The devs are everyday in the chat and discuss with us and listen to our ideas and suggestion and update the game constantly. The 2 brothers that run Holyday studios seem very real to me and this is their work. They asked our support because some no lifer junkie, scammer wants to make money of them. And this is NOT RIGHT. They have my support. I played Holyday City for months and now i play Midas Gold since they released it and i am happy with the game. Nobody forced you to play it and nobody asked your for money. I play for free and i see no walls like i do in other games. So i believe that both of you Sandoumir and Antigaprime are wrong.

Maybe 50 people see this for what it is, a money grabber after abandoning their other game which is far from finished, but probably not gaining enough money anymore from HighScore junkies purchasing overpriced bonuses.
If you are still balancing and if it really is far from improved, maybe adding payment options is the least of your worries , and true the +/- 4 rating is 'because' of the Kreds, not despite. Waiting for another Buggeria BotD which does the same for Kong: generate income.

KONG admins always adjust/increase the ratings of games like these kind of games - games that have KRED options. Normally you would have had a MUCH lower rating, with or without this "blackmailer". And think to yourself, perhaps there's a reason some people are so extreme in their methods. Not saying whatever this person did is right, but you should still think about why they did it in the first place. Also, your comment responses leave a lot to be desired - You seem so incredibly fake and insincere. See before believe.

If you want us to play the game for months, you'll only achieve this through content, not through insane grind mechanics. Just abandon this F2P stuff and add a donate button if that's really your concern.

If prices aren't increased, then how is it that I bought an upgrade for 250 B and then, after the reset, buying the same upgrade, the cost was 250 e2? And it was the same one, there are only a few limited special upgrades that are asy to recognize.

You're killing me guys! Diamonds spent on research are returned after reset! I've been doing all these calculations and trying to figure out when buyng the researches will be worth losing the diamonds. Minus one star for that! (Just kiddind.) At least you guys updated the game to tell give that information. Most Devs release a game and just forget about it, no matter how buggy it is.

Great new update. I noticed my last comment got downvoted into oblivion, but I think I know why. I forgot to mention I use an autoclicker set to my natural highest clicking speed (I just assumed everyone did the same.) People who don't probably found the game to move much slower than I did, but with the second Champion being automatically unlocked now, I've found clicking to be detrimental and slower than Idle Mode. I still think this is a very good game with the potential to be a great game, especially with the constant updates the developers keep releasing.

audrey is way better than gilligan. Even when I am in rage mode clicking as much as possible, it still isn't as good and is more time consuming. Rage mode should be stronger than Idle in my opinion.

In later part of game other buildings than Wizard Guild is unprofitable. Seriusly. I Sugest more powerfull upgrades of lower tier building after "Qi".

thanks for the feedback ! As you proceed you will notice that the game works with phases at the moment. Also its very important to upgrade your University Knowledge researches on all buildings :)

I don't understand why people attack you so much guys. I play since day one and i didn't have to pay to proceed, i play for free. Also the balancing is very good in my opinion. After your last update the game is faster than any other idle i have played on Kong. Keep up the good work, you are my favorite developer since Holyday City that i am also fan. 5/5 in both your games !

you know, honestly, you're getting a lot of hate but have a high rating of stars, not because of the game. no offense but this game has faults up the ass that i think playing without an auto clicker would make it unbearable. But, you keep responding, are promising updates and are trying to talk to every single person that comments. Thats pretty outstanding. Keep at it, hopefully the game can catch up in terms of quality to match.

I think it would be great to add some arrows at the tutorial. Just hiding some of other menu with an textbox isn't very helpful.

The game is just getting unbearably slow, the way i see it the next cool thing i will unlock is the scarlet the shadow hero but the speed im going after four days... im pretty sure id unlock it after a month or two. Combined with the really far apart upgrades that dont really feel like theyre adding that much to the game is making me pretty discouraged to continue. At the moment im at 10sp/s @ 38m diamonds.
I feel holyland had a much better curve and feel of progres in it.

In responce to previous quote. Sure, you don't HAVE to buy gems, you just flash or highlight the option to use gems for actions, every chance you get. You can tell us "No, you don't need them" all you want, but when it comes down to it, you focus on trying to sell them to people and highlight that. Still keeping it 1/5 stars. You guys obviously are ignoring every type of critique you are getting with generic responces.
no we dont ignore any response at all. Thats why we are constantly updating the game in order to keep it playable for free ! Its different to give an option for support to the people who want and can support us and different to ignore people. Today we are even gonna release new version for balancing. we capped them to 20 not to 22. We did this to reduce the gap between autoclicking players and Manual Hand. Wait to see the new feature it the next update later today :) you will be amazed !

