Would be nice to see the attack order of friends and foes in a row as seen in Grandia. Another improvement would be the ability to see the life of the enemies (at least optional life bars).

Have you considered plans to expand upon this game with a future patch or sequel, to add new features and to fix bugs and glitches?

Navigating my inventory is a real pain in the tush >_< It's hard to see what I have! Please do something to make it better for me?

the game is good but i found that at a few points in the games i got stuck walking in a certain direction and i couldn't change direction but it is good but must have anove bug tried to refresh the page and try again but it carried on happening

i dont know wheter its abug or not, but when i use freeze snap the enemey nnever attacks afterwards. its like its froozen forever. Very easy way to finish of the end bosses. Freeze them and hit till they fall down.

So far good fun and nice graphics. On the other hand, combat is cumbersome, and 5 encounters per screen is a bit much! It makes progress very slow.

A Huchukalaki Drink costs 15 Rooks and give +50 MP. if used with Cinnacat and Quickbrew skill you can heal all your party members for +70HP. Later with Sunrise skill you can heal all your party full (or near full) at the cost of 15 Rooks. Its not an Inn but i think is better. a portable and very cheap one that you can even use in battle :D. I had fun finding that out. i only use other skills in boss fight or near dead situations. i love how the party art changes with equipment. only thing to criticize is the lack of any keyboard shortcuts. a button for opening the menu should be a good start. Space for mute was not really expected but its a great game, both the story and art is lovely and the gameplay is pretty fun. You may consider adding more musics

Very buggy and clunky, but the art and story (as with all your games) is fantastic. I think with some tweaking you could make the gameplay smoother/less buggy, but I suspect you will probably just stick to your comfort zone of point-and-click games--which is fine, you make some of the best ones out there. :)
Yeah, it feels like a little too much work to try to code/write/paint every single thing. I'll be releasing some more simple games for a while, give myself some time to heal from this. Lol

Protip: 1. Snap Freeze everything. 2. Go make some tea. 3. Enjoy your tasty beverage meanwhile you slaughter every single enemy in the game, including the last boss and his loyal companions.

I don't really know why but sometimes the games bug and I end up frozen on the screen, but the beholder-thingy still are able to move. If your doing a sequel, please add better description for equipment (like: +5 mag def, +2 def or Element: Fire, dmg: 12) in some kind of list or something, maybe some kind of comparison function that makes it easier to see the pros/cons of changing armor. Make it possible to sell stuff. Make an inn. Make it possible to skip the end scene in battles. Also make some kind of encyclopedia in the menu that makes it easy to read about elements and how they affect damage against specific elements and stuff like that. And when you click on a chest hidden behind things, make the "to far away"-text appear in front of blocking objects. I see a lot of potential in this game, and the graphics truly are amazing! Please continue what you're doing, you sir have done a great work and I see forward to play your games in the future!

I very much like that your heroine is not half naked, but has, in fact, put on a believable set of armor. Thank you for that! :)

Lol, starting off with a five party team consisting of a medusa- an attractive one at that XD, the one that started the adventure, a catman that serves as the cleric, a mole-like person, and a badass looking guardian with a ball and chain as a weapon- but looks a lot less under the helmet (Love the guy still). I say you really made a great rp- including the cute beholder following them. If anything, the problems with the game are already stated- my main ones being a lack of an inn. Otherwise, i look forward to seeing more games like this- especially with colorful and variety of characters!
Thanks for the comment and feedback. I'll very likely be using these characters in other games as well, I grew to like them a lot. In fact, Cinnacat is in several of my other games already, check out Guild Dungeons some time. He's one of the heroes in that game. ^_^

Very well done. Not amazing, but an excellent start. Could do with being a little longer, though, and the ending was kinna... Meh, but all in all worth the time to play. I look forward to seeing any future RPG's you put out. I expect great things.

