I discovered the game series today, when i went to kongregate's main page and noticed the third one, so i decided to play the first one.
Spent the next hour playing all three games, and i don't regret a minute of it. I was glad to see the improvement in both graphics and game-play (mostly noticeable in the second game).
Anyhow, I absolutely loved it!!!
Shivering with anticipation for the 4th part! GOOD JOB!

nice game; it took quite some time to figure out the way but it was definitely worth the time. just one question afterwards: what does the first machine in the cave show? it seems to be useless :o

Good game..But the previous one was a bit longer..wish the next one would be 4X longer then this episode..Love it men. With the suspense and background monster that pop randomly at your screen on the lower bottom left

amazing game ones again
but somthing happened to me in the tree puzzle
i clicked somwhere on the screen, and got the drill before i opened the door
then with the magic round stone i opened the tree door and the room was empty!
i have no idea what happen
but still good game
hard yet short

I was fine with the game until the cave part. That freakin jump-ghost-scare-thing must've followed me around afterward, and he gave me heart attacks every time he popped out ._.

This game freaked me out, made me forget my coffee (which went cold), and offered enough diversion to enter the weekend without thinking of work - this is a gem.

I really enjoyed that the seeing stone worked on nearly every screen, showing little extra bit here and there. Great attention to detail.

If theres one genre I always enjoy, it has to be point and click adventures. I was waiting forever for the 3rd part. So excited!

As usual a great game, and I love the subtle comedy all throughout. One of my favourites: "You shovel in some coal. Just kidding. It's a house. Not a train."

Great atmosphere, like the previous two episodes. Keep up the good work!
The insertion of rooms, items and characters not puzzle-related is a good idea. It also helps longevity without the need of brain crushing puzzles.

Suggestion: add a percentage or anyway that we can see how far the game is loaded. I have realy realy slow internet (my problem i know) and i can't see for how long i need to wait. Its just nice to have a clue and i think it isn't hard to implement ;)

I liked the previous ones, but having that sudden appearance continually happen during a puzzle put me completely off continuing. It's especially annoying since you've already got a special tool for seeing creepy hidden stuff that puts you on edge and having it show up something like that would have been perfect.
No. I'm not real familiar with Harry Potter, but I did see the first movie, but I don't remember a Dobby. He's like a goblin or something right? Or like Gollum?

Also...I'm having so much damn fun just screwing around click on objects with other objects...your humor is just great. Some of these things are making me lol hard.

I gotta admit, I tried to not like these games. Mostly because a lot of the puzzles in the last 2 annoyed me. But, the story has stayed great this whole time and I do enjoy PaC's. So, I failed in not liking it and am looking forward to what you've cooked up in part 3.

The imp was horrifically haunting. It wasn't ...too cheap. It was more justified than cheap; but always scary. It made me keep on my toes, but not become paranoid.
I can see how it would be scary for others, though. :C Itpoppedupattheendtoo!
Yeah, in the next game I plan to explain everything about him and hopefully people will better understand why I put him in the game like that. I didn't intend him to startle players so much as to just creep them out and make them feel constantly watched.

*about to play
*notices the game is rated 3.83
*rates game 5 stars, turns to 3.84
*spends two hours spamming 1 star to 5 stars changing overall rating

@Hyptosis, you've acknowledged several times that the lack of mute-button was an honest mistake, and that's fine... so are you going to do an update to put one in?

I got a bit stuck, decided to browse in another tab for a bit while I cleared my head before coming back.
Forgot this was even up...damn near had a heart attack when they started singing "Ring Around the Roses"...
<3 I didn't think it was that hard really, but of course I wrote it. All of my playtesters beat it fairly quickly. If anyone is having trouble, I uploaded the solutions to youtube, watch mine though, not those other peoples. :P

I really hate that imp because hate jump-scares...
and when they appear while I am solving a puzzle it makes the game completely
unplayable for me...

Too bad the drill puzzle isn't solvable as posed. With the solution you can sort of see how it would more or less fit to the riddle, but it's not the only reasonable solution, there is nothing making the orientation unique, or anything of the kind. With the lens the puzzle is easily solved, but then there's a puzzle order problem in the design. Also, maybe I didn't try every possible combination and location, but neither the coin nor the flute seem to do anything of value. That's too bad. Other than that, the game is atmospheric, and an interesting take on the old fairy tale.
