yes i like how the upgrades progress now i just think the base model of the gun should be at low cost.. aka the mini guns start ( don't rember what the price is now) 25k as apposed too75k, it would be like adding a lvl 0 gun to the game. low damage for first lvl. basically bump all the stuff up one lvl and put a new lvl for cheep. i dont know if that came across well. i
I'll add more info on containers in tooltip. Right now you can get 1 container per 20 sector you can use instantly. starting from sector 90 you can get locked containers beating bosses. formula = (sector - 80) / 10. so 90 -> 1, 100 -> 2. You need to transfer before you can use them, transfer gives additional 10 each time.
Not sure about fire rate (cause we can increase it too much or fps will be very low)
Are you talking about damage or some other buffs? F.e. 1-3 random MK upgrades on reset?

Plottwist: turns out the crashing seems to consistently happen whenever I fail to beat the sector boss within the time limit. v 0.69

Unity keeps stroking out on me and crashing /maybe/ from last update? Though that could be my fault as well considering I'm using chrome and just did the unity workaround....so...who knows :D

Can you add in the cost of the first upgrade to the ship feature shop, and maybe a tutorial popup when you go in for the first time explaining that buying the feature doesn't actually give you any of the bonus until you invest more cargo containers into it. I bought the coconut shavers first, but couldn't do anything with them as I reset with 10 containers and its 50 to get the first level after buying it.
Sure. Added info in 0.69: Button "Buy new feature" -> "Order new feature: X" where X = price for order and tooltip about 0 lvl. Also added new field "First level price" with price for first upgrade in ship feature list entry, next to max level :)

As for me, most clickers are the same. I mean base gameplay: manual clicker\auto clicker, ugprades, resets. I wanted to add feel of defender game (but you can't loose) with tons of bullets/explosions and i like space :) And while in beta you can suggest ideas you think may be good and interesting and 'new' or smth you missed in other games. I'm ready to hear suggestions and work on improvement. I already have in plans one more game (finally i'm gonna be not alone but with artist) and it's not gonna be idler ;)

DPS of weapons is not correct after soft rest, refreshing solve the issue for now. Probably the bonus from open containers or the Tsar cannon feature is not calculated correctly for reset

Personally I think there is way to many 'container purchases' to be all unlocked at once, maybe cut back on them, or only have some unlocked at a time etc.
I can cut back some features like +% damage to 1 weapon type. Also i can make system like in Clicking heroes when you have random list of X entries you can reroll :) Uncloking at a time is a bit tricky because requires you to check for new features every time ;) Glad to hear other suggestion while i didn't start work. But yeah, i feel now that it became very long list.

im sorry if i offended you id this is a awesome game im just trying to say the lvl one guns should be cheep and have a min lvl requirement

Not really :) Are you talking about lowering weapon price to buy lvl 1 for any gun but lvl2+ use price as it is now? Price increases from base one by exponent without any jumps. And now you don't need much time to get first minigun.

just love seeing rockets miss from boss ships drifting up and down cause it decided to fire straight forward to the edge of the enemy instead of the center
If you are playing it as commong game then yes, all idlers are boring this way :) But if not, i'd like to hear feedback on what do you think is boring and what can make it less boring for you.

hrrrrm.... it appears you can make money several hundred times faster by dropping a few levels to a boss you can kill in several short seconds vs the leading wave

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but when I go to upgrade the guns the gui flickers quickly and I have to move the mouse back and forth to try and click on the spot to upgrade.

this game is way too heavy for an iddle game. And i'm not supposed to zoom when i have 3 projects opened on my desktop... i don't think a fullscreen mode is the way to go either. good luck and goodbye
1.5 Mb (webplayer version) is very small game really, if you are talking about loading times. And zooming, as i said below has causes problem with engine itself, so when i'm calculating tooltip position values i'm using are messed up. Thx for your time, bye.

