I watched an ad and after that the game was frozen. Now its stuck at calculating offline progress. I have refreshed and cleared the cache but doesnt help.
It's 20 min per level. So f.e. lvl 3 buff will be: 20 min with lvl 3 bonuses, 20 min with lvl 2 bonuses and 20 min with lvl 1 bonuses = 60 min total. Also there is offline progress calculation for time you watched ad, so you don't miss a second of game time.. UPDATE: 1.3.0 (90 min per level)
Starting sector is calculated using your equipped items power and starting money to buy upgrades(simulation). So you can survive ~1 min in that sector and enemy ttk ~10s (for average ship)
Wow, i didn't even see an ad longer than 3 mins. Thx for pointing it out, i'll add reward duration scaling to time game is on pause. UPDATE: added in v1.2.3

So 1.1.3 fixed the previous issue I was having. Now on 1.1.51 It gets stuck at the "Downloading (0.0/1)" screen. Bar just keeps scrolling and no progress. On Firefox if that makes any difference to you.
Could you send me a console log from browser? (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Web_Console/Opening_the_Web_Console). Also try ctrl-f5 to refresh page's cache.

Make sure that you have good internet connection. This is not game yet, just download of data files from kongregate.
Before you had no chance to get loot box if sector was lower then (max completed - 20). Now if sector lower then (max - 15) you still have chance to get box but lower. Also there is mastery for loot box drop chance and artifacts with bonus to this stat.

what happend to my gear, they all got nerfed and i get 0/x upgrade even if i had upgraded them... i when did you nerf the rarity mastery ? now im at 16.5 and before i was at 33%.

if you happen to use boxes to upgrade, you get no item to sell, so you can't get your starting sector higher meaning it takes ages to get back where you were and in the process, the drop rate of boxes is so low that it takes hours to fill up 30.

i opened over 300k boxes during the weekend and i got 0 legend. There is something really fishy about your item roll. And dont forget that now we get only 1 item per box so that 5x less chance to get a good item. At that rate, a Legend item that only last 40 upgrade is a slap in the face for the player cuz he may get 1 or 2 in his life.
Before upgrade? You can see current value on current level in "equipped" panel, next value in upgrade button and you want to see item's base value without upgrades?
It's for manual buy. F.e. you have upgrade level = 23 and curent buy mod = 25, then with next upgrade you will get only 2 levels. Just for those who likes numbers ending with 0 or 5 ;)

Went to base and unlocked chests with blue keys. Equipped good equipment and started again. Now the game does not load. Not sure if others have this issue but figured you would want to hear about it.

Feedback: Have a setting to change the numbering format. Have the daily log-in a toggable homepage? I may want to leave it open and not refresh every day. Background changes as you progress in distance. Auto equip.

Bug: I watched an ad, then got 4x dps boost for 20 minutes, then clicked a red ball which gave 2x dps for 10 seconds. This overwrote the 20 minutes boost from the ad.

Bug: Last update make save the boxes left once you open a box but dont save the inventory so if you open and refresh, you lose your new stuff from thoses boxes.

I got problem in receiving daily reward. I clicked the box but I couldn't claim...and not sure why it doesn't appear daily
Hey. You mean "Collect" button didn't close window? Btw, you reward was added to account right before this windows show up, because i first check daily login, add keys\DS on server if needed and then show this message. Daily login has min interval of 24 hours and max of 48.

This game has been much improved I think with last days updates. Now its really useful to get an item with a higher rarity.

Absolutely adored your last game. I would suggest that you change the text preceding the video ad to make it very clear that the player is about to open an ad. Right now it feels a bit sneaky.

So your reset for sp refunded the ships sp without removing the ships so it was basically free sp you might want to do something about that.
Nah, beta present :) Really forgot about ship unlocks for sp, i've changed 3 unlock systems before implemented current one. Also forgot to set current point to 0 before reset... present :D

I have 332 sp (and I have already spent 150 SP for buying 2 ships) while my last sector is only 184. Looks like there is something wrong with my save data/online progress/mastery reset.
Oh, just checked code again, my bad. I forgot to reset sp counter to 0 before recalculating :) Small bonus for beta testers. Possibly i'll do 1 more sp resetin case new critical bug appears.

i have this faint memory of being able to turn off projectiles/lasers/explosions (or at least tone them down) in the last game, any chance that's on the todo list? computer is a bit burdened as it is.

Hey guys, thank you for participating in beta. Wanted to say that there will be NO reset on release, just some stats\values\prices may be rebalanced during beta. So if you don't play cause think you gonna lose progress - stop worrying and start having fun raiding space :D

Tried to watch a video but I got an error about it failing to load. After I closed the pop-up window the game is now just a black screen. Using Chrome.
Could you please check browser console log (console in development tools or smth)? Possibly kongregate didn't return result from video and game is on halt or it's error somewhere in logs.

What the color dot mean on the weapon?
And auto aim? what does it mean? got some weapon equip and they don'T attack where my mouse is (If it's what it mean)
Color dot = color of projectile or trail for engine.
Auto aim means weapon shoots automatically without manual target selection. ST weapons require target selection (hold on enemy) or they will shoot just forward.
You can't controll shooting pos with mouse, only selecting targets.

Armor plates seem to be totally not worth it compared to HP artifacts, they might need a buff to compete or change what it actually dose.

how about numbers to select ships arrow keys to change ship's positions instead of using the mouse? oh and welcome back man, you got here at the right time! no man's sky doesn't run on my old 32 bit system but your games are pretty awesome too
