Ok so at level 110 warehouse, the materials required to upgrade it exceed the actual warehouse limit. Did i miss something?

Good afternoon HolydayStudios.
I have done a little bit of number crunching on the game, and I believe that if you make the warehouses 35-37.5% cheaper, the materials buildings give 22.5-25% more, the services sector buildings 12.5-15% cheaper and give 20-22.5% more, then the whole game would neatly balance out.

So far, i don't see why people are so againts the actual system. Well maybe if the you were telling in the description that manager for production raise the production and the limite of stock people would understand more and add a message once they reach the point of upgrading cost more than what they can stock that they need to hire a production manager to raise the stock limit would help. On the other hand, i think the 3x bonus you gave is needed to really enjoy the game. I know it is an idle game, but still, to be a game you need to actually play and not wait all the time. For my part, i havent refreshed since a lot of days so im still with the 3x from 3000 + rating :D. Anyway, i tested the port on an other PC and not sure if that really Worth something vs the 3x bonus. Sounds nice tho. and GZ for your game i do really enjoy it. Im moving to town 3 today with my new production manager so i should get more bonus from food today..woot!
Hello there, there have been many bug fixes since then, plus the Port is a big X bonus :) Also if you refresh your browser every time you want to play, you support the developers in order to keep improving the game :)

Liking the port, but there definitely needs to be a link to the port page from the city facilities page. Going back and forth between the two of them (say, because you want to spend a bunch of resources that you have in port) is super-awkward.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you still dont get the point port is fine but dont solve anything just increase the base stock from 100 to 200-250. you missed scalling somewhere

I have the same problem as EmiS3, unable to store enough material in warehouse to be able to upgrade the warehouse. I think you may have made a mistake in your calculations there guys. Other than that an excellent game, thanks :)

Port system is good. But now i have in Warehouse 8.910 Mat (size is 197) and can't buy, becouse it cost 8.936 Mat :( Why???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@GannonSol I totally agree on that 69non is such a barrier. I suggest that selling resource contribute 1%(which is lower than the normal 10% income) towards fee instead of nothing right now.

The warehouse limit is a way of telling you it is time to soft reset. which at a certain point you should be doing just about every time you have enough personal funds to get a new manager. Keep in mind this is an IDLE game that came out 6 days ago. Instant gratification is not what the idle genre is for. besides, with the new port feature and the goods pricing, its gotten almost silly easy to push to the next reset.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
People~ the whole point of warehouse being a limiting factor is to force you reset and purchase managers and investments.
And for those commenting on exp resetting, if u have not realized that exp is based on numbers of employees which increases as building levels up. It makes total sense that you move on once you grow your town big enough, not just accumulate enough arbitrary numbers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
no, there is a super long delay getting the 69NON needed for the next warehouse manager. Port's haven't helped me at all. Screw this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Torthak and everyone else complaining about warehouse, just fricking play a day or bit more and get all the managers you can and you will EASILY break the point where warehouse is stopping you down and you'll get to point where i am, i which case you are OUT of resources and need them badly to progress! :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Warehouse is all messed up, upgrade cost is now 819.646 thousands mat. while my cap for mats is 785.000 O.o I could hire PineApple HQ for 3x storage bonus, but I have 35 Sext and gonna need like 2 days more playtime to get to 170... Insane unbalance! Also getting to personal lvl 3 is just way too hard!

On the left side of the office, can you change it to "Resources / Stock" instead of '&' ? Uber serif-y cursive font makes the '&' look like a J or G or something.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
can't upgrade my warehouse cuz i can't hold enough to upgrade my warehouse. lol wut? what game has people complain this much about this one thing and doesn't change it?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
my data got wiped, i can see from other comments that this has happened, is there any way i can get my gameplay back, i just got to city level 4 and the manager was billy the animal legend i think, he affected resources and stock by x 10, i hope you can fix this soon
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
in fact im stuck again.... cant store enough mat to upgrade w`house to make more space for more upgrading , now even clearing space with `get` i hit a limit again
SUGGEST - more w`house space upgrades in atomic lab "x2 space @ 50m/100m/200m/400m/800m etc" - would keep things slow but achieveable with some idle time - and the port can store any excess goods now
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow the port is one of the best ideas ive seen put into a game in as long as i can remember , the get and send is a brilliant feature, the stock levels have been a limiting factor for upgrading for a long time

