i like how u dont change anything in the next games, you just continue the storyline, and thats it, no new interface no new graphics, im not sarcastic, i srsly like that alot

"the door is STILL locked." (hall of the templars)
i also laughed when Warren said he'd rather be in the sewer than deal with the snobbish people in city hall..."we're both walking through trash" (something like that)

I think there should be more than one solution for each of the puzzles. For example, popping off the lock or the grate to get into the sewers, handcuffing the staff or using perfume from the alchemist or showering to get through the kitchen, etc etc. There were a lot of things that seemed logical, but didn't work so I had to play hunt the spot to click which isn't fun.

Nice characters and nice soundtrack, but the game is too easy and too short. The story and dialogues could be better. Together with the first part, this would be a great first case and would deserve a 5/5. But this part alone is a 3/5.

''We love our new dish towel, now we just need some dishes.''
LOL
(By the way, nice game, i'm waiting for more cases ;)

Great game, despite it being short. I enjoyed the rat boyz, especially the one with the wooden spoon strapped to his back like a sword. I heard he carved it from a larger spoon like Homer Simpson did.

But ya, definitely seemed rushed, kind of like the short ending you wanted to throw in to the first game but ran out of time/ need some thinking time. Its nice to see your still making games though. Want to play the next one now. =P

would be nice to be able to interact with more things, seems to be more of a random mouse clicking hunt. the art is good and ambience works 3/5

This feels too short and easy for me. Especially what needs to be deactivated in order to move on, at least in comparison to the first game. I wanted more to do with magic as well.

@Hyptosis - Thanks for the response. It was kind of hard to tell by the ending whether the story was finished, was hoping there was more to it. I still think this episode was on the short side, but you've created a wonderful environment to build on and am relieved to hear the story continues.

Hmm. Well, I love the artwork and the atmosphere, a lot of care went into both and it shows. However, overall this seems unfinished. The ending and epilogue seemed abruptly tacked on, like had-to-rush-out-to-catch-a-bus tacked on. A lot of depth and intrigue building up to it, only to finish with "Well, no one knows what happened, or why, or who was responsible. But everyone lived happily ever after anyway". Really? I truly hope this is a short stop in between episodes 1 and 3.
SPOILER -- I'm working on 3 now. I don't think everyone lived happily ever after, some guy might have murdered his brother for personal gain, and got away with it. That sounds like a non happily ever after type thing.

This is so short, it should have been an update to the first installment. Fairly nice once I remembered what the first one was about, though.

The puzzles were all kinda boring, the only puzzling thing was which of the three tools i had to use, but that was solved in at most 3 tries, i really hoped i was going to solve a mystery or something that required some thinking, there seemed to be foreshadowing and clues spread around.
and maybe it's because i didn't play the first one, but the story was virtually none existent, and i won the game despite not going to half the places.
Great art and music, but the game part was really dull, 2/5.

Played it somewhere else, but it's awesome. I loved the arts, I loved the story, I loved the characters and I REALLY loved that piece of music. Awesome track (Kudos to oddfellowfloyd, thx for that mesmerizing sound!), that is one of the things which made the game that awesome. But I have some criticism, too. There are some logic-fails ("Really? With a crowbar?" + Don't remember), the puzzles are very basic, immersion is quite bad (Because you only get a tiny snipped of that whole world. It all feels constructed around the story, instead of having a story embedded into a world.) and - this is plain subjective - I really didn't like the look of "the weapon". Oh... and besides that it's kinda short. But I still had lots of fun playing it and I'd love to see progress on this whole idea. There is lots of unused potential. Keep it up, dude! :)
