So my town reached lvl 3 but no medium badge was given. Or is town lvl 3 not the same as ciy lvl 3 and do I have to grind even longer?

this is one of those games.. You set it up.. then come back each day(or 4+ hours.. to invest in the timers) .. to get the medium badge. THe dev has done well, but the game lacks and appears to be too focused on pay per click. The dev may want to balance.. the fun the fun of game versus how much money they want to try get from the player base.

To help you improve the game. try to add a something else to work towards than all the same trophies in the showcase. Because it dosn't feel like you really finish anything when the trophies are all the same.

Not much, Geno. Just adds another menu which holds an upgrade button you may be able to push once each day for zero noticeable increase in gain but actually decreasing the number of times you can now push the buttons you had before.

You came for the badges; let's sum up how it works. It has an easy badge which is, as promised, quite easy. Someone with average experience between easy and medium badges is expecting the medium badge will also be achievable in a normal amount of time. So he/she keeps playing, til the realization struck that this is going to take ages. Then a dilemma arises: do I leave right now or keep trying through sheer stubbornness? I think everyone that got the badges opted for the second option. But the torture..
Don't get your hopes up.The description on the medium badge ("not achievable in a day, can be done with few minutes every day") is either inaccurate or on purpose vague. Some simple"wrong"upgrades may stall you to eternity, til you are able to gather what's needed to reset town.
You want the points; get them through other games. Even fans of idle games (see comments) can't stand it- if you are not a fan,run away!
If you still want to proceed, good luck, and brace yourself with patience.

I don't get how people can complain so much about this game, It's just a lot slower than your average idle game, but still it's based on upgrades and fun to play, it just lasts a lot longer than your average idle, nowadays all idles are fast paced and introduce new ideas each minute but that doesn't make that this one is underpar, I really like this game and if you don't like it okay, but the fact that it's slow-paced doesn't make it a bad game but an idle one.

Having the different buildings have different timers as well as different payouts seems like it should be an interesting idea, but nothing is really done with it.

If this didnt have a badge to hit lvl 3 I'd have stopped playing long ago...It only takes a couple days they say...I'm almost a week and a half in and still no lvl 3 city let alone 5 when they say it speeds up play

Honestly the game wasn't bad. It gives you a steady feed of free stuff to keep you hooked and make the progression not horrible. Unfortunately since it's single player only there's nothing to keep you invested. I kind of want to press on to see what the airport offers but... I just can't be bothered. Got the badges time to go back to the real world.

I like my fair share of idle games, but this.. this game is just way too slow of an idle game. There's a prestige system, but you pretty much only reset and prestige when the game allows you to. Better games let you prestige as often as you want even if only for a very small increase in stats, but that small increase in stats makes the game more entertaining than waiting two to three days to reset, then waiting two to three days to do it again. It took me over a week to get the medium badge, just because I got bored a few minutes after I opened the game. Maybe it gets better later on, but I'm not going to stick around to see.

As mentioned in so many other comments, what a shit game. Only did it for the badge, that took me over a week. In that time I never really got interested in playing, just glad to get to the badge. You may say that at level 5 the game has a lot more features and becomes way better.... well, maybe you should reconsider, cause people judge a game on the beginning. Glad I got the badge and this hell on earth is over.

It was mentioned in another comment, but I find it funny that the most important "feature" of this "game" is the ability to learn languages ... fun? Entertainment? Hah, who needs those things when you can have 12 languages in your palm?!

i liked the game :P, there should be another kind of badge, for this kind of games it should be endurance badges, and no the normal ones. that way people will hate less :P

5 days for the medium badge. I think i'm finished. For badge hunters, make good use of what you're given, use the daily codes on their twitter. The time skips are pretty good too.
I reached level 3 by using my gold to buy a 1d skip.
I have a total office wealth of 1.1sp at the end.

Dear juwel, nobody here is trashing the Idle Game concept. The hate purely comes from this particular one getting `Badged`. Yes, it is an Idle Game, but it is by far the most tedious, uninspired, Micro transaction-based, no clever upgrading tactic Idle game here. I like certain Idle games, they still require at least a bit of player manipulation to achieve efficient income, not just simply waiting for a button to be pushed through 7 sub-menus or gathering tokens by gathering other tokens (Event currency) and a "community support team" which insists on making zero effort of actually listening to their players' input but simply responding by saying they are wrong. (Hint: coconut spinner and bad translation 'update')

what is an idle game for? for interactive fun? or for being able to come back to when you are bored having run out of any other options? in other words, if you don't like a specific game like this one or another, to keep your personal enjoyment level as high up as possible, go ahead and try something else! disclaimer: this comment should not be read as a praise for HCR, but should rather be taken philosophically.

Lol I'm confused by the idiocy on this site, 1) I'm not a troll I just leave kongregate running all day and occasionally check back up upgrade what I can, 2) I'm not using any scripts or hacks, I've just been playing for a few weeks, like I've said before, if you're that butthurt about having to get to level 3 for a badge maybe the badge isn't worth it? Quit crying about it, the game isn't slower than any other idle game and it has plenty of daily things to do so that you don't have to leave it for weeks and come back to make progress like almost any and all mobile idle games. There's really nothing wrong with this idle game other than people being impatient and claiming the devs are begging for money, I have not been requested once to give it 5 stars no have I been encouraged to purchase holy bars, so bring on the downvotes you filthy cretins ;)

The "Events" thing at level 5 that the devs keep telling you to stick around for. Is just a random pick a number that can generate random rewards. How do you gain tickets for entry to this event? PAYING REAL MONEY. So gross. Steam is loaded with fake reviews and fake ratings of this game. Keep that off Kongregate. Worst idle game I've ever had the displeasure of playing.
