I min-maxed my game before sleeping for 8 hours, then min-maxed my game before working 8 hours, used 1 1-day boost, 4 1-hour boosts and 3 2-day boosts (all acquired for free via promo codes and the daily login gift), and it took FIVE ENTIRE DAYS to get the medium badge. This game seems incredibly predatory and I've reported it as such, shoving boosts in your face to make it seem like it's a huge help when in reality it's a necessity. To compare, I have every other idle game medium badge and spent less than 3 hours on each one and every game up had more content within it than this one.
I really do wonder how you expect players to willingly stick around until lvl 5 for Events, 14 for airport, or 30 for the island. What tickles me is how a player can pay you money for boosters. I almost wonder if this game is reportable because it's a clicker that's so unbelievably droll, it seems like you catered the microtransactions to practically extort people through boredom.

This is so mind bogglingly dull the badge may aswell be impossible because you'll probably die of boredom before you get to level 3.

I'd have to say that if it weren't for trying to snag badges and having a lot of down time at work I probably would have skipped past this. I am not a fan of Idle games and this is not an exception.

I love how the developers only excuse towards criticism is "give it a few days lol." Judging by the comments alone, I can already tell this game has about as much "depth" as a kiddie pool. It really makes me question how this game even got badges to begin with.

The game design for Holyday City: Here is a resource you will accumulate millions, upon, billions, upon quintillions of, lose to resets, and still never see a use for unless you spend near a month playing. Good luck!

got the badge finnally i wish kongregate would delete these low quality flash games. 1/5 no updates. 1/5 slow progression. 1/5 money hungry. 1/5 no incentive to restart. 1/5 forced daily via FB. basicly a shiny pile of crap. these games make me wish we could give lower scores than 1/5 but i will will remember holiday studio's for this zero content games. here's to happily never have to open this sorry excuse for a idle game again.

I lost my first city 3 weeks ago. I asked for a solution here and with a ticket to the developers. Since 3 weeks (!) no answer. If they would have answered me, I would have spent real money in-game. But now I will invest it on some cookies *yammiiii*

To elaborate on what ein85 said, I'm close to a level 3 city and hopefully this error isn't going to wipe my progress. I spent about 3 weeks to get this far.

benefits after a reset should be higher than 0.5x, this s...t will take forever and the city levels very slowly, this is the worst idle game and the worst *medium badge* ever, its a F...ING torture.. I have 2 weeks at level 2 and I don't pretent to reset this damm thing because I hate to spend time in this crappy game!

I unlocked the office. In the office I clicked on the button "claim fee". Suddenly I had to start with a new city. When I click on the left upper corner, I come to a page, were I see my old city. How can I switch back to my old city?

Screw this event. Why can't we skip this age-long animation? Please, for the love of godzilla, the curtain drawing was annoying enough, especially as 10-20 tickets often enough wouldn't trigger the "use 10" option. This is just a joke.

After trying to get the "medium" achievement for 6 days, 9-10 hours per day, I'm giving up. This achievement must be an "IMPOSSIBLE" one!

A single update in a year, and it's a needless resolution bump. How about ditching this ugly pseudo-chibi art no one has ever liked and going back to the original that everyone did like?

WAY too much resolution on veersion 4.3.0. Either give the option to resize to users desktop or revert it, scrolling all the time is annoying.

@bee_gamer you need to restart at least once, and grab the dailies, I'm nearly on it and it's been about 2 weeks and I was a bit inefficient

I have to agree with some of the earlier comments about this game. I have been playing for over a month and am still nowhere near unlocking new content at level 14. I'm just stuck in a seemingly endless loop of repeating the same actions over and over again without any real change in the game and without making any significant progress towards unlocking something new. It feels like something isn't balanced correctly in the game as I have made use of pretty much everything I can to try to move the game on to unlock new stuff but am still a long way off achieving the required level. There are definitely better idle games out there.

Keeps going to the "unlocked cities" menu, no matter what I click on. That's after having played on Android right after you first put it on Android... Can't even reset the game or anything now. This is ridiculous.

Well after more than a year, and no actual money spent, I've got pretty well all the upgrades for the whole game. Guess what happens? Nothing. Except you realise you've wasted more of your life on another incremental game
