Yeah yeah, I know it's buggy, but thanks for the feedback anyways. I'm still quite new to flash, so don't expect much out of me ;)

Very buggy, too. I don't know what I did, but the ball decided to start going through the bricks. I also got the "CLICK TO BEGIN" thing constantly up there, so I click and it resets the ball at a higher speed. One could continue until they couldn't click fast enough.

I am currently doing that - Kongonia is going to do that for me basically, with one aspect of it. Check your whispers.

well if you have the idea, why not work with others who can develop it, that way at the same time, you will learn from them as they create your idea. its far easier than learning on your own!

Thanks Hammered, I love the Kongonia idea aswell, obviously ;)
As for thinking of games - I had a pretty good one planned out, but then Batallion was released, it's too similar, and that literally scrapped that idea. I'd have to spend years learning flash to get my idea going though ^_^

Very True iKiller, need to get inspired by something, its hard to sit and try to think of it, ideas need to come to you... depends on the persons imagination really, sitting and pondering upon other games is often unconstructive and can make it seem daunting. while if you find an original idea, then looking at other games for ways of executing that idea would be a lot better. Oh and love the Kongonia idea!! :)

it bugged out on me - the ball hit the very bottom rightas it hit the paddle and randomly wobbled up and down the right hand wall =S
other than that though, not bad lol =P

yes use what you have learnt from this, and go on to make something more advanced. Try think of something new and innovative. Its definately a learning curve and to be honest youve set out on it well!

I'm sure I could give it a go at making this game much better - but wouldn't it be better to advance in more aspects of Flash first?

Yes of course you can have your attempt, and fair enough for you doing it, pretty good job of a basic 'Blox' game.

I know that it's pretty simple - and it's a classic game that has been done before - but can't I have my attempt? It was really just to see if I could get through a basic game - the graphics for a test really aren't important to me - but it can still be pretty fun ;)
