I thought a "few minutes each day" would be three days of a quick 5 minute play or something like that. It's definitely not that easy to get the badge and takes more than what they said it would. Plus for a multi-day badge such as this, I would expect it to be at least a hard badge. Shame i'm such an achievement junky...

So many fail people. I am at a month on the game, which people have said it took them to complete the badge. During that time I also traveled around 3000 miles and there at many times was not even internet available to play. I'm less than a day from city level 20, not a single kred spent.
I do not have any idea what trouble all those complaining have had in getting the badge, much less getting way beyond it without any trouble have had, but I suggest you evaluate much more than just your gaming in your life.

exactly one month since I got the easy badge , I am 286 points away from reaching lvl 3. When will this nightmare end.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i subscribe who has said this before.. this has got to be the slowest, most painfull idle game... jeez... otherwise I would end up playing for much more time, but like this... as soon as I get the achievement I will try to forget that even came across this piece of crap.

This game is easily top 10 worst games I've ever played, and I was around for Sonic '06. Now that I have my medium badge, good luck to anyone still reaching for it, you'll need it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, they were right. You can get the medium badge by playing "a few minutes a day". But what they don't tell you is that it takes weeks of logging into the slowest, most tedious, least imaginative game on Kong! Thank Jeebus it's finally over; now I never have to think about this travesty ever again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When do i actually play? Seriously guys stop investing time and money for these crappy non-game (to both devs and players)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I didn't want to go through the mindless grind of several resets for medium badge, so I stuck it out for a single run, checking back every few days. Got easy badge on first day on October 5th, and only JUST NOW got medium badge, November 3rd. One month for a medium badge is insane, even for an idle game. Time to drop the game like a rock now and never look back. Pls no-one spend money on this garbage pile.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm not a fan of idle games, but I can understand the appeal of some of them. Not this. Not this slow, tedious, visually dull pile of crap. There is no strategy. There is no planning. There are no exciting unlocks that will completely alter the way you play on your next reset. Nothing builds up or changes. You could play this game for months (in theory, I mean! Hopefully no one attempts this!) and your screen would still look exactly the same as a first day player.

When it takes weeks of semi-dedicated play, or at least a week of very dedicated play to get the Medium Badge, and the game developers tell you that you can't judge whether it is a good game or not until you get past that point, you can tell it is a bad game. A good game has something in the initial gameplay to make you want to come back.

In comparing this to other idle games, I'm left wondering whether the upgrades are intentionally all over the place or if the developer just chose random numbers. Even using a heat map to find ideal upgrades did little to ease the burden of this extremely slow-paced, tedious idler. If your cycle is going to be this slow, there should be SOMETHING to speed it up that isn't *SPEND SOME MONEY THAT MAKES IT GO FASTER*. I get it...you made this to make money; no one in their right minds would spend money on something this boring. The promise that it gets better if you just wait is hollow; it's effectively the same as saying "it's only good if you've spent money on it". There is little you can do to this game to make it better, but there is one option: abandon it. Stupid badge hoarding...EXTREMELY mismatched reward for the investment, and this terrible experience has ruined any chance that I'll ever take your development seriously.

What the hell adding x9 profit for 30 bars then it's only x3 for 20? I want all the bars back I put into those upgrades to be back at 0? I could get way further on those bars this is bullshit
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it takes weeks for the medium badge if you don't get on every day, not to mention it's the slowest idle game I've ever played. One star.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Instead of "buy to ___" and "buy exact," there should be a "buy to next upgrade" option. When it stops being at every 100, you have to check the trophy room to decide if each purchase is worthwhile. That's just silly.

I finally got the medium badge... beware it took me a bit more then 3 weeks and had no fun.
I also had a problem/bug, which i suspect was intentionally: by logging every day you can get rewards, but once in a few days this seemed to reset for me (ensuring I could never get more then the 3-4th daily reward instead of the full week... which wouldve let me buy a permanent profit booster... and might have made this lvl3 city agony slightly faster)

I am not well into week 3 on trying to get the "level 3" badge. This is absolutely ridiculous. I spend about 30 seconds each day on it because there is literally no gain in regards to funding and leveling up. I WILL get this badge but I will never play again once I get it. THIS IS ATROCIOUS.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you're only here for badges (and lets face it - why else would you waste time on this crapola?) don't bother upgrading the mine. You can't do anything with iron until you've unlocked the port at level3. By then you'll have the badges and be outa here/

I have seen the developer comment that this game get good after the event is unlocked, but that would take weeks at this rate. Honestly I'm sick of this game already. Why not just make it interesting from the begining?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So I finally got the medium badge. Two weeks is only if you play better than I did. It took me THREE. And that was with the various daily rewards. I was just playing sub-optimally apparently. What a long, boring nightmare this was. I'm finally free. After 22 days of play I can confidently say it's still boring, ugly, and takes a thousand years to load for no reason. Goodbye soulless loading screen children.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Two weeks of utter tedium just for a medium badge, but at least I've got it now. I'm so done with this sorry excuse for a game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
that game is just a copy. U gave all the stuff just other names, thats it. Such an Idle game, every1 can "develop" in a very short time. Absolutely NO NEW concepts. From buildings up to the event. Just a copy. Very sad.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Boring, tasteless, and obnoxious music. This is a shameless cash-grab at best, but I'd honestly be surprised if devs even make back their production costs on the few suckers willing to sink a dime into this excuse of a game. Idle games are cashing in on Kong's sell-out policy right now but it can only last so long, at which point all takers making that gamble will tank, and good freaking riddance.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is the second worst idle game I have ever played. I've played it for nearly two weeks and there is nothing special about this game. If it takes more than two weeks for it to differentiate itself than it's not a good game. I know this game has existed for several months but it feels like it's still in Alpha testing. I hope the developers fix these issues, but it seems that they have designed it this way so they can just get people to give them money to get past these hurdles.

Hey Devs, how about making it so that we can use multiples of the boosts (1hr, 2hr, 1D, 10D), or have a system for trading in multiples for a higher boost? I have over 200 1hr, and I just don't feel like clicking 3 times for each of them.

This is my first comment on a Kongregate game... and I've been playing for a bit. I've been grinding for a few weeks now and still haven't found anything worth actually playing for. After accessing "events" and the "agents" it is still lacking. It is true that more is available at this level but the spacing becomes so ridiculous (even after a 1000X multiplier in the mix) that it's unplayable. More than two weeks and not even breaking level 7, when there are initial items that show level 30, is insane. If you want to make it less of a psychological mind-break please remove anything that references beyond level 10 from the initial game screen, your players are obviously figuring you out pretty quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The best thing that this game has offered me are the comments from other players. That made me laugh. I tend to like some idle games for a change of pace. This didn't make it. At all. Once I'll get the badge, I'm outta here.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
With all the other idle games out this and all the innovative things that have been done, this is the best you guys could come up with?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So, the cartoonish characters... The apparent lack of diversity feels low enough to be on purpose. Pairing that with the religious theme, I'm getting a bad feeling about these folks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So every run your city lvl resets...understand that. But you have to lvl up to open everything again??? Personally I think some of this content should be a 1 off open. Reach this lvl and say event permanently opens.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So I've been playing this game every day for almost 3 weeks and I'm now at level 9. Nothing new is going to happen until level 14, when apparently a lot more things open up. But that's going to take another week or so. I'm starting to ask myself why I'm doing this....