I am stuck at 283 warehouse at the moment at lvl 3 town.. to upgrade, it takes 1.341 bil. My warehouse limit is 1.278 bil. Next product upgrade as manager is at 69 Non. Considering my profits are in Sept/sec range even with break effect, this will take days.. =P Looking forward the warehouse update very much.
You will have to buy businesss in game for achievements, there is not a single thing that takes days in holyday city :) The max waiting time is some hours if you buy all things you can buy :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If my fee is 10 percent of the money generated in town, and I have generated 15 nonillion in town, then why don't I have 1.5 nonillion waiting for me in my office?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Stuck at warehouse lvl 283, @ 1,278 bilion cap.
Next upgrade at 69 nonilion..... which means that it'd take ~120h with my actual income xD Thank godness you've implemented port.... It will cut waiting to like 20h? :D
You are probably missing some upgrade somewhere, before port the maximum waiting time for manager was ~12 hours and it was in town level 5 :P Now with port that 12 hour becomes ~5 hours :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To those saying it is impossible to increase the warehouse past stock limit 55,000: It is possible though you may need to get some profits in your office to get a manger that increases it (all mangers that say Resources and Stock #X will increase it) or upgrade the warehouse in the city facility using apples. (Currently I have a stock limit of 1.247 Billion with warehouses at level 276)

Feature request:
1. Show next trophy rewards in the main screen tooltips.
2. Stop at whole 100s -> stop at next trophy. (to avoid future problems if next trophy is not at 100s.)

Hawkmanuno while it does make sense on some level, it just that the wording makes it seem like you are part of the operations at the port. If you had control of the port then it works to say that the port is 'sending' to a warehouse and that the port is 'getting' items, but only if the character is the one that runs the shipping operation in that port. It makes more sense to think of it as the manager/company/player sending items to the port and getting items from the port.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sorry to tell, but even with port I guess it is a looooong way to get another manager. Still takes about 24h to get 2 nonilions.... Not to mention how long does it take to earn required 10 nonilions...
Lab should have more things to invent. More 'frequent' stuff i guess... Consider making something cheap, that will speed up/increase revenue by a small amount (2-5% each upgrade). Because gap between 650 mln, and 50 trillions is HUGE! - 24h after last research and I still dont have even 1/100 (more like 1/1000) of required tech for next invention....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Same goes with upgrades bought by materials, energy and food......
After 15 minutes I've bought all upgrades... and after 24h I STILL CAN'T upgrade ANYTHING.. the gap between milions and quadrilions is overwhelming.
Last but not least. IMHO achievements for resource giving buildings should give bonus yeld (of that building). Maybe consider making Combo Achievements - when you've got 100's of each building you get bonus "something" - like 500 factory, powerplant and farm gives x2 werehouse space bonus.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The gaps between the buildings aren't all equal in size and it's really messing with my autism. The gap between columns 3 and 4 are the worst, please fix.

The port update helps, certainly, since preventing the waste of resources mitigates the worse aspects of the warehouse system. However, there's still the issue that it can become literally impossible to upgrade the warehouse, requiring more materials for a single warehouse than all your warehouses can store combined. That scaling can make it impossible to continue with the game until you reset, and are able to purchase another stock increase... which itself just delays the problem, since it doesn't affect scaling; it just makes the numbers bigger.
Looking forward to seeing what you're doing to fix this!

BraveDogBFG: Well, strictly speaking, when you click on the "Port" button, you're basically taking a trip down to the port, instead of staying in town where the warehouses are. As such, it does make perfect sense to get stuff to the port, and send it back to the warehouse.

I love the port system. It's a much more creative and elegant solution than simply rebalancing the warehouse cost or capacity. There are some points, though, where your material stock can only afford one or two warehouses, even at full capacity. So the process to increase your warehouses is a little tedious (unless I'm doing this wrong):
1) Click to buy one or two warehouses,
2) Click the port,
3) Click 'Send' materials,
4) Click 'Town',
5) Repeat 1-4 until material stock is all gone (or you can no longer afford even one warehouse)
It would be nice to have some kind of button on the town page to consolidate steps 1-4 above into a single click, perhaps around the warehouse buttons.

My progress got wiped! Was this supposed to happen with the new update of export/import saved data? I had a level 3 town and all the managers up to and including Bob, The Agriculture Manager! Thank you for your help!
