Nothing about this game to keep me engaged. Its just whack-a-mole on what you can buy with no meaningful choices. If that ever changes, then you put it behind too much time to keep me interested.

so im very confused, can someone please explain in great detail how the infinity bar works, and how to trigger it? Please use terms that an idiot can understand so i know whats going on
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i remember playing this. it was through reddti while i was looking for idle games. it was named antimatter dimension too. and tihs looks like that!

@KainXinth and whoever: The progress bar is logarithmic meaning it's progress isn't a traditional "if I generate 1% per second and nothing changes, I'll be done in 100 seconds." You can think of it based on the cost of 8th dimension purchases. The cost of 200 8th dimensions is roughly 100% of the bar. If you can afford 50 8th dims, you're at roughly 25% of the bar, etc.

@FlashZanga I understand what you're saying and that makes a lot more sense then Veovi's failed attempt at explaining, but that still doesn't seem to be accurate. I've watched my Percentage until Infinity drop from 12.51% to 8.34% after buying a bunch of Dimensions. Like I said, it seems that the amount needed changes based on how many or what type of Dimensions you have.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Veovi You don't get the concept of a progress bar apparently. Progress bars grow by how quickly you are reaching your destination, your entire understanding of them seems as broken as the way this progress bar works. If you are getting .1% a second, it will KEEP growing by .1% per second. If the number you need to reach is e306 and not a shifting number based on the amount of Antimatter Dimensions (which it seems to be,) then the progress bar will continue to grow by .1% a second. You're right, it's not a difficult concept.

I bought the first infitiy upgrade, where progress increases over time, after my third challenge that disappeared... where did it go?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Each Unit, like M, or B translates to just under 1% on the bar, allowing you to achieve infinity at around 100Ce, the 100th unit
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@KainXinth if it would be a "traditional" percentage bar it wouldn't move until the very end because 1e306 would translate to 1%.
It seems that 1e02=1%, 1e04=2% etc. Not exactly of course but you get the idea.

Can someone explaine to me how to get the "Zero Death" achievement? What if you already did a Dimension Shift? Does it lock you out of getting it?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is dimensional sacrifice supposed to work in the 6 dimensions challenge? Because the button does nothing when pressed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@KainXinth its a percentage bar? from e01-e306. if for example you can get from e01-e150 really fast then the bar is going to move very fast upto 50% If its slower for you to go from e178-e306 then its going to move slower. Sorry i don't mean to sound mean but its not a hard concept :(

So, I need the "Percentage until Infinity" gauge explained to me. No, not that way. I know what it is and what it does. What I don't know is why the growth slows so much, perhaps you can explain why the goal post is moving? It stands to reason, that if it's a static number the growth rate wouldn't change. What happens is I see that it grows rapidly for a while when buying new upgrades, then it slows down to a snail's pace again. I'd rather see a static number we need to reach, as opposed to an arbitrary percentage that doesn't seem to behave the way normal numbers do.

The dimensional sacrifice needs a better explanation. I know i boosts my 8th dimension, but i don't know the exact effect that it costs me- other than my production tanking from the rest of the dimensions. Also the check box next to it seems to do nothing. I tried it with and without and didn't see any difference.

While doing C9 it becomes very useful to use scientific notation. The dimensions going top to bottom have initial buy 10x costs 1e2, 1e3, 1e5, 1e7, 1e10, 1e14, 1e19 and 1e25 and step increment costs of x1e3,x1e4,x1e5,x1e6,x1e8,x1e10,x1e12 and x1e15 respectively. This allows you to see very clearly when the prices of two dimensions are going to collide.

Trying to figure out the value of reducing boost and galaxy requirements by 9. That doesn't save you any work on even-requirement soft-resets. Assuming one soft-resets 22-24 times for an infinity, only 6-8 of those would apply, and several of the last ones were easy anyway.
If the bonus was 10 it would be helpful, but at 9 this doesn't even seem worth getting.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe the game needs a timer to tell you how much time till you collect enough infinity till milestone like on every e10 or e15 pr at least 8th dimension or even for every dimension seperately

Having a hard time getting faster Infinity time than 7.8 seconds. This is after 17,000 Infinity's, max'd out everything except Big Crunch (0.2s, 4000 IP to decrease more). And over 6000 IP unspent. Active play, which is still a bit faster than idle play... 27.2s for fully idle, and 9.5s for partially idle. This leads me to 2 things: 1, any time under 7s is almost certainly cheated. 2. I would love it if it displayed my prior Infinity's time on the main Dimensions screen, so I could track it better. Playing active and trying to control a stopwatch every 7-8s is just not feasible.

To answer the question of how to prioritize; keep in mind, that most of these upgrades are compounding. First priority is usually first dimension. 10 of those immediately doubles your income. Then comes 8th dimension. It doubles 8ths production, but in effect also doubles the growth of 7th dimension, which doubles the growth of 6th et al. Then comes tic speed, which is an immediate 10% boost to income, but also a 10% boost to each dimension's production speed, which also buffs the growth of the dimension below it (so, 7th gets 10% plus the buff from 8ths production boost and so on). Then just go on up the list.
Not that prioritization really matters here. An imperfect choice really only sets you a few seconds behind in most cases.

So does our universe have three "first" dimensions? Or is it one "first" and two "second" dimensions? Dev's idea of what a dimension is is silly.

Thanks Starfalls! For anyone else interested, the number by "production increase over time" appears to be a multiplier that steadily ticks up, so you can assess its value by watching it over time. The benefit that reaches across infinities (perk 3?) increase at a rate of .026%/minute for the first 10 minutes. Haven't seen an increase on the first perk.

Since the advent of autoplay off page progress has slowed to a crawl again. Kinda defeats the purpose - especially the idle part.

Suggestion: change button layout so that Max All button stays in the same place so you can spam-click it without trying to avoid dim-sacrifice
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Bonesmasta36 if you mean the 1st Infinity upgrade, that thing goes up really, really slow. I played for over a week and I still got only 2.5X multiplier on those. @ANNIHILATORES for potato achievement you need 22% tick bonus (3 galaxies and Galaxies 2x effect Infinity upgrade), even with that you only reach near 1e28 when you buy tick upgrade at 1e300 or less antimater. That means when you goes fast enough, just max buy tick speed only, not Max All.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What is "production increase over time"? If I sit with just 1st dimension generators, my production does not seem to increase over time. Is it just very slow? Also, what does that seemingly arbitrary modifier mean?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When dimension boost and galaxy are both available priority should automatically go to the galaxy, not the dimension. Not a huge deal, but it's logical, and saves a pass through first half of run if your dimension reset is above 70.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ILikeLego_lol when you get to a point in game where you're progressing fast enough to keep clicking max after one of the later boosts, you should be able to click the max button for 30 seconds and constantly use the antimatter up.
