Apparently, the end is a little past 5000m. But if you get a flying machine, you can accidentally skip it. I went nearly 10,000m before I beat the game on a different run.

Three star rating. I LIKE this kind of game, but this one had some flaws that made it quite frustrating. First, no upgrades improve the mouse-tracking of the character, making the running-speed upgrade actually do more harm than good, as it makes it more likely to miss pickups and especially rat combos or flying enemy stomps. At top running speed, it's impossible to double-tap flying enemies that don't die with one hit. Secondly, game lag gets untenable when the number of projectiles on the screen at once gets large. As many bullet-hell games there are out there that don't suffer from such lag with enormous numbers of bullets on screen, there's got to be a programming technique that makes this better.

Just discovered the game automatically and un-commanded set it quality to medium regardless of how many times I set it to low quality... lag is unavoidable

Over all the game is great, but I think the quest system is a bit broken, some quests that would have been easier earlier, but by the time they are assigned become very difficult. For example with the quests to get rat combos, later in the game the rats keep getting killed all the flying projectiles, but I was able to get the required combos earlier without much effort.

The slot machine works the exact same way as the one in Jetpack Joyride, so if you time it perfectly with the bottom arrow you'll win about ninety percent of the time..

upgrades aren't saved for me, I can make no progression and the game lags hard even on low quality... its a 1 star game for sure

I have every upgrade, I've wiped out every enemy with a meteor or a lightning or storm or a football team, and my zombie still gets tired 3/4 the way through the last section and gives up, letting the villagers regroup and catch him. Really cool.

game has some serious issues in balance. the second weapon is so much worse than the first. going for rats is pointless. after my first run i had enough money to max out the magnet. the stamina bar shouldnt drain over time, only on getting hit. the way it is, you essentially have 2 things you have to upgrade to get farther along (the other being the helmet that you HAVE to max out to win). why not 1 be health and the other be the key or something.
2/5

Space bar is not a good choice for shooting, since that's also used by browsers for scrolling down. When you accidentally click outside the game screen, then shoot oftentimes it'll scroll out of focus. So you die more. I'm sure there's a "keep focus" function. I'm not going to bother getting this badge.

This game was so much fun!
I hated getting off the helicopter and landing right in the gap between the platforms though >.

Mouse kept going off screen causing problems with game play... common problem with this type of game control and Kong style of screen. Otherwise a decent game. Very creative and nice new twist on the old themes.

this is a very good game, full of many cool upgrades and a frantic run+get action in it...
but what bothers me the most is that for this week, almost every badge is in the "Game completed" category, instead of the typical easy badges for BotD.
what can i say?
thats kinda bad. (and when i say bad, i only mean the harder badges for this week, as you will have to complete all games instead of an easy mission)
this game tho? its good.

Flying is very laggy. That's because Flash is literally hundreds of times slower than compiled games, so it handles barely anything with a few effects without lag compared to AAA games from the same year (2014) that my laptop can handle on high settings. An i7 processor (granted, it's a laptop i7 CPU from 2013) should be able to handle a game like this with ease. It's just a pixel art 2D indie game after all. Maybe it can be converted to HTML5 and be much faster. When Game Maker games became compiled, they became hundreds of times faster for example.

This game is grindy? I fully completed the game in an hour. I had something new to upgrade almost every run. Try Spellstone and you'll see what grinding is. Any game with microtransactions is going to be grindy because they want you to play a game with for example 10 hours of content for hundreds of hours in order to incentivize you to spend money to skip the grind. That's why you should play games without microtransactions like this game or many others.

Really fun game! Not too hard, not too easy. Also, the confetti before the football team arrives is like the best thing ever.

I found this to be a pretty quick game for a runner. Lag was never an issue at all, and it took me maybe 40 minutes to clear the game. My upgrades were not maxed.

If anyone was stuck like I was, Joy2U made a comment with a strategy that worked for me as well. I had everything fully upgraded and spent an hour trying to reach the end, but couldn't until on one run I just stayed on the ground without jumping or using weapons!

I'm glad we still get BotD and Kongpanions, but could a bit more thought be put into what gets the BotD and when? The longer badges used to be later in the week, not immediate, and gave us more time to get them...

heli broke i fell of in a pit didn't die and got a free no obstacle run off-screen... went through the gates and won..... idk wut just happened lol

Game completed in 51 minutes....51 minutes for a BOTD. Sure, it's a okay-good game but an hour for one BOTD? What happened, kong? Starting to seem like kong is just self destructing before flash goes out of style