Ranger guild and wizard guild look the same. and i see a lot of ranger guild upgrades and few wizard upgrades, did you confuse the 2
there is a difference in the graphic, different windows. front entrance sign. Magic blue balls instead of flowers etc. Its not confused. The many upgrades are to keep up the pace of the Rangers guild while you are on the phase of the Wizards guild overpower :)

It's not stupid, it's just a balencing issue, and we want you to know that we expect you to playtest the game before you release this to the general public.

The in app perchases are not bad, it's just that the games unbalenced. Rebalence the game so that these gems come as insane boosters instead almost the only way to get by decently.

All the pay to play comments are absurd. If these aren't all the spammer, then there are a lot of stupid people. This game isn't pay to play, and this developer makes some great idle games. Regular updates, pays attention to comments and feedback.
thanks a lot for the support :) Our intention is to keep the game playable and fun for free. Of course we need support from anyone who is willing to support with kreds since this is a real life job for us, but this is different. The game will always be free to play.

the developer "official" answer is a new update with rebalancing and more boost. Gems are optional and not required in order to play !! Thanks for the feedback and telling us your concerns though :) We would love to hear a lot more feedback from you in order to improve Midas Gold !!

honestly, horrible rate of progression without an autoclicker. As amazing as cookie clicker was its like that, but with shit tons of less upgrades and options to make you feel like your progressing. used a solid auto clicker for a while and honestly, it seems like without it would take 3-5 days to reach raids and the last 2 buying options. this may be the source of "pay to play" complaints.

It's hard to tell which comments are legitimate and which are the spammer, but the people complaining about there being no way to earn Gems without paying are way off base. I've been playing this game for several days and have progressed at a perfectly reasonable speed, especially with the constant tweaking the Devs are doing. I haven't had any reason, nor motivation, to buy any Gems. The premium content is purely for those who are impatient and wish to proceed faster, it's not needed to enjoy the game, unlike some other games I've played.

Good game, but I used an autoclicker going at 10ms and it took a half day of grinding. I got past the clicking stage, only 65,000 diamonds! The idle is far better but still requires you to be active to get fast diamonds, or wait like overnight for a decent haul. Better balancing I think, I like that I am always doing something. I don't like that I accidentally closed the window and my Raid didn't progress while I was away. It should be offline time for Raids as well thanks.

Balancing is completely messed up, though the basics are well done. If it stays like this I won't keep playing this game. Btw. the IAPs are not only expensive, but also pretty weak and useless. An epic chest costs 200 kreds which is $23.80. Are you serious?

I have serious doubts who this allegedly blackmailing spammer is. As this spammer appeared right at the moment the players vanished as everyone realized this is dead end game without paying. Upgrade raising +1% crit dmg takes 1 hour. Suddenly, last 15 comments, many negative got downvoted to -5. I've switched to Undead clicker, even if it's clone of Idle heroes, but well balanced. Today, I've came to see updates on Midas and all I see is mysterious spamer, dev asking for upvotes and tags and ridiculous pay to play model. I give 80% chance this spammer is some angry pissed kid (we have plenty of those at Kong). But I give 20% chance this is devs false flag. All mess appeared at moment people realized this game is about $$$ and stoped playing. What bugs me most is that you can only create 2 or 3 accounts on 1 IP. This spammer isn’t angry kid but someone tech savvy. Just my 2 cents. I really hoped this owuld be great game but it doesn't come close to holiday idle and it's freemium.
We dont ask you to upvote our comments, but the people comments. Also why would we want our game to have Submarine Tag ? Also 12 hours ago we released a new version that speeded up the game. You are wrong on your assumptions and even kongregate staff logged in the game and confirmed the problem yesterday. They even made 3 false tags to be -999 on votes. We even asked everyone to upvote your comment that is one of the most negative comments in the game. So you are wrong.

I actually have to agree. Although the blackmail-spammer is a, well, spammer, I gotta say, having an inability to get the premium gems without paying is kinda murky waters for me. Either allow people to earn premium currency, or I will retain the 1 star of 5. Not that this is a bad idle game.
there is no way to earn Gems at the moment :) But its not needed. The game is designed to be played for free. If you want to donate for support then and only then you can spend a few $. Its not required though. As for the 1/5 rating, we believe that if you go on and play it a little more you will change your opinion :)
