I'm sure it's a nice game, but it lags too much for me. Every 5 seconds or so the mouse freezes on the screen for no apparent reason and makes it unplayable.

MISSABLE ITEM!!!: Before exiting the ship, take the LIGHTER from the locker in the barracks. It can be used in the cave to light a torch, revealing a secret room containing special ARMOR and a HELMET. Once you leave the ship, you won't be able to return, so be sure to take the lighter before you go!

I think the RPG elements didn't blend in well with the exploration/discovery/puzzle theme. Also, the code for the box should always be accessible - as it is, the game can become unwinnable at that point. Nevertheless, it was a great game. I'm definitely going to play the sequel when it comes out. 5 stars.

I definitively can't splash the wall with nanopaint. It doesn't work, in any case, in any point I click onto. I followed the walkthrough but didn't solve the problem in any way. *SIIIIIGH*
It's a pity, I really was appreciating the game.

Nice game, enjoyed it. I particularly liked the interaction between characters, giving the whole thing a more real world feel. Was disapointend the little alien guy didn't turn out to be a baddie, I was sure he was dodgy.

Good game :)
Pretty obvious you don't have much experience in flash, lots of little things that could easily be polished off (if you get dodge higher than 14 nothing can hit you ever for one), but it more than makes up for that with good artwork, logical puzzles, and a storyline that's actually interesting - I really wish more people would write a story to go with the game, it makes it so much more interesting, especially with point-and-click. I mean, it's not like I'm playing this for the puzzles ;)

I'm with tedwierd. I appreciate that you all worked hard on the game, but putting a huge long intro at the beginning and not providing a skip button likely kills most of your audience that might have enjoyed the game and certainly would prevent people from coming back a second time.
Seriously, a 5 minute intro before you even start playing? Web flash games are often impulse plays. It's like putting the chocolate bars and gum by the cash register, but telling people they have to read the entire ingredients and nutritional information on each pack before they buy them.

A little quirky in some ways, but creative and totally worth being just a little annoyed to step outside the box in this genre. Overall, I'm very impressed by this effort, and had a lot of fun playing this game. Great to have a meaningful upgrade system in a casual point and click. More people need to make fresh stuff like this. It's what these kinds of game sites should be about. 5/5

Truly, truly an amazing game. You can't always find games this beautiful and well-written out there. Especially in flash. On top of that it was the first flash game made by this person? Bravo. I look forward quite a bit to your second one. Though it will probably take some time, I'm going to be searching for it every chance I have. Keep up the good work, good writing, good voice acting and good music. Highest rating possibles for this game.

Rated 2/5 because I would have to restart now because I closed the green log thingy. And no, I will not use the code given in the comments to play on.

Awesome, aside from the fact that it took me longer to read the epilogue and credits than it took to beat the game...

"Easy to play with fully voiced characters, mild adult content such as swearing and alien puzzles to solve." Those damn aliens and their XXX rated puzzles!!!! XD

Excellent game, amazed this is a first attempt. Look forward to see more. Not enough games pay so much attention to voice acting. Also the song for the credits is great.

good game, but the puzzles are to easy to figure out or are frustrating (for example, the datapad that goes off after 1 use. being able to use a battery to recharge it would have been helpful). also, the combat was a nice touch though i wish there were more shops or less random encounters. all in all, 4/5

Nice game. Could use hot spot labeling to prevent mindless spam clicking. And the combat rounds take a little bit too long to play out. Maybe showing the messages with a burst animation could reduce the time needed to push the information about dmg and miss.

Past the first puzzle, you get a green data log with a long number passcode. I assume that passcode opens something important. But there's no way to open the log again, and the number is too long to remember. Why force players to restart the game? Just let them open the log again. Something like this so early in the game makes me not want to bother with the rest.

Great game. It was SO hard though. If you don't pay attention to the first data log, you get stuck and have to start over. It took me a while to figure out the order of the buttons etc too. It was still fun.

thought the game was really cool and was wondering if there might be multiple endings depending on what answers you give to people

This is an amazing job you did for your first attempt. Just a few things... First, it was difficult to read the shield gauge. Additionally, it was sometimes annoying to have to press the arrow to move dialogue along (maybe just press SPACE or ENTER). The backgrounds looked a little grainy. Otherwise, it was all good... I'm sure you'll have more animation in the future. A mini-map would help too. Keep up the good work!

Great game! An original storyline coupled with beautiful artwork, well-made background music setting the mood and really good voice acting (some of it hilarious) makes it feel more like a movie with embedded puzzles and RPG elements than a game. At the end I found myself wanting more - it felt too short, despite having used plenty more than the average 25 minutes. Looking forward to the sequel!

Funny. That Pogo Guy sounds like Mr. Burns ;)
@suburban:
You have to click the little blue ball in the top left corner of the screen to start the game.
