing

finished all the 5 Campaigns for the "hard" badge... but i got none... now i can only do the "Sky Fortress"-Campaign... but i got through the game without a real problem... so i dont think that i'll spend $5; maybe after a bit balancing! after all it was a hour of nice entertainment - i like the sound of the double-machinegun! }:->

Didn't notice one bit of difference from last version, other than perhaps a tad easier. The concept of only being able to use 1 gun at a time is still completely retardo. Even if the guns you weren't using randomly fired anywhere with completely stupid AI that would be better than them just sitting there doing nothing.

This game is still ridiculously unbalanced. Sometimes enemies will appear all at once, making it impossible to kill them all, especially with a gun as slow as the cannon, or as weak as the machine guns. There are still more bugs than an ant farm. For such simple objects this game causes way too much slowdown with only a small amount of enemies on the screen, and the transition screens take far too long with their unnecessarily long animations.

I used mine bombs, dual machine guns and for the 5th campaign i added a damage buffer. Make sure you upgrade the damage of the machine gun, the % of damage of the buffer and you should be ok.

To get medium badge , go to kong badge mode - buy 1 apocalypse cannon and fire 1 shot. Let them kill you. 100% accuracy = 20k points :)

Double machine gun on the top + Cannon which "tanks" everything, on the front + damage buffer + health buffer + timemachine =win

Ok, HangedManBendy is a bit obsessed wiuth realism. And I just discovered, far from obvious as it is, that in fact you have to manually increase skills in between rounds whenever you level. Which helps, as at level 6 my quadruple-barrelled shotgun has half the reload time it had at level 1

Only time I had to differ from that was the 4th campaign, had to use 2 linked guns since their damage wasn't dropped to 0 on the elephant ships.

I like the game, though the double machine gun is pretty much the end all gun. For the last level one double machine gun, one random gun with nothing but health upgrades as a decoy, and 3 damage ups. 8 damage per bullet is pretty damaging.

little tip for level 5 that my friend (Mewtwo) used. get five homing rocket launchers (they follow you're mouse) and focus only on reload time. when reload is maxed, focus ONLY on damage. and the final boss for level 5, aim your rockets at the top right corner, it's where you see all these wires and circuits. You can even BEAT kongregate level with this tip

In both maps use One dual machine gun, One Cannon, and the rest make damage buffs.
Place the cannon in front of everything else. upgrade it half-damage and half-health.
Use the machine gun With 1 in more damage and the rest in rate
give all the buffs more power.
You can get through all the maps like this, and there is no reason why you would have to cheat.
Just remember to repair everything, they will all attack the cannon

OK, So I admit the situation is pretty bizarre. But, I will comment that it makes a fun game. And people who are unable to understand why you would have multiple cannons: why? Machine for most enemies, switch to missiles or something for high defense enemies. What's so hard?

I'm having some serious problems with timing issues on the new version of this. It's rendering about 150 frames a second at times... and that's not ok on a timing based sprite game.

Yeah, the whole idea of 1 person running from tower to tower in the middle of a battle to operate different guns is bizarre.
We can make clockwork shield generators that automatically protect other towers, but we can't make a stick to jam in the firing mechanism of a machine gun to shoot (even badly) while I run around wondering why all the people I'm protecting ran off leaving me with multiple guns and only 2 hands.
And who's SELLING me the guns? Presumably someone who doesn't want to DIE. Tooo busy to point and shoot a missle my oppurtunistic little war monger?

make sure to finish the other 4 campaigns first.
Then get one dual machine gun, one damage upgrade, 2 time machines, 1 shield.
Upgrade damage on machinegun, duration on time machines, strength on shield. Save up points for 2nd damage upgrade for machinegun while playing. If you do it like that, by the end you can chain the time machines:)

This game needs a frame limiter, hard. I don't even have that great a PC and in high detail the game runs so fast I don't even get time to aim. I use the time stop unit and time stops for about a second. joy.

Just complete windchill badge. Easiest way by far is Ashebrethafe's way : 5 plasmids, the left most one (slot 3) with max speed, and always keeping it firing using this one. The others will fire at same rate !!! On the top slot, damage plasmid at beginning, and in front, health plasmid. When you've got money, another health plasmid on the bottom front slot, then, a damage plasmid on the bottom rear slot.
When starting a wave, select the slot 3 and wreak everything. Upgrade using the same pattern (slot 3 : speed, slot 4 and 5 : damage, slot 1 and 2 : health), then before the final wave (after wave 10), put all the remaining upgrades on health.
You won ! Impossible to loose, your fire rate is so high that most of enemies can't even came i range for their own weapon. The 2 first waves are a bit hard, and the 10 one also, but nothing really hard.

You could at least make the "kongregate challenge" a little harder...I used a heavy cannon, maxed out dmg, and 3 damage buffers, with a max out buff, and I killed the "kongregate elite juggernaut" in 1 shot. =/ Thats..crazeh. 75000 cash in the "kongregate challenge" is a little too much, too.