Like many upgrades when you get to the higher ones the lower ones are not worth it. As for the game, I know that people have problems with Unity and may not be able to play it. I was able to since I don't get problems with Unity. The game though still in beta is not bad. Some comments are some explosions don't occur. When a lot of ships show up, some seem to be combined together and gets laggy, but that is expected. But over all it isn't bad.
I had no luck catching why sometimes explosions don't appear (it happens very rare for me, 1 on 1000, at least for me). On my rig(i7 2600k, gtx 470) i'm getting 250-600 fps, depends on amount of weapons\projectiles\enemies. I've spent a lot of time optimizing, some of the most consuming activities are unity ones now :) But i may need to do some more research in this field :)

I'd like to see containers quite early. Even if you can only use them after reset, it's rewarding to picture the power up's (mybe one after every 20 lvls). I played all afternoon and cant pass level 70, so I get a bit concerned about the game replay value if I have to spend half a day for each important boost (I know the reward amount has already been mentioned, but this 0 on top of my screen makes me stressed ^^)
I think all idlers don't give this currency before "soft reset" :) But i'll think about it. Maybe i just need to remove this currency indicator from top of the screen for now? :)
I suppose you are using webplayer version and zooming web page, this messes up unity's internals, don't use zoom please, i'll take a look, but not sure it's possible to fix.

just reloaded at level 74 after browser crash. after reload all damages have dropped to almost half what they were doing before reloading the browser.
I've made some changes in past 2 days, mb you were playing old version and after refresh it was updated. I'm working on balance and change a lot while game is in beta.

Are ship features and special items permanent as well across playthroughs? I would be concerned about opening containers if I have to get the MK upgrades every time I reset. Also, with some ship features having not level max, It would be good to see those being permanent as well.

the explosion sprites need a fixing as stated by others, review the karoake bar, i don't think u intended to make the game that easy with a single upgrade, and buying and selling hamsters makes u bucks might wanna review that

In 0.63 I'm seeing some graphic issues. Most buttons are missing their graphic, and explosions on ships are appearing as white blotches. Particle effects seem to be fine

Graphics bug must be fixed in v 0.64. It was webplayer build problem, sometimes it happens with unity. Next time i'm gonna check both builds: webgl and webplayer.
Hm, there's = there is (just a contraction). I suppose it must be "there are" because of "demonS", will fix it next time. English is not my native language and i'm glad to fix all my mistakes. Also would be great to understand why, this way i will be better next time ;)

Heh, i suppose you just don't like idlers. I'm playing them often as do my colleagues, open it up on 2nd monitior and buy some upgrades once in 10-30 minutes or do same every break (f.e. once an hour) ;)

Sure, balance needs polishing, thats why it's in beta :) I'm gonna decrease prices and up reward exponent a bit in v 0.63. Also i will be glad to hear how much does it need to be increased\decreased.

Awsome. Play all afternoon, set a bunch of high scores, get past sector 73, on my way to 80 for containers. Come back a few hours later and BAM, game is reset. Way to go.
What browser do you use? I'm using html5 local storage for save, didn't have problems while testing. Seems to be storage\cache issue. For now please use import\export if you want to play :) And please let me know if reset happens every time, i'll try to search myself for a cause.

i logged andcame back and was doing a considerable amount less damage (from like 3 mil to less than 1 mil) i think either my achevs are factoring in anymore or my game before i refreshed it had glitched damage scaling
He actually has a WebGL version that works well! Kongregate only serves WebGL to Chrome at the moment though - perhaps try loading in Chrome on Linux? I haven't tried it myself.

I can't buy anything because when I move my mouse over it the tool tip shows up instantly and blocks my mouse. Game breaking glitch.

do everyones mouse a favor and remove the overdrive garbage. idk bout anyone else, but i dont feel like breaking my mouse for an idle game
This is why this gun shooting automatically (in other clicker games you really need to click to deal damage). Overdrive just gives boost for damage and on lvl 5 you will get ability for instant fill of overdrive bar with low cooldown.

yes, every body knows better graphics > than content and is a valid reason why games should take 1/4 of the time to complete.
WebGL for now is very bad. Build times take up to 10 mins and may fail 2-3 times in a row. Game size is increased (1.5mb for webplayer and 20mb for webgl). Different problems on code side sometimes hard to resolve. Problems with testing - any exception stops game and you need to restart or rebuild with fix and test again. No way to use try-catch mechanics without considerable performance drop. Total headache.
