Quick! Deploy LAG POWERS of sending in a bunch of troops before they can build defenses, it's the only way we monsters can win in this unbalanced game!

Good way to improve it by making a better arrangement for the swordsman and the barrack so you can easily upgrade the soldier, and probably shortcut like 1-9 is good for the soldier, for easier selecting the characters. Make the characters smaller and with more distance between each other would increase the friendly user inside the game. And make change on the soldier arrangement so it won't overlapping. In my point of view, the game is just too fast, hard to upgrade the soldier when they moving a lot and when the enemies just increasing like crazy. Upgrade in pause menu would be a good improvement, or should add slow movement options, or something else.

I think that Level 20 is now far too difficult. I don't mind, as a player, to take 2 steps forward, and lose one step back, but to lose every building in a vertical column each time the boss rampages, means that the player can never get a step ahead. At best it's a case of for every mage you build up, you lose that same mage, or even worse, I feel that construction is always on the back foot, going backwards. Plus, for the price you pay for a fully upgraded fire storm, it should be globally more destructive than what it currently is. It only seems to affect the troops on the ground level, leaving some of them intact, and not touching any troops on the platforms at all. The game at Level 20 is a quantum leap from the difficulty experienced in the first 19 levels. I think it should be eased a little by having the Boss attack only the front Barracks, and/or only being able to destroy the top-most barracks when it rampages onto a stacked set of barracks.

@palaeontology: The boss at lev 20 takes a shitload of damage. Build a "sacrificial barracks" in front of the others. When he reaches it he'll autodestroy it and warp back to the start. Other than that, it's the usual tactics of fire mages + rain spell. Rince repeat.

This has potential, and I really want to like it, but after a while the game just boils down to the repeating the same tasks over and over again -- cast slow spell to overcome the initial rush while trying to ignore the mouse lag, wait incredibly long time for a level to finish while repeating the same tasks performed in the last level, upgrade until you realize you need to be manually upgrading your soldiers in order to "heal" them, play next level and do it all over again. After defeating the first boss and realizing that upgrading the staff from level 20-30 gives a huge boost in mana regeneration, the game has become way to repetitive. A better UI and greater variety of enemy AI behaviors would improve this game by a long shot.

need shortcut key for you troop selection and placing barrack. difficult to select troop or place barrack when many troop overlapping. also when you select a troop, give it a name or number to differentiate it from the other similar troop or place an aura around selected troop.

Its quite a nice concept and has nice looks but on the other hand it gets boring pretty fast. Just upgrade ur staff, get ur mana recharged faster then before and kill all there is with ur almighty powahs!
The Skilltree doesnt give anything new, just upgrades ur units so they start off with a higher lvl. Im sry but thats no skill at all.

Fun game but needs some work. Biggest thing would be a way to select your units on a toolbar or something, because trying to click one of your knights gets hard and knowing that you did click on the correct one is just about impossible. Would also be nice if there was a way to heal your units without having to upgrade them. I almost did not want to use my stars to upgrade my soldiers because that was one less heal I was able to give them by upgrading them durring the battle. With a few minor changes this could be a very fun game with great replay value!

When placing a barrack or unit, a click should NOT select an existing unit instead! It's frustrating when instead of placing a barrack, the upgrade menu opens up instead.

damn my bad needed archers at level 10 simply but how should anyone know it ??? specialy when til level 10 i only used fire mages

I forgot to to mention, browser and quality don't matter. I can't touch 12% usage on my machine on max, and the response is still slower than molasses in january

grafics are okay, sound is too - though doesn't seem to match the games mood at all
game itself is absolutly no challenge and thus gets boring soon.

Every one in a while my units will kill an enemy off screen and then I cannot grab the mana tubes which I really need.

I rated this a 4 because while there are plenty of flaws, there are a lot of good things about this game and it looks great. You seem to really care about how the game is received and have been making fixes. I hope you make more games in the future.

While I do enjoy the game I feel I must agree with other players who felt the balance was off. The game makes it to easy for the player to just fill the screen with fire mages and win every time. My suggestion would be to give varying enemies special defenses and immunity from certain attacks. Like an orc with fire proof armor. It would force the player to use a variety of Dragmanards on the screen to protect the manor and would make the game more challenging without having to revamp all of the characters.

