arialsnack is right, the angle and power only partially controls the shot, i did a test. i fired the bow 3 times at a 14 degree angle. the first two shots were close to each other but not exact, roughly 5 feet from the enemy. the third shot hit him in the torso. before you make a game, make sure everything is MADE RIGHT!!!

Congratulations! This is officially the worst game I have ever played! Not only is there absolutely no reason for the power and angle, but because the game does not allow you to hit the enemy, it tells you that you suck. No matter what angle and power you put in, it hits a random spot. It has no system, no consistency, no reason to play, if you thought about playing this game, think again.

..... the shooting isn't accurate i've had times where max power goes a lot less the half power..... 1/5. sorry it sucks.

This DOES have potential... Maybe it could be re-made for the Wii... except there's already "Link's Crossbow Training"... So, maybe not. Still, it has some sort of hidden potential... at least, a better game could be made out of it, maybe.

Bowman is better than this peice of crap, plus i cant even hit the enemy on level 2 and i run out of arrows and it says i suck!

I don't rate games based on originality. By its own merits; without comparing this to any other game, it's average at best. The wind, as far as I can tell, never changes, so it comes down to memorizing the right angle and the right strength to release the arrow. For example, you could look up a guide that tells you, "Level 1: Angle 15 Power 200" and you'll hit every single time until you win. My OTHER beef with the game is that after you beat the last level, it restarts back to level 1, and if you finish up your arrows, you're prompted with a screen that says, "You couldn't beat the game with 50 arrows, you suck!" Wow, really? Telling someone who is playing YOUR game that they suck when ironically the developer didn't know how to put in a Game Over screen? Geez.. this game has potential. Try to use what works a bit better if a sequel's made. 2/5.

It tells me I suck because I couldn't win with 50 arrows. Perhaps the game sucks for putting my enemy out of range...
Still, nice remake. I like the addition of birds to the main game.