good graphics
too easy
too much equipement (compared to the lenght of the game)
lack of interest of the system of equipement
but thank for your work !
Yeah, I had planned for the game to be a lot longer, but the file size was growing rapidly. I had to stop it at some point, and the number of items saturated it some.

started the game. went into a fight. a bunch of weirdos surrounded me. i didnt even know who i was. i didnt understand what the winged eye following me was. i didnt understand anything. i just understood it felt like playing some strange Final fantasy remake. maybe a good try but.... think of the gamer before making a game, it's not just about wanting to follow a blueprint and getting good graphics, which btw i believe are the only reason the game was, in the end, tolerable.
Getting the graphics, lol, I spent four months painting every frame, coding every step, and learning the entire time. Don't be so bitter. Think of the creator sometime too. We're not all big studios, some of us are just guys by ourselves trying things out and trying to have fun while we're doing it. I had fun making it, and expecting games to not be similar to other games it absurd. Every piece of art is inspired from something. EVERY PIECE. Stay cool, don't be so cranky. ^_^

Cool game, a bit short. There should be a way to sell old equipment and potions, as well as buy equipment. Rooks should also show up in chests a bit more.

OK, finished the game. Most of it is really good. a 4/5. But the health and mp NEVER regenerate. If you have 10 health, then you will have 10 health forever unless you have potions. Seems to not include a way to regenerate these. In a battle without potions, well you better use your magic VERY sparingly.
Yeah, I always find in most games that I never used potions, I thought that was dumb and tried to make them important in my game. Thanks for the feedback.

This is a great example of a game that would be amazing if a little more thought was put into UI and balancing. If you changed it to key-based instead of mouse-based, and made a reason to upgrade things other than strength, it would be one of the best games on kong. Still decent though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Adding multiple savefiles would help. Multiple kong accounts run on the same computer use the same cookies, so to play the game you need to delete your brother/sister/roommates game.

I keep picking up items from chests, but they are never in my inventory. In the small cave, I got a piece of equipment from each chest, but they are not in my inventory..... Where does everything go ??

Great game and all but would be nicer to have some improvements to the HUD. For example lighting up the character name when you're hovering over their character with a healing spell. Allow you to click the character name instead of the characters when targeting is also nice.

beat the game at level 6. put all points directly into attack and used no skills. make it harder next time, but it was great.
If I made it harder everyone would just complain it was too hard. Yes what you did is the easiest way to beat it, but for some people trying new things, different builds, etc, is also fun.

How is it that this game is so underrated? It is a very nice and well done RPG. Amazing one, actually. Congratulations, Hyptosis, for this unique game. I will be looking forward to your next one!
Thanks for the kind words. I knew when I uploaded this game it wouldn't be for everyone, but if only a few people enjoy it then that is good enough for me.

a bit weird... just started and already im stuck. The flying thing seems to be moveing around. Yet wasd or the arrows dont do anything at all
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i like this game and all..but the fighting system should pause while you are trying click on what to do, after all the computer doesnt have a response time and everything.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The menu freeze bug seems to be caused by going to character equipment and just checking equips, not changing equipment. When you actually change the equipment it doesn't freeze. Hope this helps. + So Dev. can see it

Every time I find swords, cloaks, etc...they never show up in my inventory. Health potions show up, but no weapons WTF
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Has potential, but still needs a lot of polish. One particularly irritating feature is constant random encounters combined with restricted save points.

kindly add a quality change from high to low settings... its best for fast playing especially casting spells, character movement, battle animations.... a strategy need whose hero goes first.. i like casting AOE spells for killing enemies FASTER.... ^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
First off I agree with 13lackscaro2... Dat ass... Second going along with the other comments on the fight system, there definitely should be hot keys for attacking and choosing targets. Clicking on individual people is a little bit more time intensive. This is only important because the enemy's attacks are on timer. Lastly, the pricing on the potions is scaled poorly. Buying the smallest health and mana potions are the most cost effective choices. Other than that it's a great game.
