There are instructions in the title screen, and you can press F1 or '?' for a list of controls. Roguelikes are unfortunately rarely accessible at first.

I don't know which is funnier, the fact that I "killed" a ghost, or the fact that I did so by stabbing him through a wall.
btw is there any kind of guide for wtf the rings do? Jaguar? Bear? Huh??

Oh shit this witch is about to kill me, no scroll of oblivion wont help, no, not a scroll of wishlist. Aha! What about this unknown scroll! "You just read a scroll of information! Did you know panthers will only attack their prey if they struggle?"... I'm screwed.

The bat got the best of him.

It would be nice if you implemented vision in this. It's a bit disheartening to see the whole dungeon laid out without having to discover it. You could use this shadowcasting algorithm I ported for vision: http://www.robotacid.com/flash/red_rogue/shadow_casting/

"hihihi the Gnome Assasin defeated Amon, Marquis of Hell restoring peace to the lands and scoring 17965 points."
Damn, that was hard, needed 3 days of trying, but when I reached Amon's lair (lvl 20) for the second time, I beat him

Nice rougelike. Yes, it's tough but then it's supposed to be. Very replayable. And the system where your equipment gets upgraded was a nice touch.

I casted scroll of good fortune, then i casted scroll of time travel at level 2, it became permanent too, allowing me to wander freely in a state affected only by potions and eternal fullness. needless to say, the rest is all easy pickings.

There is some bug with the scroll of time travel. Usually it only lasts for a few rounds, but in my last game I used it somewhere around level 10 - and it became permanent for some reason, allowing me to amble through the rest of the dungeon and slay everything without challenge.

You can't save because saves can be backed or modified; playing this game online means that you're (almost) certain that everyone is playing by the same rules.
As for undocumented keys, I'd really like to know which keys you mean. If I forgot any key in the key list, please let me know.

I haven't played every roguelike but you seem to have implemented some interesting features. I do like how you've simplified the interface a bit like by automatically opening doors instead of having to hit open. Some of the undocumented keys kind of annoyed me, but what really ticked me off was the inability to save (at least tell me how many levels are in the game).

I love roguelikes. This is a really great example of one, and goddamn did I feel a lot of nostalgia while slaying the alphabet. Very good job, I love it :)

It would be nice if the "rest" key wasn't on the number pad. I have a number pad-less laptop, but really like this game. Can't you map it to another key? Thanks!