Fighting all those enemies sure looks fun. Shame all I get to do is wait for mana, click a unit and click upgrade. There's no strategy, no action (that I'm part of), nothing to do. Could be a fun idle-type game if you put in x4 x8 speeds, made killing a unit automatically give me mana (what's the point of making the player click on beakers) and gave unit portraits at the top so I could easily track my unit levels and click the right soldier to upgrade. Also, let me stack barracks so I can set up mages at different heights. I typed this whole comment while the game was going and still got 3 stars on the level.

Elf’s attack 25X3 arrows = 75 AP base, on all heights. Elf for effectiveness on Bosses, and all heights, solely because of triple arrow, Hunter for speed on one height. Fire Mage's single attack (base at 350, going up 50 per level up) really packs a punch, plus it's better speed. While the Water Mage's attack can hit all in front of it, making it very useful in packs, as Elf, (base attack of 100, increasing 25 per level up) it's speed is half of Fire Mage. Water Mage for effectiveness against hoards, Fire Mage for single enemy effectiveness. Barbarian has greater base attack, and attack increase, but is unbelievably slow, with a sad 2 points in base speed, and only 20 Health increase (from a base 500 health points). Paladin has slightly less attack, but 100 more base health, and a 50 point health increase. Paladin has a base 10 Speed, and a much better speed point increase. Paladin for speed, health, and all around effectiveness. Barbarian has too little speed to be useful.

There is a really fatal flaw in the game, and it's that the units will cost too much after being upgraded. It's actually better to wait before upgrading some of them, because if you don't you won't be able to recruit them due to a lack of mana and you will be overrun. This needs to be changed.

In addition to what Kholai is saying, also the targeting is abhorable. Such a great concept and fun gameplay, almost ruined by how hard it is to correctly select the unit you want (not to mention even picking up mana pots). Too much on the screen and too hard to specifically select a unit.

Max out Dragon staff level before adding to anything else.
You gain mana so fast when you do you basically are spending the whole wave just trying to spend the mana as fast as you gain it.
Just finished wave 13 with 5 maxed out warriors 2 maxed out mages and 4 maxed out bowman and still had max mana(3800) to spend.
Dragon staff is worth it

Also, the upgrade feature is atrocious. The soldiers move too fast for me to be able to do anything. And since they're typically constantly moving, I end up clicking on the wrong one, which causes the one I'm TRYING to upgrade to die.
Maybe have a mass upgrade button for each warrior class, so you don't have to try to click on the right one that doesn't sit still?

wtf happened?! Suddenly everything is way to fast, I haven't got time to place or upgrade my units and can't get past lvl 15. I place a soldier, upgrade it once to palladin and there goes my first level on the tower...

After reading many of the comments, and currently giving my fourth try to beat level 20, I'd like to suggest letting the melee units regenerate when they were in their starting positions.---
This would make the barbarians more focused on attack, as they wouldn't be full life near as often, being so slow, and yet would allow the paladins to have more staying power and less tedium. I've found the archers have their uses, but the melee is the last to place down, instead of the first, which is often the case in games anyway. You get a couple infantry on the field, then pull out the archers, then pull out the mages. This is done the opposite due to no healing and semi-poor micromanagement.

I liked this a lot, and it has a lot of potential. Definitely do something about the speed, at later levels (i'm only on 18ish) it's really almost unbearable, even on "low". Upgrading seemed kind of weird, and it was usually in the way of bottles and such. Bottles were hard to pick up too, perhaps just a simple "hover over to collect" system would be more user friendly. I've missed one or two because of last-second miss-clicks.

Pretty boring. Only tried the first few levels, but so far everything is beatable by putting all upgrades into Staff for mana regen and then adding Mages.

Typically I try to make sure I do NOT DragMaNards, as that would hurt quite a bit. Especially on rough surfaces such as concrete.

Game mechanics are meh, but I like the style. Simple concept for a mobile app or something similar, improve the design a bit and you have a winner. Good luck.
